Not so clean

The best thing about this cleanser is the fragrance! It smells a bit like cucumber, nice and refreshing. It's also a decent size for the price - but if you're like me, you'll wish the tube was smaller so you could hurry up and get it over and done with. This was the first cream cleanser I've tried and I never will again. It just doesn't seem to work! It didn't dissolve my makeup, it definitely took more than two goes to get rid of eye-makeup, and it left my skin feeling coated and icky. I'm too broke not to finish the tube, but I'm definitely counting down to the end.

Tips: Use wipes first. Then use the cream cleanser and scrub it all off with a flannel. Or, buy anything else.

Burning sensation

I wanted to love this as an alternate for my skinfood cream cleanser. I don't have sensitive skin by a long shot but this played games with me, one use fine and the next use there was a burning sensation. Not the product response I was hoping for, I used most of the tube but this wasn't a one off reaction and I have had no issue with the moisturizers, which is why I kept using it.. That was more than a little off putting on a product.

The cream is a nice, thick, white cream in a tube with a screw top lid, flip top would have been less fiddly. The application of cream to face was normally done with fingers smearing it on and massaging it in to clear away the day. At times I felt it hadn't cleared away my makeup if I used this to remove when doing a double cleanse. It had a herby scent to my nose, not off putting but not my favourite.

For me the best part of this product is getting rid of the empty, there is no repurchase on this one.

Gentle Cleanser

I love Goodness products, they contain natural ingredients, they're made in NZ and are affordable. Unfortunately this particular product didn't quite live up to my personal preferences.

First of all I will say that the tube is a pretty good size, you get plenty of product for only $20 (look out for sales at your local supermarket though).

The product is easy to squeeze from the tube, it is very smooth and soft, and really gentle on my skin. It also smells refreshingly good.

My skin feels smooth and soft after. Unfortunately each time I use this product I have to use either makeup wipes or cotton pad and micellar water as the cleanser doesn't remove my makeup as much as I like. This has never been a problem with other cleansers. I do find that it works a bit better by removing the cleanser with a warm cloth, not rinsing.

Ok cleanser

When I saw goodness brand in countdown, first thought didn't yet anything from this brand. So I purchased cleanser. I really like the way tube took to be honest. That's it.... I didn't like anything else...lol.

Cleanser consistency is nice white creamy and smooth. I used after removed my all makeup however my skin don't feel clean and fresh. Feel like something missing. If I use for Normal face wash however does not feel clean. I tried in every angle still this cleanser doesn't make space in my heart.

If somebody gives me free however I will say no, nope

Not bad but not good

I've used the mini size of this several times as their sample kit is so handy for travelling.

This cleanser is fine, but for me I found it too thin and I didn't find that it actually did much. As it is the sister brand of Trilogy I think it just fails to compare to their cleansers so while it's not bad, it's just not what I was after. My skin doesn't really feel clean after using this.

Disappointing

I'm a huge fan of literally all the featured ingredients in this - apple, chia, coconut avocado - sounds like a concoction that can only be good, right? For me... not so much.

Goodness Évery Day Cream Cleanser comes in a gorgeous avocado-flesh green tube with a soft grey screw cap at the bottom. I have the smaller size; 20ml, which I got in a 'Try the Range' kit for about $20 at Farmers. This was enough for a good couple of weeks worth of trials, and I suspect I used too much, so I dare say the 150ml size would last ages.

The cleanser is white and quite thin. You only need to tap the tube to get it to dispense and the first time I used it I squeezed and ended up with heaps in my hand. The cleanser has a strongly herbal smell - unexpectedly, to me it smells mostly of fresh parsley. It's not an offensive scent but I don't personally like it as much as other cleansers I use/have used.

I have to say, I'm not a huge cream cleanser user at the best of times, but I had an open mind trying this one out as I really wanted to love it.

Unfortunately, I don't. I found it didn't remove my makeup very well at all and I needed micellar water or makeup remover both before and after using this to make sure my face was clean. It took quite a bit of rinsing to get the product totally off my face (admittedly this may have been down to me using too much as well) and I could still smell it afterwards.

Positives - I didn't break out using this, and my face felt nice once it was fully rinsed and dried - no drying/tightening of skin etc. I also like that it's from a NZ company.

Unfortunately, because this product fdoes not meet my makeup removal/cleanser all in one needs, and I'm not a fan of the scent, it won't be repurchased - but I can see the spot in the market for it and so it still may well work for you, especially if you're not a big makeup wearer or you are a fan of natural cream cleansers.

Tips: Pick up the sample box if you can because you get to try the cleanser, lotion, scrub, oil and night cream for around the cost of one single full-sized unit.

I think it's totally reasonable to expect (in these times!) that a cleanser takes makeup off as well as cleans your face, so to find one that does neither particularly well isn't ideal haha!

Its a shame this cleanser didn't really do the job, i often find cleansers can be hit or miss! Maybe the ones i have tried arent made for removing the thick layer of eyeshadow i wear somedays haha

hmmmm

Only been using it for 3 days and nights, not impressed with it at all. Skin has flared up so stopped using. My son used it and said it left a burning feeling on his skin. My hubby is using it and loves it, this has not been a good purchase for me

beautiful, but not for me

I picked up this cleanser as part of Goodness' travel kit for my trip to Vietnam back in 2016. While Vietnam was incredible, I can't say I had the same feelings towards this cleanser despite the reviews that I read for it.

Let's start from my first impressions - Goodness' design is impeccable. They have a fluidity throughout all of their products which creates a cohesive brand. The packaging for the cleanser is simple and beautiful, a soft green tube with a silver lid. Perfect for getting every last bit of product out.

The smell of the cleanser, although probably not everyones cup of tea, is natural and soothing. It's reminiscent of freshly cut grass and, strangely, waterfalls.

And that is where my love of the product ends. The cleanser itself, to me, the actual product was thin, watery and left my skin with a film on it. My skin did not feel clean and fresh after using it, I felt like I needed to double (or even triple) cleanse to feel like I was getting anywhere with cleaning my skin.

Use twice to remove makeup

I have tried quite a few cleansers, in the bid to remove makeup and have fresh feeling, cleansed skin - but the Goodness everyday cream cleanser didn't work for me. It does say on the tube, use twice after a big night out (or something along those lines), so that was a sure sign that's its more suited to people who don't wear eye makeup or only have a very light covering. It's very creamy, and feels nice on your skin, but not suited for removing mascara or hard to budge lipstick

Tips: Use if you don't wear much makeup, and it should work just fine.

Not too sure about this...

I love Goodness products and was on the hunt for a good cleanser that I could use with my clarasonic that wasn't a foaming cleanser.

This product is great value for money and its great that it is all natural. The product does have a funny smell I feel like it smells like grass or something which is a bit weird.

I always use this after removing my makeup and place it on my clarasonic to get that final deep clean.

It doesnt dry out your skin which is typical of cream cleansers and it does leave your skin feeling nice and refreshed. I do like the product but I just feel like it wasn't high up their on the list. I will continue my search for a perfect cleanser.
