Lets get right to the negative, it takes off my foundation so i have this beautiful highlight which rubs off my foundation round the edges would be perfect when wearing no foundation but not really the point. I use for a borw bone highlighter above my eyeshadow though and works amazing!!

I bought this highlighter when Australis had a sale , I love highlighters and love to have a dewy/glory finish when I do my makeup. I use this two ways , I either mix a small pump with my primer and mix together and apply to my skin before foundation to give an all over glow (my favourite way of using this highlighter) , or I apply to my cheekbones, bridge of my nose and Cupid's bow to enhance my features, it has a beautiful soft glow , but I have found to be carefull applying over my makeup as it can sometimes make it move so I apply with fingers first and then blend with my beauty blender, to prevent my foundation slipping underneath. I really like the pump as it only disperses a bit at a time so no wastage happens. X
Tips: Mix with primer before foundation for an al over glow.
I had read quite a bit about this product seemed like a love or hate it scenario but i still brought it as I always hope to be a lover. For me using this as a highlight over makeup didn't work, it's the first creme highlighter I have had that actually lifted my makeup regardless of how small or large the amount was I applied. I saying that I love mixing this with a few foundations I have that are slightly too dark for me, lightens them so I can wear them and gives your skin a beautiful dewy glow.
Tips: Blend with a foundation that's too dark for you (gifts or last minute buts that just weren't the right shade). Apply to primed skin under a matte foundation if you are looking for a really dewy look.
My sister bought this for her ball last weekend, and I have been playing with it since as its the first highlighter i have ever used. I get frustrated with it because I cannot get it to apply on my cheeks without it either a) lifting my foundation right off, even when i just dab it on, or b) making me super cakey. I cannot win. Its not as glowy as I had hoped, and maybe its because i have yellow tones that it doesnt stand out on my skin, but I am disappointed. A good intro to highlighting though, but I will not be repurchasing. :(
I bought this highlighter in pearl on special from farmers, and I love it! I find it gives the perfect subtle glow to my foundation, and really brightens up any look! Its a lovely gentle shimmer, and is the perfect finishing touch for my makeup. Plus the pump means I don't waste any product :) I like to either use it as a highlighter or mix it with my foundation for an overall glowy look :)
Tips: I personally like to apply this product using my fingers and dabbing it along followed by a beauty blender to even it out
This is quite an affordable product, looks super beautiful swatched but when you put it on it doesn't really do much does show up as much as id like it to and it gets kind of sticky a little fast so you have to work quickly before it sets looked a little cakey on my foundation but I mixed in it with a bit of my foundation gave me a little glow wasn't sure though if it was my primer that made me glow or it was the highlighter I'll have to give it a few more goes :) packaging is cute though.
Tips: Work fast.
I was lucky enough to win this product in Gold, through Australis, and was so excited. The packaging itself is ok, and i like the shiney pink lid. It has the Pump applicator, which im not keen on. On first impressions i was curious as when i swatched it, it was really gold. I also noticed a smell, which i dont like, It smells like sunscreen and soap. not a good mix for me. Alas, i used it once and i really didnt like the finish and found it really hard to blend. It is also too Gold for me as a Highlighter. So i havnt used this as a Highlighter since.
Tips: What i can suggest, if you dislike this product as highlighter, I actually use this as a base for Eyeshadows when im going for the natural brown/gold look, with a bit of 'pop' It has that slight sparkle that looks great under that pretty brown smokey xx
The colour pay off from this highlighter is good but not amazing. I have been using powdered highlighters forever and was a little nervous to try a liquid one. i find it doesnt blend into my face that well it can turn a little muddy ( could just be i havent found the correct application technique) i personally think i will be sticking to my powdered highlighters but as a cheap version of high beam its worth the money.
This might be a more affordable dupe for the Benefit High Beam highlighter, but ... dare I say it, better? I love the fact it comes with a pump which is really easy to use and easy to control, so there's no product wastage and it is very hygienic. This can be mixed with your foundation for a subtle, all-over glow which I like to do when my skin is looking good (if you do it with bad skin it will just draw attention to all the flaws!) Otherwise, dab it along your cheekbones. Apply it when your foundation is still a little damp so that it doesn't pull your foundation and make it look patchy.
Tips: You get the best control if you apply with your fingers!
For me, it isn't shimmery enough! I'm used to my Mary-Lou manizer and this just isn't up to standard. I guess if you're after something subtle then this would be great but when i do a full face of make up subtle isn't exactly what I'm going for! On a positive note it applies beautifully
Tips: use your fingers to dab it to the desired area, rather than rub it in
