The colours are very nice, whereas the lipstick is only okay. It is merely because of the colour, that I use this lipstick. The reason for this is that I do not like the formular. The lipstick is a bit drying and hard to apply and it does not last very long on me, maybe 1-2 hours. It also smells weird. After wearing it in about 20 minutes, I find that it dries out and leaves an unpleasant feeling on my lips. Of course it could have been me, that was unlucky with this one lipstick, but I was very disappointed. I will not repurchase.

Tips: Apply a lip balm 5-10 minutes before applying the lipstick, so you have hydrated lips.
I picked this lipstick up from a sale and I was quite excited. I love the packaging and it looks cute. However, I hated it when I applied it.
The smell to start with was horrible. It is too fragrant that it was overwhelming. The shade I got was Rose Passion which was a pinkish red which I actually liked but it had hints of shimmer in it. It wasn't frosty but it wasn't matte either. I didn't mind the colour but the smell put me off.
I do like how this has SPF 20 though. It's good on a lipstick. If you can get past the smell, then pick this up if it's on sale but it's really nothing to write home about. It's an ok product but I just did not like the overwhelming scent.
I have this in the shade Nude Delight. I really like this colour as I struggle to find nudes that suit me and whilst the formula is nice and creamy I find that it doesn't have the staying power of some of the other lipsticks I own and I have to reapply often. In saying that it is an affordable day to day lipstick, that I do wear frequently.
I bought this lipstick from an online cosmetics sale in the colour 'Rose Sorbet'. In the bullet it looks like a bright blue-based pink with a satin finish, but when applied the colour is a lot more muted, almost like your lips but pinker.
I quite like the packaging, the metallic purple and silver is really eye-catching and makes it a lot easier to find in amongst all my other lippies.
This lipstick claims to be super moisturising and it really does live up to these claims! The formula is really creamy and when applied to clean, dry lips felt really hydrating, like a balm which I was really impressed with as in winter my lips dry out a lot and I'm constantly having to apply moisture.
It may just be the particular shade I have or the finish of the lipstick which was a satin, but I found the pigmentation really wasn't that good, I had expected something lovely and vibrant but instead I had to layer it up to get a part-way decent colour pay-off. This only lasted on my lips a couple of hours without eating before I had to reapply.
There are so many drugstore lipsticks available out there and unfortunately this one just doesn't do it for me so I'll be passing it along.
Tips: I found the colour was pretty buildable so if when you first apply it doesn't look so great, try layering it.
I have 210 fancy and its a really lovely colour. Its a mix between a nude and light pink with a hint of glitter or sparkles through it. This lipstick is great when I'm wanting a more natural look with a bit of a pop as the pink comes through really nicely. It applies nice and smooth and stays on for an hour or two. It doesn't really hydrate or moisturise my lips as much as I would like it to as I still need to apply some balm before using. Its in a nice shiny purple tube with a crown on top which looks quite pretty. I would defiantly recommend this product to anyone wanting to wear something a little more than nude but not to out there.
My aunt gave me Amethyst Shimmer many moons ago. It's is a pink amethyst with undertones of pink plum with fine shimmers. It comes in a flimsy yet bulky mirrored purple case with a slant lid as opposed to the normal bullet. I don't like the packaging because you can easily break it and due to personal preference.
I like that it initially smells like an old fashioned lipstick however there's a strong perfume that comes through. The product glides evenly on the lips and you can achieve a good swatch of colour with just one swipe. I find that it leaves my lips feeling hydrated and doesn't move much when worn over lipliner.
The staying power isn't too great when worn just as it is, I can probably get 3 hours wear before the colour begins to fade. Having said that it leaves a lovely healthy looking stain but once the pigment is gone you're still left with the shimmers.
Despite not liking shimmer or a satin finish for lip products, I grew to like the shade however I feel that it makes me look a tad older which is not really what I go for. This shade would look fabulous on those with a lighter or darker complexion to me (MAC NC42-44). I have to put in a bit more effort to try and pull it off so it's not shade I would repurchase. If the lasting power improved I would consider repurchasing a different shade.
One thing that I really don't like with this product is it has that "old lady" scent. I usually don't mind when make up has scents but this one bothers me quite a bit. Good thing is, it really does hydrate my lips but I find that it doesn't have good pigmentation as I have to apply a few coats before I get the desired amount of colour on my lips. I'd say this is a pretty average lipstick.
Love the purple packaging & the price of these lipsticks are so affordable I own a few in different shades. The lipstick go on smoothly unfortunately the colour doesn't last as long as higher end products but perfect for a quick fix or one for the bottom of the handbag
Tips: Definitely need to apply a couple of layers.
I have a couple of these which I got cheap at one of those makeup sales. They are definitly moisturising I have one in nude delight which is a lovely colour, however once applied it is very streaky and I feel like I am continuously rubbing my lips together to even it out. This is different for the colour Rose Shimmer which is a lovely medium pink which is shimmery and this one is a dream is nothing like the nude delight and once applied looks amazing straight away. I do like the colours of these, but they do not have much of a staying power and have to reapply often. I like the colours and will continue the colours i have, but i dont think that i will purchase more colours
A great basic lippy. I purchased this at Farmer's when it was on sale in a "nude" colour. I was looking for that super shiny gorgeous nude lipstick shade and unfortunately this wasn't "the look" I was going for. I tried the tester, but as always it looks different on your hand from your lips.
It made my lips feel quite dry and tight, I didn't feel like it moisturised them very well and it made them peel which wasn't a "great" look. I have very dry lips though so maybe this could be prevented by using a moisturising lip balm before hand.
Comes in a gorgeous purple case though, super cute.
Isn't my favourite, so unfortunately this wasn't a keeper for me..
Tips: Maybe try using a moisturising lip balm before hand to prevent lips from drying
