Dove Summer Glow Review

This is such a lovely moisturiser, as it blends well and it is so forgiving, especially as you can't go wrong. However, because it is so forgiving, this product tends to have very little pigmentation, so the colour does take a while to show up.

I personally think it smells amazing, and makes your body feel so smooth! Honestly there's only one product I like more, and it's the Le Tan Daily Glow moisturiser.

So, a good buy for beginners (like me) who are too scared to try self tan.

Dove Summer Glow is great for building up a gradual natural looking tan. You need a few application to get some colour showing so it's not for those wanting instant colour. It is easy to apply and smells better than a lot of fake tans. The cream is moisturising too. I would use it again. I just have to remember to put it on! Dove Summer glow is affordable & good value for money. It's available at most supermarkets too.

I love this stuff, it is great for maintaining your spray tan. It's also great if you are wanting to build up a really natural looking tan. It leaves your skin smooth and silky soft. The scent it really nice and doesn't smell like normal fake tanner smell.

It does take a bit to build up to a decent natural tan. but totally worth it if you have the patience.

I purchased Dove Summer glow a couple of weeks before a winter getaway to the Islands, so I didn't scare the locals with my beyond pale skin! I wasn't disappointed. Summer Glow was easily applied, I did it straight after my shower, glided on smoothly like a moisturiser I was careful to apply it evenly and avoiding build up on areas like elbows, ankles & knees. There wasn't an overpowering chemical smell with this either, only a slight hint of it after application but I suspect that's unavoidable with tanning products. It left my skin feeling silky smooth and the tan was a nice colouring, no oompa loompas here. I'm definitely using this again, and being available from supermarkets, and budget friendly price, it's a big hit in my books.

I really like this product. Its relatively easy to apply, and because its gradual it looks really natural as you don't get any streaks.

The products itself is a good consistency, its a cream which makes it easy to get out of the bottle and easy to apply.

It does however have a bit of an overpowering floral scent and once its on it gets that 'fake tan smell'.

It also feels very sticky once applied to the skin.

Once you have built the colour that you want, you can just apply it twice a week to maintain the colour.

I use gloves when using this as it will stain your hands.

It last quite a while, and is a good price compared to other products.

It gives a nice natural colour, only goes orange if you apply it too often.

The packaging it comes in is practical, easy to get every last drop out.

I have very pale, sensitive skin and it works great, and overall I love it :)

This product is so amazing for its price! It is not streaky or orange and adapts to your own skin colour. I have reused this product so many times and have found nothing that compares.

This product is ok for the price. To get a noticeable difference you need to apply it more than on e. The main problem is that it goes on much lighter than the shade it changes to. This means that you won't notice how badly you have applied it until it has set. Easy to wash off but can be quite streaky. The colour isn't too bad more of a gold brown than an orange.

I have used this moisturiser every winter for a few years now. Is easy to apply and leaves your skin feeling moisturised. Great colour as well. just watch it around your knees, ankles and elbows. Girlfriends who use this recognise the fragrance and will pick the smell on me :-)

I really enjoy using this product - it smells nice, is easy to apply, soaks in and leaves your skin feeling moisturised as well as tanned. Doesn't leave stains on your hands and doesnt leave streaks - a really nice natural colour and even result. The only thing I find a drawback is it does tend to leave darker results on dry or thick areas of skin - such as knees, toe knuckles, and heels/ankles. Make sure you use a good exfoliator and deep moisturiser before hand to prep these areas.
