First off thanks so much BR for giving me the opportunity to be part of this trial. I had just run out of mascara so this was perfect timing for me.
It comes in a gorgeous metallic silver tube. I find it visually appealing. I however don't feel the need for the box it comes in. Just a waste of packaging to me. It came in black which is the only colour I ever use. The tube is quite chunky but it is easy to hold.
The brush has short bristles, it does a great job at coating my lashes and defining them. The formula is more on the dry side, I find one coat is all I can do otherwise it starts to clump, especially on my outer lashes. But one coat is really all I need so I'm ok with that.
My lashes are instantly noticeably longer and lush looking. They fan out beautifully and are definitely more dramatic than the previous mascara I was using. I really love how they look.
I get no transfer or flaking at all. It stays put all day long until I remove with micellar water. This is a really great mascara for both day and night. A great affordable price also.
Bambi Eye False Lash Mascara comes in a cardboard box a little longer than the length of the mascara itself. There's a cut out section on the front where you can see the shiny silver mascara through the packaging. It's clearly labelled on the box with font in block letters that reads, DOE-EYE LOOK, EYE OPENING EFFECT. The colour is Black which is stated on the front of the box. 8.9ml is the volume and the formula is Black Velvet. There's an image of an eye with this mascara applied which shows the product's 'False Lash' Mascara look on one side of the box. On the other side of the box, there is a before and an after results images. You can see the difference in the photos. It says underneath the images RESULT: CURLED, ELONGATED & DEFINED LASHES. NO CLUMPS! There's an image of the wide eyed brush on one side of the box and ingredients list and recycle instructions on the back.
I opened the box, twisted the lid off the mascara. It's shiny, bullet shaped with a pointed tip. After a few twists, it came off easy. I applied this False Lash mascara with the wide eyed brush to one of my eyes' lashes first. It went on easy with no clumps. I found the mascara wand easy to use. After a few blinks on the brush, my lashes were defined, longer and did curl a little. I thought it did make my lashes have that false lash look but it wasn't overboard. I applied a light coat to my bottom lashes as well then I looked in the mirror and you could definitely see the difference compared to my eye with no mascara on. I applied Bambi Eye False Lash to my other lashes on my other eye and I was satisfied with the results. It stayed put all day and didn't run or smudge when I sneezed from pollen in the air at the moment.
I left it on all day and took it off in the evening with Garnier Micellar water and Swisspers wipes but before I done so, my lashes were still elongated, curled and clump free at the end of the day. The next day, I wore the mascara again and liked the results. I will continue to use it daily as mascara is a must-have with my daily makeup routine. I like that it makes my lashes look lovely and lush and longer. Without this false lash mascara, I have no lashes. I probably would buy it in the future after trialing this. I had a look at how much these retail for at Farmers, $30.99 at the moment but I think it's worth paying more for a good quality mascara. And who doesn't want eye opening effect and the Doe-eye-look? I noticed my lashes and eyes didn't itch either which is great.
Great product if you want to get that Doe-eyed look and eye opening effect.
