My New Everyday Sunscreen

I received this sunscreen from the vault. I have sun damaged skin on my face, brown patches, and can be sensitive so need a good facial sunscreen. It comes in a 50ml tube with a pump top, handy for the handbag. I used a couple of pumps for my face and neck and one pump for tops of my hands. It is a white creamy formula that sinks into skin well. A very faint sunscreen scent. I apply as a base under my moisturiser and tinted serum. This is not very gel like more of a cream. Not sticky and dried almost immediately, non oily. I avoid my eye are as they are a bit sensitive. I am using a different sunscreen for the rest of my body and will keep using the La Roche-Posay for my face, the 50ml tube will last a reasonable amount of time. 50+ spf and with thermal spring water, made in France. Highly recommend for sun protection for your face.

Tips: Use on face, neck and backs of hands also.

Another winner for La Roche-Posay!!

Due to the recent long weekend I've only had a few days to trial this sunscreen but so far I'm hooked.

I've always struggled with face sunscreen, even stupidly expensive ones seem to make my face shiny cause me to breakout and have my daily makeup sliding down my face.

Not so this one!

The pump on the tube dispenses a good amount of product, which doesn't have that yucky sunscreen smell at all. The texture is great, not sticky, absorbs quickly and while it goes on white doesn't leave a white cast under makeup.

My primer and foundation sits nicely on top of the sunscreen , no piling or greasy spots.

Will definitely keep using this one, have already recommended to friends!

Tips: Use any left over product on the backs of your hands, an old tip but a goodie ;)

My new holy grail for summer

Yip this will be my new holy grail for summer. Love this as I have combination/oily skin. So many positives for this, no smell, sinks right into my skin, my face doesn't look greasy and oily like some products do, easy to apply and once it is on it really doesn't feel like you have anything on.

Yip, super impressed!!!

Excellent sunscreen

I have very oily skin and have struggled to find a sunscreen that feels good on my skin. This sunscreen feels exactly that.

I like the pump bottle packaging and found it distributed the right amount for my face easily enough. The sunscreen is thick but easily spreadable. It easily sinks into the skin and doesn't leave any residue upon it. I found my skin didn't become as oily throughout the day while wearing it, nor did I get sunburned.

If I were to mention a downside it would be that it pilled a little bit, which might not be great for someone who wears makeup. Other than that I would buy it once this tube is finished.

Emphasises dryness

I received this product as part of a trial team and was really excited to test it out on my oily skin as usually sunscreens end up an oily greasy mess. I did a little patch test which had no reaction so away I went.

I did my usual skincare (cleanser, toner, moisturiser) then followed with the sunscreen. It was very thick and difficult to spread over my face, and didn't really "rub in" like creams usually do. It did dry down to a powder-finish which is good in terms of my skins oiliness but the dots of powder were visible in my pores and the texture of it made my skin look aged. Later in the day I noticed there were dry patches around my face. I'm not completely sure if it was my skin that was dry or if it was the product flaking up but either way it wasn't nice to see or feel.

Removal with a cleanser is fine, it does seem to be otherwise resistant to water which is good if you are having a brief swim.

Over all, this product isn't for me. I didn't enjoy the powder feel on my skin and definitely didn't like the flaking that came later.

Tips: Moisturise really well before applying. The texture and finish is quite dry and might not settle well if mixed with moisturiser to apply.

The best sunscreen for every day!

I'm always looking for the perfect day-to-day facial sunscreen that a) has high SPF, b) doesn't make my skin feel greasy or break me out, and c) sits well under makeup. The La Roche-Posay Anthelios Dry Touch Sunscreen SPF50+ has all these qualities and then some! It feels remarkably lightweight on the skin, absorbs quickly, and mattifies my skin really well without feeling like I am wearing anything. It seems to help my skin stay matte during the day as well and I find that I don't need to touch up my makeup as often. I haven't had any breakouts, sensitivity or eczea flare-ups since using it so I think I will be repurchasing this product for a long time.

The only con for me is that I wish it was a sqeeze bottle rather than a pump; I prefer being able to control the amount of product I dispense, and sometimes the tube gets an air bubble and it's hard to pump product out. This isn't enough of a negative for me to mark it down though.

Tips: Use sunscreen EVERY DAY, even if it's cloudy!

Some of the best!

I have had a lot of bad experiences with sunscreen in the past, so I was a bit skeptical of La Roche-Posay Anthelios XL Anti-Shine Dry Touch Facial Sunscreen SPF50+, but I have been pleseantly surprised!

I love the 50ml size, perfect for your handbag - so I have no excuse not to always have sunscreen on hand. Even if I didn't have time to apply before I walked out the door in the morning, because it fits in my bag I can simply apply when I arrive at my destination. I found this really helpful motivation to wear sunscreen daily - which we all know we should do but sometimes ends up in the too hard basket.

I both loved and hated the packaging design. On one hand the cap and pump combo ensures there is no spillage in your bag. Big win! But on the other hand, I kept trying to squeeze the tube from the bottom before remembering it has a pump at the top that you have to press down on. Probably something I'd get used to over time but it was a bit annoying.

The product goes on white, but dries/absorbs quickly (almost too quickly!) so it feels like I need to apply quite a lot to make sure I've got good coverage. The product then mattifies leaving a soft finish and looks really good.

One of my biggest issues with sunscreen is that it eventually rubs off into my eyes and stings requiring washing off and starting again - but not this stuff! I even used the product while on holiday in Australia, and it didn't melt off or move in 35 degree heat! It lasted all day and I didnt get burnt once!

It also didn't make my skin red and angry like most other sunscreens do with regularly use. So it's passes my oily and sensitive skin test!

I highly recommend using La Roche-Posay Anthelios XL Anti-Shine Dry Touch Facial Sunscreen SPF50+ . It's some of the best sunscreen I've ever used and I will definitely be buying more!

Anti shine sunscreen

I was given the opportunity to trial this facial sunscreen. My first impression is the bottle is small so easy to fit in you our handbag. The small tube has a pump I used roughly 3 squirts for my face and neck. It says the product is a gel but it did not go on as smoothly as I would have liked it was thick and harder to spread over areas. It is non perfumed so my skin did not react to the sunscreen yay! The finish is matte once dried and it did not affect my makeup when used as a base. The price point is more expensive when googled it’s around 25-35 dollars. It’s rated as 50 plus sunscreen which is a must for daily wear on the face. I would recommend you give it a go it seems like it stays on throughout the day even while working out or just being outside in the sun.

La Roche-Posay anti-shine Facial sunscreen SPF50+

I found this very easy to use the pump action nozzle gave a nice amount of cream to spread. It spread easily over my skin and left no whiteness . I also applied foundation some days and it was satisfactory together Nice sized tube easy to hold in my hand. Since using the product I have not had any sunburn on my face and my skin feels soft . It is good to have a sunscreen safe to use on my face.

Tips: Only a small amount is needed as it spreads well.

BEST Suncreen for Oily Skin

I have oily skin and this is the best sunscreen I have ever used. It absorbs really well into the skin and does not leave my skin oily or greasy afterwards. It doesn’t have the sunscreen smell which is amazing. I use this sunscreen every day for a week, and it has been great, no breakout, acne or extra oiliness. The sunscreen is super light, it feels lovely on the skin with beautiful matt finish. It has SPF50+ which gives me great protection from the damaging sun.

Some suncreens can make you feel sticky, heavy on the skin all day, but not this one. It is more expensive than other supermarket brands but well worth it. If you have oily skin, this sunscreen is a god sent.
