Revlon Luxurious Color Diamond Lust Eyeshadow

I really enjoy this product - I have it in silver (i think its called Celestial silver) and its really easy to apply. I usually use an angled brush and just put a tiny bit on my eyes as it is very sparkly! really pigmented.

It is probably best for nighttime as it is super glittery and glamorous. Goes nicely with a smoky eye!

I have these eyeshadows in two shades; night sky and celestrail silver. These eyeshadows are super easy to apply. I find that these shades are definetely for the night time but I think the silver would look gorgeous for wedding makeup. Also that are super glittery .

They're small, individual shadows, that are almost as good as a pigment! The colour pay-off is WOW!

I have a light pink shade (sorry, I can't remember the name), and I use it for a highlight in the inner corner of my eye and under the lower lash line. It's not too glittery that you scream '5-year-old-girl-that-got-in-to-Mum's-makeup-drawer' but just enough to add a POW of brightness and contrast to a matte look.

I LOVE this product. It stays on for ages and in this colour its so pretty. Its easy to put on with the brush they include. Although you have to be careful/practice how much you put on the brush because it can take alot and then when you put it on its far too much. Its such a pretty colour and a good price for how much is there.

This is my absolute, all-time, forever and ever favourite eye shadow! I wear it almost every day and constantly get compliments about how sparkly and lovely my eyes look because of it! I have got about 3 or 4 extra of these because for some reason you can no longer purchase this particular colour at stores in New Zealand so I have had to order it online or get it from brand outlet sales when they come around! The colour (Starry Pink) is absolutely gorgeous, the glitter is quite pigmented but it shines and sparkles. The colour and glitter last all day long and I don't notice any creasing (even without a primer or base) and even if I wear it all day long. It comes with a small eye shadow applicator but I find that the glitter begins to get lost in the sponge after few uses so I use an larger eye shadow/crease brush.

I have a confession. I am not really a fan of diamonds. Honestly - I think they're pretty but personally I would rather have a pony than a rock on my finger :P

So I was super surprised that I fell in love with this. A friend very generously gifted 'Celestial Silver' to me before moving to the UK, as a goodbye present. This sat in my draw for a few weeks until I remembered it and tried it out.

Celestial Silver is an amazing silver with diamond like sparkles. It literally looks like you're wearing ground up diamond particles on your lids.

Initially I was apprehensive about looking like I had had glitter thrown at my eyes but the shimmer on these is so beautiful that it doesn't look like a craft store threw up on your face :P

I like the packaging on this - the thing I liked the most is that you can see the colour through the little window on the package. It feels sturdy and is small enough to pop into your makeup bag if you want to touch it up during the day or want to travel with it.

You can use this on top of another eyeshadow or by itself. It is really pigmented and it looks amazing if applied over the top of a silver or purple cream shadow. I only use this at night as I don't like wearing sparkly things during the day, and I also like to use a really small eyeliner brush to put it thinly on my top and bottom lash line for a hint of sparkle.

The only criticism I really have with this is there is a little bit of fallout - but nowhere near as much as I would have expected there to be with such a glittery product. It is really easy to clean up and I always apply this before my face makeup so it is easier to remove.

Now I am not too scared to use glittery products and I really want to try more of these shadows. I totally recommend them - they're incredible for the price and the glitter lasts all night on my eyelids when using a cream base.

This is just like Diamonds have been put into the shadow! I got the champagne pink like one. And it just add a nice sparkling highlight to your brow bone or inner corners. It is very build able, if you want just a low key natural look just dab abit with ya finger or slap some on with a brush and you will be ready for a night out!

I have had a few of these over the years and I love them, but they are hard work!

Revlon Luxurious Colour Diamond Lust Eyeshadows come in a very generous size at a reasonable price. The black casing really lets the colour pop through the big viewing window.

I find the provided brush is completely inadequate for application. I'd prefer to see a brush applicator rather than a sponge tipped one, personally.

The colour transfers brilliantly - especially when a damp brush is used - and sparkles like mad without being 90's glitter-crazy. It's more a statement sparkle, and blends well with other matte shadows.

It goes *everywhere* though. For eyeshadow that comes packed into a 'cake', it very much behaves like loose powder. It gets on your cheeks, on your clothes, and on the floor. I do find leaning forward and angling my face down helps here! (That way it only goes on the floor when it falls! ;) Use of a wet brush also alleviates this somewhat.

The shadow lasts and lasts and lasts. It really is a great product once it's on - so worth the battle :)

These eyeshadows are so gorgeous and glittery, and when used correctly can add a lovely sparkle to any look. I have the one in the picture above, Starry Pink, as well as Night Sky. The two colours have amazing pigmentation, and a little goes a really long way. Yet they can be a little hard to work with due to fallout, that’s why I usually use shadow guard or I simply dust any excess off with a brush. Now the packaging is nothing great, but I does its job and is easy to use. However the brush that is supplied is completely useless so I definitely advise using your own. Also trust me when I say take your time applying these eyeshadows. I personally have tried to put them on in a rush and ended up looking like a hot mess, so make sure you have plenty of time up your sleeve. But overall I think these are a great buy for anyone wants to shake up their eye makeup routine. They are great for both subtle and dramatic looks, but they just take a little bit of getting used to.
