The one I have is cream based and super glittery in the pan it looks like a kind of tan colour but when put on the skin it is super silvery and sparkley looks good in the inner corners of the eye or near the brows but in my opinion the glitter is too much to be a highlight on the cheeks as it is not very fine. I have not tried any of the others and am normally not a fan of cream shadow this does not crease too easily either which is nice and can be built up or thin and blended to sheer coverage. the packaging is a bit false advertising as you do not get near the amount you think you are getting by the thick round container in terms of depth. You can get these cheaper online and I think that is the way to go instead of paying retail for them. Not a bad product if you are young and love glitter.

Reviews
I don't think my thoughts have ever been so divided about a product when writing a review! Where to begin...
I guess I'll start by saying that the Australis Metallix Eyeshadows are awesome products. High quality, very high pigment, massive impact. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for an eyeshadow with oompf, something for evening events or parties.
The reasons why I didn't end up totally loving this shadow was that it wasn't what I thought I was buying. I needed an inner eye corner shimmer shadow, and specifically wanted a powder. Nothing in the description for the Australis Metallix Eyeshadows did it say that the consistency of the product is really more like a thick cream. This made it really hard to apply a subtle amount to my eyes, and I found it difficult to use this as an inner corner highlight without looking like a preteen going mad with glitter. I've ended up using the shade Amy Whitehouse as an overall shadow instead, and it does look gorgeous when lightly dabbed over lids for a dewy look.
I only wish the product description had been more specific so I hadn't bought something I didn't want!
I have the shade Guns and Rose Petals and it is absolutely stunning! It can apply quite chunky (for lack of a better word) and can fade or transfer after a little while. I have tried setting it with similar pressed shadows but it dulls the metallic look. It looks amazing when used as a winged liner, it just takes a bit of finessing to get the opacity when using a tiny angled brush but is worth it.
It's alright for the price, it just wish it dried down/set better so it would last longer.
Tips: Experiment with application, setting and use until you find what works for you.
I'll start by warning people this is a cream eyeshadow, so if that ain't your jam this is probably not the shadow for you.
Pigmentation for this eyeshadow is amazing and the silver is just beautiful.
The wear and tear is not so amazing however. I find it fades quickly and isn't the best to blend.
I wear this generally for a night out when I want that high impact metallic shadow to be on display. Glitter is my middle name after all :P
If it wore better I would repurchase.
I brought this in the shade Amy Whitehouse. It is a white metallic colour. The formula of this is incredibly buttery so it can take a bit to dry on your eyelids so I recommend not skipping the eyeshadow primer with these. I love that the colour pay off is true to the name of the eyeshadow that being metallic.
It can be quite difficult to get the right amount of eyeshadow out of the pot with a make up brush. So I end up applying this using my finger which isn't very hygienic. They can crease and transfer so I tend to only wear them for a special occasion and not everyday use.
I enjoy creating new looks and this shade is prefer as a base for doing so. I recommend these especially at the price.
Tips: Go easy it super pigmented.
I liked the shimmery and glittery pigment in these shadows. They did feel a little sticky on the eyes so you could only apply it thinly and I'm not sure how well they would last in humidity. However I did feel glamorous wearing them.
It is worth the buy. You're getting a lot of pigment and metallically wonderful-ness (yep made up word) for what you're paying.
I do love and enjoy this product for those above reasons, however, there are a couple downsides...
Due to the consistency/texture it can be a bit difficult to pick up with a brush, I find you generally pick up a bit too much and then you're either going to get fall out or metallic overload (more of an issue just when you're wanting a small amount to highlight lid of eye etc... if you want full eye covered with this then that's not really a problem).
I also find that it can be a little bit patchy when blending... It's a very unique texture in that regard but honestly, I do think, even with the downsides that this is worth the buy.
They've got a colour range, my particular favourite is Gun's and Metal Petals and the pay off is great... it's just a bit difficult to work with if you're trying to achieve a really seamless look.
Tips: Probably easiest to use this product with your finger if you want to blend it out nicely!
