Maybelline Eye Studio Gel Eyeliner Review

This is the first gel liner I have ever used and I absolutely love it! Unfortunately my eye sight is rubbish so applying eyeliner has always been an absolute struggle for me but this!!!! Wow, the applicator it comes with is fantastic and the product itself is creamy and awesomely pigmented. Applying this is a breeze, and I have personally found that the staying power is perfect. No transferring or smudging, just sits nicely where I apply it and lasts right up until I wash my face in the even. I would definitely recommend this for beginners!

I purchased this after my holy grail gel liner stopped doing it for me. I am totally in love with this liner and I even love the brush it comes with. It goes on smooth and creamy, dries fairly fast and is rich and black(I have the black obviously!). It also survived a whole night of me drinking(which can leave some eyeliners messy) and even a night of sleep(a big no no I know but showed the staying power) as it was still perfectly in place the next morning. So rich, intense and long wearing. Will be re purchasing!

I couldn't have enough good things to say about this product. I have had this for so long (would rather not say, should have chucked it probably) and it still has not dried out! I find this is one of the only gel eyeliners that have managed to stay reasonably black all day and does not tend to dry up and crumple off. I did find the formulation quite thick and found the type of brush i used was important but i did like that about this product... AMAZING :)

This eyeliner has got to be the best eyeliner I've ever used!!!! It stays on all day, and the colour doesn't fade! I've always been 100% satisfied with this product every time I wear it out. I would definitely suggest anyone who loves their eyes looking bold and flawless all day to buy this :)

Love it! I am currently using this product and I will definitely continue to use it. I've been using this for at least 3/4 weeks now and barely made a dent in the jar. It's very easy to apply and when I purchased it, it came with the application brush so two scores in one :-) Gives very clear definition, and I also have sensitive eyes but have not yet had a problem with this eyeliner. I find it doesn't smudge or melt off easily and lasts all day long. I would definitely recommend if you have trouble with eyeliner pencils and I would recommend otherwise.

I LOVE this stuff! It's a must have for cat-eyes! This stuff is so versatile, depending on the kind of brush you use you can easily alter the thickness and shape desired. And this stuff does not budge! It'll last you all day and night.

I am very new to using gel liner and I like this product I have now three of them the blackest one , a grey black and also a dark green one called "forest" I like how they come with a brush to apply and the brush has a proper handle on it and a lid. I think this product lasts nicely and it doe not hurt my eyes. The price is okay but I think they could make it a little cheaper. It comes in a glass jar but the glass is thick so you do not have to worry that it could break if you drop it. It does not go all dry and flake off. I have not tried many other brands but I am learning to master gel liner and love this product and the brush it comes with plus the product itself.

I love this product, it goes on so easy and has a great texture. It is so easy to get a perfect line with this type of eyeliner, I find it perfect for doing winged eyeliner. This product also lasts a long time because you don't need much to get a perfect look.

I cannot express how much I love this stuff. It is such a good quality product for such a good price. I use an eyebrow brush to apply it and it works perfectly because I really dont like the brush that it comes with. It is so easy to glide on the lid and it never smudges on me. I have it in Black and Charcoal. I never thought I would like Charcoal since its a dark grey but I actually wear it quite often because its so different. It is very comparable to Mac Blacktrack which I also have but its definitely more worth it to get the maybelline one because it works just as good if not better than the Mac one and its way cheaper.

I have always struggled to apply eyeliner. Can't draw a straight line, flicks don't match, do one eye too thick so have to redo the other one, end up with panda eyes and wash it all off. Every. Time. I was on the hunt for something different, and had never tried a gel eyeliner before. While at Farmers I picked up and put down multiple eyeliners before settling on this Maybelline one. I liked that it comes with a brush - seemed like good value for money. Before applying the product I applied an eye primer and then a light eyeshadow. I dipped the brush into the product and wiped off some of the excess, and started doing short strokes on my eyelid close to my lash line, and then did a flick at the end. The product glided on smoothly, and the brush was easy to use. I managed to get a pretty decent flick too - usually mine are all wonky! I then did my other eye, and finished up by going over the lines in places to ensure the colour was even. I then went out for 4 hours and came home with no smudges, no fading, AND I was a lazy bum and didn't take my make up off before bed (I know, I know) and obviously it smudged in my sleep but it hasn't faded much at all! I can honestly say this is the best eyeliner I have ever used, so easy to apply, great value for money, much better than a liquid eyeliner!
