Revlon Grow Luscious Lash Potion

I purchased this because I am forever buying mascaras I haven't used as I am a bit of a mascara junkie.

One of the main things that drew me to this was the bright packaging - I am a sucker for packaging that looks interesting or pretty.

The brush is probably a little large for what I usually like and if you have small eyes or super short lashes then I am not sure how you would find the brush.

Although the brush is large, I found that it did comb through my lashes thoroughly and didn't cause any clumps. It fanned them out and separated them (which I like in a mascara), as well as making them look longer and thicker.

The name of the product is a little deceptive - I assumed that this actually assisted your lashes in growing, but it doesn't. So if you're looking for something that helps your lashes grow then this isn't for you.

In terms of the formula it is quite wet and I found it took a little longer than other mascaras I use, to dry. So if you're using this be warned and let your lashes dry before blinking otherwise you'll end up with mascara all over your face.

Overall I think this is a good mascara but it irritated me that the packaging made it sound like it had growth serum in it. I do like this mascara and I did use it until the tube ran out, but I won't be rushing to purchase it again. In my opinion, for the price, you can get something that does a nicer job BUT this is a good mascara. I just don't think it's worth $27.50 as that is a lot for me to spend on a mascara. However if I found this cheaper I would definitely repurchase it :)

This wonderful product was part of the recent Revlon gift. I was pleasantly surprised to receive a new full sized mascara along with 3 other great full sized Revlon products.

The mascara has a lovely thick, big bristled brush which I love. It manages to deliver the luscious black mascara to each and every lash easily and effectively. It separates and is non clumping and makes my lashes look really long and voluminous!! The product is the perfect consistency and and lasts well throughout my day without requiring touch ups.

It comes in a large colourful, fun tube of shimmery purple and green, with a shiny pink lid. I really do love using this mascara. It truly delivers in it's claims of making your lashes long, lush and lustrous!! I highly recommend this to anyone wanting luscious lashes and will definitely be purchasing when mine runs out!

Whilst in Australia I saw an amazing Revlon gift with purchase deal at David Jones - so of course I ran in and took them up on the offer. Part of the gift was this mascara and having not rated Revlon's mascaras before I was glad to be proven wrong.

The packaging is super cool and a lovely lead in to the main event . When I first pulled out the brush I was amazed at how bristly it was, big too! The formula is quite a wet one and with one simple swipe my lashes were immediately as 'lustrous' as they said they would be - and I discovered lashes I didn't even know I had! No clumps too and no second application was required. What I loved the most was that it wasn't as lengthening as billed. As a glasses wearer and with naturally long lashes I find a lot of mascaras end up causing my lashes to bat against my glasses which is rather annoying.

Oh, and if you sniff the wand you'll find the mascara quite sweet smelling - I wouldn't usually bother with smelling mascara but I wanted to give an in-depth review :)

This is officially me new go-to mascara. Love!

I received this in my free gift pack when buying a bunch of other Revlon products. At first I thought it was a lash serum so wasn't really interested, but when I realised it was a mascara, I decided to try it out.

By the name, you would think it had some kind of lash serum in the formula, but I'm pretty sure it doesn't, which is why I have marked it down a little bit.

The brush is massive, so if you have small lashes or small eyes, this is probably not the mascara for you. I personally don't mind the large brush and find with bigger brushes you have less problems with clumping.

The formula itself is pretty decent. It is a wet formula and applies quickly with out much need to keep brushing over and over. It grips pretty well to my almost non-existant lower lashes as well which is a big plus for me.

I would buy this mascara again, it's been a while since I've found one I actually like.

Firstly, I purchased this mascara due to the packaging as it appealed a lot to me. This is the first Revlon mascara I have ever bought and I love the formula. I have found that the wand helps to prevent the mascara from clumping but it also makes them look long and lustrous. It also helps to add volume into my lashes.

I swear my lashes have never looked so long, my mum even asked if I was wearing falsies, but no! just this amazing mascara.. From the pretty packaging to the huge size of the brush and number of bristles (making application easier, faster and much less clumpy) to the fact that it lasts all day with absolutely zero running or smudging, render this my favourite mascara so far! i cant tell if it illuminates fine lashes that other mascaras simply couldn't, or actually lengthens them - but either way I'm happy and my eyes are stunning :D

UPDATE: I find that this mascara deteriorates throughout the day and drops under my eyes. However the results during the day are still worth it! :)

I have in the past tried Revlon Mascara's and have not been impressed.. I had trouble with them dropping throughout the day which I could not stand.

I was on a mission to find a new mascara and a new brand as the brand I normally use (Maybelline) had not been quite satisfactory lately.

So thanks to Beauty Review I came across this Revlon Lash Potion.

The packaging is gorgeous and for the little amount I was spending I really felt this packaging was above the other cheaper brands. The actual bottle is really cute with the glossy green bubble effect wrap and shiny purple lid.

The brush is big enough to make application to majority of your lashes easy however small enough to get those little lashes at the end and at the bottom. The formulation of the mascara is nice and wet and you are able to build it by letting it dry a little to get a much heavier look. This mascara does make my lashes look thicker, longer and bolder without being clumpy.

As far as the strengthening proteins go, I am unsure... I am also currently using Flash serum so maybe together I will have long strong lashes, here is hoping anyway.

omg, i only brought this originally because it was two for the price of one but, i was not expecting much, this mascara has a big brush with well spread bristles that spread the lashes accordanly, the formula is super dark and goes on so easy

Can never have too many mascaras ! I got this for a Gift for Xmas and I love it ! The packaging is super cute ! No clumps long amazing eyelashes don't have too spend ages removing at night , !

I absolute love this mascara! I have recommended it to all my friends and family who all think it is amazing too. Gives such good volume and length!
