Revlon Grow Luscious Plumping Mascara

I like this mascara its good , i felt my lashes where reallyfluffy full looking when wearing this mascara . i dont think my lashes grew at all but this mascara is still fab none the less .

It does what it's meant to, but to be honest not worth the effort in my opinion. It made my lashes quite clumpy after 2 coats - I have short lashes so I need all the help I can get! I feel this would work for girls who would only need one coat on their lashes for them to look good...I'm looking at you long eyelash'd beauties! :)

Did not like. I applied it in the morning which was fine it applies nicely and you don't need alot but by the time I looked in a mirror again it had flaked off under my eyes. Definatly not a good look I never used it again after that

The big brush I found didn't coat my lashes very well due to its large size meaning I would struggle to get all my lashes and some just ended up being uncoated so I didn't get it all over my eyelid. By the end of the day the mascara transferred all under my eyes, creating major panda eyes. I constantly had to wipe away black smudges throughout the day. I did purchase this from a makeup sale so I'm unsure if its faulty or the product just didn't work for me. Mascara is an everyday must for me so I found this product to be quite disappointing.

I purchased this beauty from Farmers when they had a sale.When I opened the mascara I was a bit surprised seeing the size of the wand,it was huge.But with regular use I got used to it. The bristles helped to separate each lash, giving it a dark plump look.without clumping even after 2-3 coats.The only downside was that it dried out quite fast.

I just cant help myself, I seem to buy a new mascara about once a month, whether I need it or not, and this is one that I always wear. I find I don't get clumps as much with this one, the brush really separates my lashes well and I get a really nice coating with out having to go over it too many times.

Consistency - This mascara had quite a thick consistency.

Application - I applied one or two coats of this mascara to my lashes, any more than that it began to look very thick and clumpy. This product was not waterproof however it did stay put on my lashes and didn't smudge or flake away. I have also tried the waterproof version of this and it stayed put until I removed it.

Usage - This lasted me around 4 months of nearly everyday use, it would have lasted longer if I didn't think it was gross using it for that long and if it hadn't started to dry out and become a bit more difficult to apply.

Price - The retail price of this product is more than what I would normally spend on a mascara, I tend to purchase mascara from The Warehouse for around the $20 mark.

Packaging - The packaging of this product is quite heavy and feels somewhat expensive and the colours stand out nicely making it easy to grab for.

Results - i did enjoy using this product it made my lashes look a lot fuller and way longer than what they are. The colour was an intense black rather than a greyish black which I really liked.

Skin Type- I have very fair combination, blemish prone skin. I get an oily t zone but other areas of my face often get dry.

Repurchase - I will consider purchasing this products again in the future however there are a couple of other mascaras I would like to try.

The words luscious and plumping caught my attention straight away when I was shopping for a new mascara. I have liked Revlon mascara in the past so I decided to give this a try. For $30 it better work! I love the satin emerald green tube it comes in. It is a nice change from the normal colour tubes you get. The texture of the mascara I found is quite thick and goopy looking. The brush picks up too much product and I am left trying to wipe it off on the side of the tube. Not a great start!

The brush itself is long and spindly, with a heap of small bristles evenly spaced which is the sort of brush I prefer. I start from the root of my lashes and zig zag my way to the tips to get the most out of the swipe. I find that my lashes end up being clumped up with mascara. If this is the luscious plumping they are referring to in the name then I say no thank you to that. I would have liked it to coat and separate my lashes to make them fuller but not clumpy. For $30 you can keep it Revlon! I am not sold on it.

I think this was actually the first mascara that I ever owned so at the time of using it, I'll admit I liked it a lot - but that was mainly because I had nothing to compare it to. Since I've broadened my horizons and tried other products I haven't repurchased this product. For an expensive price the overall quality could be better. I liked the large brush on it as i have quite long lashes naturally so I found it helped to coat my lashes evenly. However throughout a long day it tends to become quite flaky and clumpy, so I wouldn't recommend wearing it all day at work or in the heat. Also I found the product seemed to run/dry out fairly fast compared to other mascaras, perhaps because the consistency is quite thick? But for its price it didn't really last the distance.

I started using this mascara years ago and when I first got it, I loved it. I used it all the time and bought a new one as soon as the one I had was used up. However, now that I've tried others, I've realised that it wasn't as great as I initially thought.

I'll start with the positive: It does last for ages. I think I used it for about 6 months before I had to buy a new one. It's easy to wash off, but not so easy that it smudges. It will run if you cry though! I also thought the brush was quite good.

Now to the not so good stuff, It doesn't really make your eyelashes that much longer or give them lots of volume. I found that it just defines them. This could be because my natural eyelashes are quite light, so are hard to see when I don't wear mascara.

All in all, it's an alright product, but there are better ones out there for the same price.
