Great For The Price

I brought this palette as a cheap one to take away on holiday with me, that had a range of pink/purple/blue-ish shades as well as a few dark and light to shadow and highlight. I felt like it gave me the whole spectrum of colours for an everday look.

I find the palette easy to use and the colours are placed quite intuitvely from light to dark.

The colours are reasonably pigmented but can be built up a bit.

I find the eyeshadow lasts all day, but if I was going out for the night I would want to reapply it because it does look well worn.

So a cheap and cheerful palette, that will do the trick, but you could find something with higher quality.

You get what you pay for

I purchased the nude pallet and over all I quite liked it. The shimmers are really nice but found the mattes no where near pigmented enough. I also didn't like that the pallet was mostly shimmers.

The mattes didn't really show up on my skin that well. It does have a nice range of colours though. There is something for everyone.

For the price point you can't really complain. It was nice that it came with a double ended brush. The packaging is cardboard, which once again is OK for the price point, plastic would have been better.

Nude

I purchased as palette as I was in need of some new items to encourage me to have a clear out. I liked that they are slim, with a mirror and have a brush and sponge in the kit. The shades are pretty with some light mate colours and some metallic looking ones aswell.

I didn't like that they tend to be flaky especially when using the brush it came with. So when using it I just do my eye make up first then foundation. I don't normally wear a lot of make up so have noticed that it tends to last long enough when I'm going out. All in all good price for what you get

LA Girl Eyeshadow Palette Beauty Brick.

I have Nudes and Ultra. I use Nudes the most as it has some really amazing natural colours.

Now the shadows are pigmented and very gorgeous but they can be a bit powdery and you can get some fall out, always tap tap your eyeshadow brush.

These palettes are beautifully presented and are easy to handle.

I really low how they are almost a dupe for a Urban Decay Palette.

They start at a light whiteish then head down to an amazing dark amethyst and dark purple bronze. Honestly you'll fall in love with the colours. Some matte and some shimmer. I love to apply neutral shades to lid and crease then add a dark colour to make a dark crease. Don't forget to blend , blend, blend.

The shadows last a good 4-5 hours , I've never reapplied but to keep the intensity you can just touch up.

I don't use the brush supplied as I prefer fluffier eyeshadow brushes. And I've never used the mirror attached to the lid as it's too small haha.

You can go wrong with La Girl Palettes. Honestly the price is awesome!!!

Tips: Tap Tap your brush :)

Eyeshadow

I bought the Nudes palette from my local Farmers as it looked really cute and it had all of the colours I want to use daily.

The packaging is sweet, a long rectangular mirror is super handy, especially for those who don't have a suitable mirror at hand.

I find that it isn't very pigmented. It is very subtle and the more bronzey shades don't have a whole lot of impact. You need to keep going over the area with colour so it shows.

It was cheap and I feel like you get what you pay for with this.

This is a great starter palette for those who are just venturing into the world of eye shadows.

LA Girl Palette

I have 1 of these eyeshadow palettes in the nude colours, but I usually only use about 4/5 colours in the palette for every day use. It ha a range of pink, brown and goldish matte colours then there are metallic colours to go with the matte shadows. As well as a dark brown/black colour.

I love this palette but I feel it is not a long lasting wear in the eyeshoadow colours, but I do use the dark brown/black to as a eyebrow filler to enhance my eyebrows which I think works really well.

The price is reasonable and I think you get a good quality product for the price you pay.

Packaging is cute and I would definitely use this product again ♥

Tips: Use the dark colours for eyebrows if your eyebrow colour is dark, but to get a good amount of eyeshadow for your lids you will need to apply at least 3 coats unless going for a very smooth natural look.

La Girl Eyeshadow Palettes

I own 2 of these palettes so that has to be saying something haha. While these are good palettes for the price they aren't great.

The shades are a mix between mattes for base and crease and sheers for ontop.

Unfortunately not the best pigmented eyeshadows :( you do need to keep going over and over the same area to build the colour up which sometimes if you don't prime the eye you will find it dulls and wears off or the colour kind of shifts around from where you've put it.

I think these would be great for a teenager that is experimenting with makeup or just starting out to get a feel of what they can do, and with so many colours in one palette there are endless options of looks too create.

I like these palettes for the base shade occasionally I'll use the sheer shades to add a pop of shimmer to my look. They are blendable but not as easy to blend as high end eyeshadows, you have to work a little harder with these shades.

Good to add to the collection

My friend sent me the Nudes palette and I really do love it! Mostly filled with shimmer shades but such a good variety. Does have a few matte shades - a couple that make great crease colours.

Not the greatest pigmentation but pretty sweet for the price.

I usually use my Too Faced natural mattes palette and then use a shade or two from this one to add a pop of shimmer on top which I find works really well!

Would be a nice palette for beginners but nice to add to the collection for anyone!

Tips: Use a matte shade as a base and blend well - even if it takes a little longer than usual!

LA Girl Nude Palette

I got these for Christmas this year, and I'm really happy with them! The eye shadow is pigmented enough that it stays on all day (I'm a waitress in a really not environment and it doesn't budge, even without primer.)

I use my own brush (one from the Body Shop) to apply and blend because the one supplied isn't ideal. It has quite a bit of fall out, which is one of the only downsides, but given the price ($13.99) it's a really, really good palette. It comes off easily (despite it's seemingly legendary staying power) and hasn't made my very sensitive skin or eyes itch!

The packaging is very basic and unattractive however, which is another negative.

LA Girl Palettes

I own the nudes palette and the smokey palette and I have to say that I am not too impressed with either of them, but with the price of them I suppose they are decent enough.

Packaging is really nice, especially with the little window so you can see the colours without having to open it, and I also liked that it has a mirror. The brush it comes with is not all that usable but I haven't found any cheap palettes that come with nice brushes.

Although there both have a good range of shades and a good ratio of shimmery to matte shades, there are only a few colours in each that I have found were very pigmented. Eyeshadow primer helps a bit but a majority of the shades are very poorly pigmented.

This is probably to be expected for the price, but I did find it disappointing as it clearly says 'majorly pigmented shades'. They are also quite powdery and not the easiest to blend. However, for the price I think they are decent.
