Love vit c

Vitamin c has so many health effects not only for you skin but also your body. Having a mask incoperating that in is fantastic.

The diy component is super fun, me and my little ones did them together was a attraction of our girls night!

Smells great and leaves skin feeling fresh clean and smooth! I feel it gives you a glow and skin looks revived

A real Glow getter....

I love these mix-it-yourself masks. The mask is saturated in product and there's left over to use at night over a few days for some extra nourishment.

The mask itself is lovely and refreshing on the skin and afterwards and into the next day my skin looks fresher and has a healthy brightness to it. I use these 2-3 days a week and the winter dryness my skin usually endures hasn't really been an issue. Even with my BB cream/foundation my skin has a dewy, healthy look and feel to it.

These are a great price for the results - short and long term. My favourite is the hydraluronic mask - but this is a really close second.

Better than the hyaluronic acid one imo

I'm a recent convert to sheet masks, having found them very claustrophobic for years. These days, they're my go to for a bit of relaxation, especially in a hotel when I'm away for work.

The Garnier ones, I hate to say, are not my fave. I really only tried them as I got them half price in the supermarket at one stage, This one was better than the hyaluronic one (and still usable, but miles behind the competitors, in my opinion)

Not a fan of the process (seems harder than normal!) but did quite like the scent of this, a little more refreshing and relaxing somehow. The result was meh - refreshed but no real visible difference in terms of my skin, whereas others i use leave it looking immediately better.

This would be my pick from the range but to be honest, there are plenty in the same price range I'd go for first.

Fresh skin feeling

I received this as a sample in a black box after I had seen them mentioned on here and had been meaning to try for a while. I really liked the results - soft, smooth, clean, refreshed and radiant looking skin. The scent was fresh and lovely and the formula didn’t feel harsh in my skin. I wouldn’t use again though because I just don’t enjoy the sheet format and also I don’t feel good about the planet when I think of buying individually wrapped masks. Too much plastic!

Garnier’s Fresh mix Vitamin C Tissue Mask

Another nice product from Garnier. I have been long wanting to try masks with infused Vitamin C for my freckly, and sun-spot prone face. So i was very excited to hear about this trial.

I love the idea how we got to mix the mask in the serum ourselves. Pretty trendy don’t you think? The instructions were very clear and easy to follow.

Once the normal looking mask sitting the packet was fully saturated with the serum, the thick consistency and touch reminded me of agar jelly. It didn’t feel as fragile as the thiner paper masks, so it didn’t rip or over-stretch too easily to my clumsy unfolding skills. My challenge was trying to unfold the drenched mask as quickly as i could, as the extra serum does drip from the mask.

Overall, the mask felt very comfortable and relaxing, not too cool on the face, but not too warm either, but I’ll have to try this mask over winter instead of summer, just to see whether or not it will feel like an ice pack on your face if applied during the cooler seasons.

I have a small face, so i was surprised the mask fitted me so well, without too much extra mask bits i have to fold over.

I didn’t notice until afterwards that there were still a lot of left over serum in the packet, so i decided to rub it all over my arms, elbow and legs, my neck, and onto my face again, which is what i usually do with other wet masks. But beware, the hydration of this mask must be truely intensive, as i woke up the next morning with my face, arms and legs still feeling sticky of the serum. So i don’t recommend using too much extra serum on your body, especially if your masking at night before bed.

It was hard to tell straight afterwards, whether or not this mask had any effect on my face just after a one-time use, but once i washed the stickiness off my face in the next morning, my face felt soft, looked brighter, healthier and was certainly pumped with hydration. It was a nice and easy treat after a tiring day. A great treat for those with dry, dull skin.

I’m not a fan of sticky after-feel, but the stickiness is not unbearable. It was fine after i washed my face the next morning, so probably best to have wiped off the excess serum instead of putting more on. However, If it’s a product that works, despite the stickiness of the serum, I would still try it again. So i would definitely give this mask another go in the future to see if there’s any long-lasting results, but in particularly, i would like to see if the brightening affect of the vitamin C will do anything to help my freckles in the long term.

I will definitely try out their other fresh tissue mask with hyaluronic acid as well.

Tips: If you don’t like wasting excess sera, you can dab the excess serum from the packet onto your face before putting on your mask. You can also dub a little onto your neck, arms, elbows and legs, but not too much, as the serum is a little sticky itself. If you’re the type that can’t bear any stickiness, then rather of thinking of not wasting the excess serum, you’ll actually be better off wiping the excess serum off your face afterwards.

If you had a spare dry sheet mask of your own, you can also try soaking it in the excess serum, and enjoy the mask together with a friend.

Nice refreshing treat

This mask is quite quirky in that you mix it up yourself in the bag before opening. Really makes you feel like you are getting the freshest product available and I know vitamin c needs to be fresh. Im not sure if it does anything special, nice and cooling and refreshing to use however. The price point is quite standard and well below some more luxe masks. I feel like this is still really expensive for a one off thing so for that reason wouldnt buy again.

There is always one...

I tried the vitamin C shot which comes in a yellow packet. Ok so the instructions are pretty clear - They are marked on the back of the packet. Basically this comes in a sealed packet with 2 sections. The top section has the paper mask and the bottom has the liquid. You fold the packet (its like doing beginners origami) and push the liquid onto the mask whilst it is still in the packet. This is where it went all wrong for me... Problem was my packet had a slight tear which made for a messy experience. The old she'll be right attitude did not work In this instance. I ended up with half the liquid all over my hands and clothers. HOWEVER I managed to salavge some and pour it directly onto the mask. The mask was easy to apply as it seemed to stretch and mould perfectly to my face. It felt really light while on - not like other masks where it feels really heavy and you have to adjusting. The scent was subtle but pleasant. I left this on for 20 minutes (the recommended time is 15 minutes) given I lost part of the mixture. This was easy to peel off. I had a look in the mirror and my skin did have a little shine going on and did look brighter and fresher. The only thing I didn't like was a sticky feeling around my chin area. This was quick and easy to use and shouldn't be a messy experience. It is recommended this be used 3 times a week - I would love to give this a go to see how it would go with regular use.

Tips: Check the seal on the packet before starting otherwise it will get messy

Huge Shot

I have always been a face mask kinda gal but have never tried a sheet mask. This one intrigued me. I am getting more and more into a dewy look, and also trying to get my skincare down.

This sheet mask is a really fun idea, by getting you to mix it yourself, I kinda felt like a beautician. Its an easy three step process, fold, shot, and out on ya face.

There is so much serum in the packet that even after mixing, there was so much left. But it didn't drip once you had the sheet on. I left mine on for 20 minutes while watching a show. It didn't dry up or fall off which I was very impressed with. Once the 20 minutes were up, I massaged the remaining serum on my face to ensure I got all the benefits.

What was I left with? A glowing face and I was impressed! As for long term results? I would have to continue using these on a regular basis.

Tips: Highly recommend for an instant glow up! But be warned, there is LOTS of serum in the package!

Garnier fresh tissue mask

I've been looking at these for awhile been never been sure of them. The instructions on the packaging were very clear and easy to do, even my daughter wanted to help. It was easy to apply to your face, and had a pleasant smell. It wasnt what I imagined it to feel like. After trying to relax with the mask on and time to remove it my skin felt good. I think it needed this as my skjn has been feeling a bit neglected through the hotter months.

Would I buy this again? Yes I would as a treat for myself

Tips: Find a quiet space and enjoy!

Not my idea of a relaxing face mask

Initially I did like the idea of this. It is one of those face masks with the tissue face you try to line up on your face. These never cover or sit on my face comfortably so that was a turn off from the start sorry. Whilst the idea of having the mask and vitamin C shot separately, which you then combine when ready to use, was interesting I personally would rather just have the vitamin shot with out the mask. I think providing you like using those premade face masks then this will be fine for you. I didnt enjoy the physical face mask but I did like the vitamin shot. I liked the smell and texture and found my skin felt refreshed and soft after the application.

Tips: Pop in the fridge for a couple minutes before applying for a cool and refreshing mask!
