Lush The Comforter Bubble Bar Review

I have always loved the look of the comforter bubble bar. With those pink and white swirls it looks so tempting. When you smell it, it adds to the temptation. I personally couldn't specifically smell blackcurrent, but I could smell a lovely sweet smell that made it even more tempting.

When using this product I divide it into 6 pieces if I can. Then I take a piece and crumble it under the running water of the bath to start getting the bubbles going. For maximum bubbles however I recommend using a spa bath and having the jets runnings. This gives you a lot of bubbles.

The bubbles lasted well and made the bathroom smell lovely and sweet.

I would repurchase based on the smell alone. In comparison to a liquid bubble bath mix it is not a cost effective option, but the smell and the use of natural ingredients when it is getting so close to your skin make it an appealing option for me.

Everything about this bubble bar is so delicious! The name matches how it feels. The aroma fills the bathroom and it really does feel comforting. When ive had a long day at work or uni this is the perfect way to relax and treat myself. The bubbles last the entirety of the bath (depending on how much of the bubble bar you use). Afterwards your skin feels so silky smooth and is lathered in the comforters scent.

The Comforter is a lovely bubble bar - I cut mine into pieces as it's far too much for one bath. Bubbles up beautifully and has a lovely sweet scent but isn't too sickly. Perfect for a chilly night :)

Yum! This smells so, so darn good. Some of the Lush products I've used in the past have hit me like a ton of bricks with their intense smells! The bubble bar always leaves my skin feeling so lovely & smooth. I also use their strawberry massage bar afterwards on my legs & arms - the two together = divine <3 Also great to crumble a little bit in the bath for a gorgeous relaxing smell that will leave you incredibly relaxed & feeling like a pampered Queen xx

Such a nice sweet vanilla smell and creates lovely bubbles. Not exactly my scent choice anymore but it is very nice. Perfect for younger girls or people who love a very sweet smell

I bought the comforter bubble bar along with a whole lot of other Lush treats at the boxing day sales.

I had seen the bar demonstrated using the sinks at lush before which was quite helpful and been told by the shop assistant that you can break the bar up and use it over multiple baths.

The bar smells amazing (like all good Lush products) which you can easily confirm by smelling a bar in a Lush shop. I appreciate this quite a lot as I find some scents really off putting.

What I wasn't expecting was how much effort using this product would require. Compared to a bath bomb where you run your bath, get the temperature right, get in, put the bomb in and enjoy, this product felt almost stressful! You need to hold it under the tap as it's running (which in my house with separate cold and hot taps means that under the hot tap your hand feels like it's burning but the under cold tap is unpleasantly frigid), you get kind of tired and sore from bending over or kneeling for 5 mins, while you are also trying get the overall bath temperature right and it feels like it takes so long that you start losing bubbles.

Overall it felt like I paid good money (this is normally $13.50) for a vaguely bubbly pink bath, which would be much easier to achieve with a regular liquid bubble bath mixture. Sorry Lush - this one misses the mark for me. But maybe I'm just lazy!

I've purchased this particular bubble bar from Lush many times. It's a good sized bar that lasts me around 3-4 baths so the price is reasonable. This is a lovely, girly bar that smells like summer berries.

This bar produces a lot of bubbles that last a long time and leaves the water a nice pink colour. I find the water also leaves my skin nice and soft instead of drying out my skin like most bubble baths.

I love to use this bubble bar with their awesome bath bombs for an amazing, relaxing soak.
