Carousel Cosmetics Perfect Eyes Brush Combo

The very first thing I noticed about these brushes were how soft they were. That being said, the bristles were very strong and did not fall out during washing. The brushes are soft enough that they don't drag the skin on the eyelid and they pick up a lot of eyeshadow and apply well will minimal fall out. Furthermore, the blending brush blends out the colours very well. The design of the brush handles are also very nice and simplistic, and easy to grip.

beginners brush set

These brushes have a very classic design with dark brown soft bristles and a black stick, they look good and feel easy to use.

The first brush was not as good at applying product as opposed to something more dense but it was good for blending out harsh lines of shadow in the crease.

The second brush that is a more rounded top was very good for gentle blending around the outer v and getting rid of harsh lines without making my eyeshadow look messy.

I think that one thing that could have been improved was a slightly more variety in size for the brushes as both are a very similar size so if you needed something for more precision you would need to buy a different brush

I think this brush set would be very good for a beginner who is starting to blend and use different eyeshadow techniques, it compares to high end brushes but the price does not reflect that as they are very affordable.

Tips: Use these brushes for blending rather than application of heavy product

Cheap and cheerful!

I recieved these brushes about a week and a half ago and I wanted to make sure I gave them enough use before I posted a review on them. However it's safe to say as soon as I ran them across the back of my hand and felt how amazingly soft they were - I knew they'd be awesome. In the pack you get a fluffy blending brushed which is pinched at the top but fluffs out towards the end to make a perfect-sized blending brush. You also get a flatter sort of a "C" brush which I'd use for patting colour onto the lid.

The two brushes are the perfect duo - especially for beginners! I don't like spending heaps on eye brushes because I find that application doesn't change much from a $10 brush to a $100 brush in the eye category so I was pleased with the price point on these. They come in a box that looks as though it would house some sparklers for Guy Fawkes night. The blending brush as I said above is the PERFECT size for my wee eyes. Sometimes I find they make blending brushes TOO fluffy and then they're a bit large and messy to work with. This one is perfect. It does a fantastic job blending and it holds a good amount of product.' The "c" brush is a little bit bigger. It's quite tall for a "c" brush and you could probably get away with using it for blending too but it also carries a good amount of product and feels gorgeous on the eye so it works well as a lid brush in my case.

Overall, I absolutely LOVE these two wee brushes and I want MORE! (mainly so I don't have to wash them as often). They're super soft, fluffy, well sized, have nice long handles(?), and they do a fantastic job with any eyeshadows. I'd 100% recommend. x

Tips: Give them a wash in cold water with some baby shampoo and let them dry before you use them - this helps them to not shed any bristles. The cold water doesn't loosen the glue as warm water does and the baby shampoo keeps them soft.

Duo carousel eyebrush

The packaging that these little eye brushes are cute and are packed individually inside their wrappers. The brushes are a sleek black design and the hair is soft yet durable. These brushes are alright to pick up eye shadow colours but if you want to enhance the colour I would recommend slightly wetting the tip of the brush to darken the colour. These are easy to clean and reuse without worrying that that hair of the brush is going to come out. If you want an affordable brush I would recommend purchasing these to all.

Tips: With the eye shadow brush pick a small amount up at a time and gradually build it up till you reach the colour you want

WOW

These brushes are amazing!! They've found a place in my personal brush set and I'll be buying more to add to my kit set! They're so soft and so fluffy and pick up colour incredibly well! The blender brush is a god send that perfectly blends out my shadow and I love how long the handles are on the brush! Fully recommend these brushes! They're Absolutely amazing!

soft brushes

I got these through the wault and I love them they are very soft and are easy to use the price is reasonably well as it does cost a lot for others, they are the best that I have used so far, make it so easier to put shadow on now instead of a cotton swab.

Carousels Brushes

For months I had been watching these brushes on Beauty Bliss. I would often go on their site to look at their carousel brushes. When I saw them added to the vault I knew I had to have them. I've never tried any products from Carousel before. This Brush set is my first experience using a brush set duo.

When my package arrieved in the mail I was keen to open it up. This brush set came in a purple long rectangular thin box. The box wasn't very sturdy. It was easily crinkled. I love this horse branding thats on the packet too.

Visually looking at them they remind me of a paint brush. The handle of the brush is black. The bristles are incased in a silver band. When I felt the bristles they felt soft . After washing them they lost their softness. The bristles are quite firmly incased. I haven't experinced any fall out so far.

When I applied my mellow eye shadow to my eyes using these brushes they get covered really well. I like how they blend out nicely over my crease. I really enjoy using these brushes. I think $15 dollars is pretty cheap for brushes that blends nicely. I use these same brushes with the eye shadow Im wearing in my profile picture. Im really happy with end results. I hope to try more carousel products in the future.

Perfect Eyes Brush Combo

I was really skeptical about using make-up brushes again as the last brushes I bought were really cheap, did an average job and the brush heads came off the sticks really easily. I got my Carousel Cosmetics brushes from the Beauty Vault and have been pleased with these brushes. They are of a high quality for their price and are shaped perfectly for precise and even eye shadow application. Good-bye shadow sponge applicators, you will not be missed.

Carousel Cosmetics Eye Brush Combo

I received these eye brushes in the vault and am in love! The bristles are very soft and fluffy, and the handle is a nice length.

I have found that because they're so soft, the bristles do fan out a little which makes it more difficult for targeted shadow application but at the same time, it also helps make blending easier. I'd also have appreciated if they printed the brush names onto the handles as they're both very similar in appearance.

The brushes are very good at picking up and holding the product without creating any messy fallout.

They came packaged in a purple cardboard sleeve and also were in individual plastic bags to protect the bristles themselves. The cardboard sleeve was fairly squashed when I received it but the brushes themselves were undamaged.

I would definitely recommend these brushes and look forward to trying other Carousel Cosmetics brushes!

The Perfect Brush Combo!

I received this brush combo in the Beauty Vault. They are so soft and new. I love that feeling!

I'm glad I picked these up as these are my first real 'blending brushes'. I felt so spoil when I got these. They are amazing quality and I have not lost a bristle yet off them. I use these daily and they are super great at blending! I love how there are no harsh lines after I blend with these brushes. They make applying eye shadow fun!

I recommend picking these up and trying them out. They are life changing brushes!
