I wanted to love this mascara because Essence always seems to come out with great affordable makeup products but this one didn’t really work for me. I found the actual formula okay, possibly not as long lasting and a bit flakier than I would like, but it was more the size of the brush that didn’t quite donut for me - great for upper lashes, not as easy to use on the lower lashes and there are other essence mascaras that are better all rounders.

It gave me panda eyes!
I love essence products but this one really let's them down. My teen daughter doesn't like it either. It goes on ok, and my eyelashes look nice, but it really gave me panda eyes after half a day of wear.

Bye bye panda eyes
I absolutely love this product, I have always found it difficult to find a mascara that has a nice brush on it but also defines my natural lashes without it looking clumpy. This product coats each individual lash and makes your eyes look brighter and bigger, there’s no damage to your eyelashes when washing it off either.
Tips: For this product, i would use the phrase Less is more!

I brought this for my Mum and she likes it, when I tried it was pretty good. Although, not exactly smudge proof, I don't think many mascaras are. Good mascara overall though, would use again.
