Super pigmented

This produce is extremely high quality and pricey but you pay for what you get. Its the most pigmented eye shadow I've ever used and the colours are soft and very feminine. It's got a frosty colour to it but isn't too glittery. Great !

Tips: Easily transferrable so don't apply too much on the brush/sponge.

Fave Pair

I have this in beach plum duo, both are shimmery but just the right amount, a beige/champagne colour and a plum purple colour, these two colours together are beautifully-coordinated and the purple looks fantastic in the outer corners of your eyes Unfortunately this one has been discontinued as I can never find it in the shops anywhere.

These shadows are powdery, silky and soft with high pigment, you don't need much on, and so easy to build up the colour and they blend wonderfully together

The colour lasts all day and stays bright and vibrant, doesn't dull like some shadows do All in all, I adore my duo, as always great quality!

Every day product

I got this free in a sample when I bought some other Clinique stuff and I love it! I wear this as my everyday eyeshadow to give my eyes some subtle definition. Easy to apply and stays on all day :) Just not sure I would fork out for the full priced product when I run out

You get what you pay for

These are long wearing (even without a primer) have just the right amount of sheen to matte finish (no glitter even in the frosty metallic shades) are smooth and velvety to apply. Pricey yes, but you get a very good product for the price and you get quite a usable brush and a lovely looking compact too. My fave and the one I have repurchased twice this year is 'Day into date' I am afraid it will be discontinued so am stocking up it is the most gorgeous duo of chocolatey brown and soft beige pink which work together for a neutral day eye or smoked up with liner for a more dramatic look - so versatile!

Tips: My faves are double date (neutral taupe/beige browns), Choc kiss (matt beige pink and chocolate brown), deco-dence (pale ivory and slate brown/purpley grey) but my all time staple is 'day into date'

Tried and true

I have used Clinique eyeshadows for years and have always loved the colour ranges they have and the compact way they are presented. At the moment I am using the ivory and bronze satin duo which is a great combination for my colouring. The colour ranges seem to suit mature people my age as well as my daughters who are adults.

Cute, with staying power!

I have the 'Strawberry Fudge' pallet, which is pretty much my favourite shadow combo. I like a nice, light pink on my lids with a brown contour - it suits my colouring nicely.

The packaging is super cute - it's a nice little chrome-coloured hard case that slides open to reveal the usual application sponge.

At first glance, I thought the pallet would be exactly what I wanted - the pink is pretty and the brown, while a bit darker that I'd usually go with, is a good looking shade.

When I applied the pink I realised it wasn't actually the shade I was hoping for. It has quite a pronounced shimmer to it - gold flecks - and the pink is pretty sheer. I think I could have happily rocked this in my younger days, but these days I go more for a mat finish (NO sparkle)

That being said, it lasts for ages, and once I got past my initial "OMG SPARKLE" shock it actually wasn't too-too bad. The brown contour is good, not really much shimmer there and it does what you'd expect it to do.

Would I buy this when I run out? No. Is it a bad pallet? No. It just isn't my kettle of fish. I most likely will finish this one though, so it isn't all bad :)

Cute little duo

I have this duo in uptown downtown. I got it from a little sample pack that Clinique does a lot of (and is how I buy most of my Clinique products, this brand is expensive fullsize!). I think my duo is the same as pictured. It has a light shimmery pink and then a darker sort of purple grey.

I like the packaging of this. It's in a silver rectangular box and then you slide out the shadow. Its not too big for just a duo but if they stopped putting in those silly foam applicators, then it probably could be even smaller! The pink shadow is larger then the dark shadow which makes sense as you would end up using way more of the pink shade anyway.

The formula of these is nice. They are not dry at all and have no powdery excess. They are not super buttery but they have a nice creamy sort of quality to the shadow. I find them to have a nice pigment too. Considering how light the pink is, I wasn't expecting it to be as pigmented as it is and I love this as an all over lid colour. The purple shade (which Is matte by the way) deepens up the outer v nicely. I'm not a total fan of this shade. I guess I wish it was more purple but that's just a personal preference.

I usually add some matte colours for the crease from other palettes to mix in with this. You could totally use just the pink by itself for a one shadow look or add a tiny bit of the purple in the crease too to go really simple.

I will definitely keep using this. I don't think I would specifically go out and buy this but that is because I'm more of a bigger palette person. I would be happy as to get one in another sample pack though.

Conveniently compact

I received this in a gift pack.

The packaging is really, really nice, it's basically a mirror so you can see what you're doing if you've put this in your make-up bag to use on the go.

The pigmentation of the light pink is a little thin but it's got a hint of a shimmer in it so it does look nice and sheer.

The darker purple isn't as dark as you would think. Again, the pigmentation isn't that great but it's definitely buildable.

I use this when I'm travelling since it's just so conveniently small.

The price however, is absolutely, definitely not worth it!

Great quality

These eyeshadows are of high quality. They are highly pigmented, silky smooth texture, and come in whole array of shades. These eyeshadows are a bit soft, so a little goes a long way, and you do want to watch out for fall out.
