I recently bought this product from the supermarket and found it's alright. It's not the greatest but for someone like me who has relatively clear skin and doesn't really like wearing full make-up, it's decent enough. It doesn't really hide what few blemishes I do have and is a bit thin and greasy when I put it on. I wear it over a good moisturiser as a base for my mineral powder...my moisturiser generally prevents me from feeling the BB Cream and my mineral powder stops the greasy/shiny look that it might give my skin otherwise.
I have a combination skin type and it doesn't irritate my skin or make it look flaky like a crème might, so that's a plus. It does adjust to and brighten my dull, pale skin as well but that's about it.
It would be good as a base or for someone who doesn't like to wear full make-up but not the best overall. I would personally continue to buy it (I get the medium which is a shade darker than my skin just to add a bit of colour since I'm so pale).
For those who only like a light layer of make-up I would suggest getting it but only if you have a decent moisturiser and light powder to wear as well. It's not great by itself and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who likes fuller make-up coverage, there are better products out there for that.
Overall, it could be better.
I normally love Maybelline products but this product really let me down.
I have this one in light and I think it has cute packing which fits in with the rest of the brand well. It is easily accessible from supermarkets and online and is always on special somewhere so you don't have to pay a lot for it.
This product claims to blur imperfections, brighten, enhance and adjust to your skin tone all while keeping your skin hydrated all day. I didn't see any of these benefits.
The actual product seems to be thick when you first squeeze some out but once you apply it, it manages to be thin and greasy at the same time. It doesn't manage to cover any kind of imperfections and once I've applied all over my face, it doesn't even look like anything has been done. I can feel it though, it leaves a slightly thick, tight feeling to my skin. It doesn't feel natural anyway.
I really don't like to just chuck products out unless they make me break out or have gotten too old so I have been using this as a primer under foundation. It seems to work ok as a base.
I'm almost done with this tube, i wouldn't repurchase or recommend to anyone else.
