Urban Decay Electric Pressed Pigment Palette It’s the ultimate fix for color addicts ten of the brightest, most amazing shades you’ve ever laid eyes on, plus a double-ended brush. Chaos-inducing color—in ten VELVETY shades. Inspired by Chaos (a brilliant matte blue from The Vice Palette), we created the ultimate fix for color addicts—packed with ten of the brightest, most amazing shades you’ve ever laid eyes on, plus a double-ended brush. In addition to Chaos (yes, it’s back!), this palette marks the return of Revolt (a silver standout from our Anarchy Face Case). All the other shades are NEW!

From ultra-smooth mattes to highly dimensional shimmers, each VELVETY shade delivers insane color payout. Why do a Pressed Pigment Palette? Using pressed pigments was the only way we could create heavily saturated brights with the intense pigment load we craved. Traditional pressed pigment formulas just wouldn’t cut it. To achieve shades like these, we had to develop an entirely new formula!

Marry me Electric Palette?

Anyone who's seen my photos on BR will know of my deep love for this palette. We've had our ups and downs as I learnt how to blend with her but we've come out the other side stronger and brighter.

Can we take a moment to gush over the colours? Gonzo, a deep blue. Revolt, so pigmented its practically a metal varnish. Thrash, the perfect mermaid green. Freak, Ungh! It's like a michellin star chef tasted the rainbow!

And the pigmentation?

What you see is what you get is the biggest understatement!

Plus because they're pigments they're so much more then eyeshadows. I've used mine to give me bright ombre neon brows. As a cheek contour for costume makeup. As a blush when I'm feeling barbiedoll-esq.

I don't know how else I can say it. If you like colour, you need this in your life!

so much LOVE

I bought this from a fellow BR member (and its barely been touched), I was just starting to feel confident wearing neon’s and brights so I couldn’t WAIT to have a play with this and I swear even if you aren’t into brights and neons yet this palette will change your mind.

Packaging wise this is sturdy black plastic palette with what looks like smoke in bright colours with Urban Decay ELECTIC printed on top. The magnet that holds it closed is quite strong so there is no chance of it coming open if you take it with you. I open it up and first thing I notice is the massive mirror that cover the entire lid. There is also a double ended brush between the two rows of colours, which I haven’t actually used. Then the colours ooooh the colours sitting in their big round pans are so eye catching I often just open the lid just to admire the colours. Speaking of here is a brief description.

Revolt: is a very metallic silver, Gonzo: cobalt blue, Slowburn: fiery bright orange, Savage: neon pink, Fringe: is a teal colour, Chaos: darkish blue, Jilted: a maroon, Urban: deep purple, Freak: lime green, Thrash: rather bright yellow.

Every single one of these colours is so pigmented and so, so shimmery and the formula phroar they are divinely creamy, so creamy they are almost a bit hard to blend, but just keep going! My favourites would have to be Gonzo, Fringe, Chaos, Jilted and Urban.. heck that’s nearly the whole palette.

I don’t use any eyeshadow primer before applying these shadows but they last ages and adhere so well. There is no product fallout (thank goodness because there is a lot of shimmer) I can wear this for a full day 7-8 hours and there is no colour fade, no slipping nothing It is almost magical at how well it stays put. Removing it isn’t too bad the colour comes off easily but it does take a bit more elbow grease to remove the shimmery metallic colours.

This is right up there with my favourite palettes it really is a treat and nothing like I have ever owned and is in a complete league of its own in my collection.

Gimme a Rainbow

I love colorful palettes and when I saw this I knew I needed to add it to my collection.

The colors are gorgeous and there is lots of metallic to be found (my other big love). The pigmentation is fantastic and last all day without a primer and fall out.

Revolt is my favorite shade, but I do like them all. While not my favorite colors, I like that this palette offers a good red and yellow which I find hard to get in a lot of colorful palettes. I would have liked a standard green and orange as well though.

In terms of packaging, it's sleek and the accompanying brush isn't bad.

It is a little pricey, but it's quality and colorful. I am definitely a fan.

For bold ladies

I was lucky to win this palette and I am quite pleased now as I didn't know it is pricey. I love gorgeous and bold colors though to be honest I am still not that confident to use all of them. I think this is ideal especially for younger girls and will be great for summer make up. Quality is really great and lasts long. No need to reapply during the day. Easy to wash with good face cleanser.
