I am a big fan of face wipes and micellar water so when I saw these I was really keen to give them a go. I wasn't super impressed by these at all. I found them quite difficult to use and wipe on my face, they keep slipping out of my hand. I also found that it didn't get a lot of my make up off, it didn't take mascara off very well. I also wasn't a big fan of the packaging, after a few times of opening and closing it. The tab lost its stickiness and some of the wipes would then dry out.

I just saw these pop up in recently reviewed and thought I better share my thoughts!
I've been using these for a few months now. I think they're a great travel alternative to Micellar Water which I love. The big bottle is too big for travelling and I find the mini bottle doesn't have a secure enough lid - which makes wipes the next best thing!
I do think these could be more damp in the pack, but they do the job while travelling. At home I use these to pre cleanse my face and remove the top layers of makeup.
Good price point, and a nice addition to my cleansing routine.
Tips: If I'm getting to the end of the pack and they're drying out I just add a few drops of micellar water to the pack.
My daughter recommend I buy these for travelling and I'm glad I did.
These work well, the wipes are thicker than the average face wipe and are wet enough to get the job done.
I have sensitive skin, it didn't react at all, and there was no tightness after. My skin feels smooth and soft after use.
I don't wear a lot of makeup, but this removes with ease what I do wear.
Cute packaging, easy to slip in your carry on, great alternative to taking cleansers away.
Seems a bit Marmite on reviews here, people love them or they hate them - I really enjoyed these wipes.
I usually use Simple wipes but I picked these up when I couldn't find my usual wipes at the supermarket. I'm a bit of a creature of habit I suppose.
I found these suitably moist (ewww), thick and soft. They removed my smokey eye makeup and didn't irritate my eyes.
Price is pretty good, especially on during Beauty week! I tend to alternate between these and Simple now, depending on what's on special.
I'm not really a fan of face wipes. I prefer to clean my skin thoroughly and if I wear makeup, then it is always a double cleanse. Having said that, I was off for a marae stay recently and I always pack as lightly as I can in that situation. Yoi never know how good the showers will be and I try to respect the fact that most marae are in the country and don't have as easy access to water as towns do. As a fan of micellar water, I chose to purchase these. Packaging is standard. A soft pack in the colour pink with quite a good closure. The wipes are thick and large and hold the product in very well. While I felt like they cleaned my face adequately, when not wearing any make up, I have since tried them when wearing makeup and they are quite average at removing makeup. Most of my foundation came off (with two wipes), but they weren't so good at removing eye makeup. I usually only wear non waterproof mascara and eyeliner. I would still purchase for what I required them for, but would only use as a last resort in any other situation.
Tips: Hold over area of face for a few seconds before wiping.
I purchased some of these from a big bucket sale for $6.
25 in a pack so it seemed to be a pretty fair price. I was a bit skeptical about a wipe on my face as I break out or get a stingy face if I wipe my face with a baby wipe. I needed something practical to remove my makeup at the end of the day before I could actually wash it off so these made sense.
My first packet I was really happy with performance from them, removed makeup well, thicker and darker eye makeup not so much but enough till I cleansed my face. So stubborn makeup these aren't any good for. However I noticed a break out after I had finished using these and was quite dissapointed. I hadn't changed anything in my skin care regime except using these wipes so I did put it down to these. However that didn't stop buying me another packet.
My second packet I had such a different experience. My makeup was a lot harder to remove with these wipes. They were not as 'wet' as the last lot so needed a bit of elbow grease to remove the makeup on my face. I broke out almost straight away within using them. So I stopped.
These are 'gentle' on sensitive skin as I never had the stingy feeling or the redness with them but I did breakout.
I won't be using them again. They didn't work for me how I had hoped. This doesn't mean they won't work for others :)
I'm surprised at how unpopular these are, as I had a really good experience with them. I bought mine cheap in Aussie, and I probably wouldn't pay full price for them but they worked quite well for me. I wear heavy eye makeup often, and have sensitive skin, and these caused me no problems unlike other "sensitive wipes". I found them gentle but fairly effective, although I'd often need two to fully remove the makeup depending what I wore. I haven't tried the Micellar Water yet, so I should give that a try too, maybe its even better in liquid form.
Tips: If you can find them at a good price, and have sensitive skin, consider giving them a try.
I have just finished using my Garnier Micellar Cleansing Wipes and my skin feels soft and thoroughly cleansed. I got them from Countdown on special and thought I would try them for a change from my bottle of Garnier Micellar Water. The wipes are generously sized and stretchy fabric, very moist and non-irritating to my sensitive skin. Very refreshing in this hot muggy weather. Takes eye makeup off easily. My only gripe is the flap on top doesn't stick down properly after a few uses, so I put it into a zip-lock bag. After cleansing my face, I turned the wipe over and swiped up and down my arms, very refreshing.
Tips: Keep in a zip-lock bag to keep moist.
I had previously tried the Micellar Cleansing Water and liked it so was uber excited about the wipes that I had heard so much hype about. I needed to have these babies for days when out and about to keep my makeup in check.
The little pack is super cute and can fit anywhere without too much fuss. I kept mine in my glovebox out of the sun so not to get dried out in the heat. I loved the freshness seal it comes with. Some wipe packs have ridiculous resealable tabs that stop sticking after only a few uses.
I think the size of them is pretty decent which is good. I can't stand tiny wipes that require at least two to do any real impact on your makeup. The thickness is adequate so that my fingers don't wear through the wipe from the harsh rubbing.
I too agree with the two below. The wipes are very dry. They are damp at very best. It requires me to rub harder which leaves my skin red and irritated. What is the point of a makeup wipe that doesn't work when used gently!? It is a waste of my time.
I would have been satisfied even if they were refreshing to use on the face. They don't even work in that way. I found that I had to use a cleanser to remove any makeup after using them. It defeats the purpose of wipes at all if I have to use a cleanser afterwards.
They are more suited for my son. He enjoys 'tattooing' mum so uses them to wipe away excess ink. They were no use to me so I just gave them to him to enjoy, which he does.
Tips: Don't wast your time or money, they aren't even good for wiping lipstick or food off one's face
I really like these wipes. I've used a few different brands which all have had their cons but I feel this are top for me. A tiny packet of wipes that feel moist, upon opening the packet each wipe comes out moist but not saturated which I thought could be a con however when I started using them I found it to be not a problem in fact. The size of these wipes are of an average size & they are thin. The product & it's results I find that these wipes are gentle but very effective I can remove my eye makeup without causing any irratation to my eyes & I love that for removing my foundation, bronzer highlighter brow product it all comes off. I typically use 2 wipes first wipe does my forehead down to my nose then I flip it to take some of my lipstick off then the second wipe does the remainder rod my facell sometimes I'll grab another to just to clear of any excess then go in with my normal face cleaner. A wipe glides down my face & picks up my makeup with ease I'm quite impressed that Im sold on this particular item. I prefer it over the brands micellar water.
