MAC Mineralize Skin Finish Powder Review

Use it everyday! Really good for my everyday needs. I use it to even out my skin tone, just by itself and it's all I need.

It's perfect to set my face on top of foundation, it stays all night.

I'm a long-term wearer of MAC's Studio Fix Powder + which is my go-to for powder perfection, then about a year ago I discovered MAC Mineralize Skin Finish Natural powder and it drew me in.

I had not used any of MAC's Mineralize range before but gave this a swatch instore and loved how lightweight it was. I have combination skin which is fair to medium (NW20/NC25ish) and am Medium Plus in this.

It comes in the newer powder compact with sponge and mirror in your classic black, sleek and sturdy so good for chucking in the handbag for touch-ups.

I apply this using a kabuki brush to set my foundation and love how natural and glowy it makes my skin look, The mineral formula seems just enough to set my foundation and add a little coverage without masking my skin or giving it a heavy, cakey look. My skin has previously been oily while now it's more combo so this is a good option for keeping any shine that comes through at bay without clinging to the dry patches.

This might not be the best option for girls with very oily skin as it's not overly mattifying but I would happily repurchase.

I love the lightscapade shade. Unlike other highlighters, this is not intense but gives me a natural glow. This is the highlighter that I always use on my makeup and would probably purchase again after I use it all up. I love all of the Mac mineralise range I have repurchased this highlighter in 2 different colours it is highly pigmented without looking over the top or chalky. So easy to apply without needing much. The product lasts for a very long time so it’s well worth the purchase. Easy to create a natural look with this product. Excellent quality however o do find the compact can become a little messy over time. It stays in place all day

I have this in 6 different shades and they are my absolute go to for all my make up looks. I use it alone on bare skin for a brightening glowing look, i use it on a full face of make up for a natural finish. The packaging is sturdy and easy to use. I apply with my finger or a highlight brush by lightly tapping into the product and applying to my highlight areas. The product it self is great quality, alot goes along way and there is no fall out and is very pigmented, texture us smooth and easy to apply. This lasts me a very long time and i am yet to come even close to finishing one. My favourite products in my entire collection. colour selection is great as there is something for everyones skin type and colour. Its a versatile product that can also be used as eye shadow. Price point is very affordable for the amount you get as you dont need much. Highly reccomend!

I first got put onto this by a makeup artist who used it as a bronzer. Went on soo smooth and blended well.

I decided to try it in a lighter shade to set my foundation. I don't know why I didnt do this sooner!! The finish is unreal! So smooth and lightweight. But sets faces really well and can build up without looking cakey or chalky!

Well worth a try! And bonus is it last a very long time (and I use it daily!)

I have 3 of these, lightscapade, stereo rose and a natural one in Light. I love lightscapade as a not too intense highlight and it looks lovely on paler skin. I use stereo rose as either a blush or a blush topper and it gives a nice flush to the cheeks as well as a healthy glow. My favourite however, are the mineralize skinfinish naturals. I have the colour light and I love it for setting my face as its very fine and doesn't look powdery or cake up on the face. These would get a five out of five, except I hate the clunky new packaging and the pricetag.

The packaging of this product is classic MAC, durable yet stylish. There is a good amount of product in there and lasts me a while.

It swatches well onto the brush and applies nicely! It really gives an extra boost of coverage on top of my foundation, and helps it set meaning my foundation lasts so much longer. When applied over a light BB cream/tinted moisturiser it evens out my skin tone and gives a light coverage look which can be worn casually every day.

My skin has a tendency to be quite dry, and too much powder can feel like a dessert on my skin so good hydration is key.

This is one of my favourite powders!! It is very good coverage, sometimes if I don't feel like liquid foundation I just wear some concealer on red spots and thus over top and it looks really good! it definitely does what it says it does and I will defiantly buy this again.
