I thought with so much hype that this would be a great toner to get rid of those nastyblackheads that flare up every now and again. However it stung on first application, thinking it was just a new product thing I stuck with it to find that it dried my skin right out, did get rid of the spots but I wouldnt use again due to its reaction making my skin break out in dry patches

Is a good product, but toner isn't really my thing. I found that it dries out my skin and I have to use lots of moisturizer anyway
Tips: Use dove cleanser and toner instead
I used this product as part of the whole Clean & Clear Advantage range. I applied it after cleansing using a cotton pad to wipe it across my skin. My skin itself can sometimes be quite sensitive, so I was suprised to see that this toner was aimed at both fighting blemishes and toning sensitive skin, as when I applied it I did find that it left my skin a feeling very dry and tight, like it had been over-stripped.
As a whole, I didn't find that the Clean & Clear Advantage Cleanser/Toner/Moisturiser made any great difference in fighting my breakouts or tightening my pores. In saying that, now that I am in my mid-twenties I am probably a fair bit older than this range's probable target market, so that may be it! I wouldn't recommend anyone with sensitive skin use this product, but if you're looking for a range to try on younger, acne-prone skin the Advantage range is very great value so it may be worth the shot.
Tips: This toner is very drying, so be sure to follow it up with the Advantage Moisturiser to help replenish the hydration your skin may have lost.
As far as toners go, you get what you pay for, & this is cheap.
It smells ok, and I can tell it's doing what it was designed to do & I like how it doesn't have that burning feel that other toners have which is super important with my sensitive skin.
It doesn't leave my skin feeling great though and my very next move is to reach for a moisture rich moisturiser.
It's not terrible though, just a cheap supermarket product, once you have had better it's very hard to go back, so I just keep it in my travel bag as a bacl up.
Clean and clear hasnt really been a good product for me as it tends to dry out my sensitive skin, this product was probably the best suite but is still an average product. It helped keep my skin clear of pimples and bumps, but didnt keep my skin hydrated unfortuanitly, did its job though
I purchased this product as part of the trial kit. I used this toner once a day usually after removing my makeup. I did find this product rather strong and harsh on my skin. I do prefer a more gentle toner.
Tips: Purchase in the trial kit to get all the products for cheaper, they are still a decent size too.
I used it for my acne and it actually helped my skin to get rid of it. I was not really assiduous with the application of my product for acne so it was almost the only product I used and it did a pretty good job.
I got one of these as part of the Clean & Clear Advantage Kit. The toner comes in a 45mL bottle, ideal for travelling. The bottle is a rather boring grey with a blue lid. (The packaging has changed from the one in the image).
This has the typical really strong chemical and alcohol scent for a toner, which I find quite nauseating. I'd like this a lot better if it had a more bearable scent.
The toner does the job, it helps minimises my pores after I've used a blackhead mask, and it's good at getting excess dirt and makeup off of my skin. This doesn't dry my skin out at all or give me any breakouts. This wasn't anything special though and didn't make my breakouts improve at all.
Overall, this is an affordable toner that does the job, but it didn't do anything special for me so I wouldn't get it again, I'd try other toners first.
This stuff works great with the foam cleanser from Clean and Clear.
I saw my skin getting clearer, and it was less oily during the day as well. I go for the oil free one, left my skin feeling fresh and clean.
I tried this toner as it said it was suitable for sensitive skin this is why I tried this .. So disappointed it dried my skin out ! I do prefer a gentler toner as it did sting as i put it on .. would not use again.
Tips: Avoid if you have dry skin!
