Lush Ro's Argan Body Conditioner A rose by any other name would smell as sweet. Ro knows good rose and her nose knows it! Use like a hair conditioner, simply shower as normal and then apply all over the body, rinse off and pat dry.

A beautiful, rose jam scented body conditioner that’s full of the most emollient, moisturisingingredients possible to feed and nourish the skin. There’s cypress oil, capuacu butter, Brazil nut oil, cocoa butter, shea butter and super softening almond oil, along with Argan oil of course, which is rich in vitamin E and incredibly moisturising and soothing on the skin. There’s also a touch of spring water to cool the skin down. The 20% glycerine locks in all this moisture, leaving your skin soft, smooth, supple and the fragrance leaves you delicately scented like a rose bush being kissed by the first rays of morning sun.

Too strongly scented

So I brought the lots of love gift set from lush and inside this box of 7 gorgeous goodies was Ro's Argan body conditioner I was so excited because I have read the great reviews And it was on my Wishlist to buy anyway. But I'm not really fussed I'm sorry just hear me out...

The conditioner itself is lovely thick creamy consistency and you want to just smother your whole body in this tan coloured cream.

The scent however is just way too extreme for my liking. It is very rose scented it was quite sickly rose I know a lot of people will love that but I'm more slightly scented gal not a full on rose/floral but I know each to their own and I know a lot of people that love the stronger rose scent will love it BUT if you are like me and don't like the extreme rose or floral scent it might pay to try something else.

So just like the Nivea in shower body conditioner (which I love) you wash yourself then apply the conditioner and wash off and pat dry. I find this quite waxy or oily when I wash this off and find it takes longer to absorb. However once dry my skin does feel amazing!! super super soft and very moisturised. And the rose scent lasts all day I did find it clash with my perfume. I really love how moisturising this is and how great my skin feels after using it just wish it was a slightly mutual scent

Tips: Try to sample or smell it before you buy it if you don't like strong scents

Well worth the money

Yes it's a little on the pricey size, but I finally splashed out and treat myself after trialing a sample size. I've had this tub for just under 6 months now, and although I don't use it religiously everyday, I'm still less than half-way through!! It has been VERY cost effective so far. I love the tub/pottle it comes in, and as a bonus if you bring in 5 back into a Lush store they will give you a face mask :) Now..about the product itself. A little goes a long way (obviously!).. The consistency is creamy and smooth, spreads easily and absorbs into the skin leaving it feeling so silky and fresh after it's washed off. The smell is amazing and out of this world, I've never smelt anything like it - it's not "rosey" as such (well, not my idea of rose probably due to all the other horrible artificial rose scents out there), it's almost like a floral mixed with sweet honey scent that is not overpowering. Whenever I wear it I get compliments on how good I smell! I will put it on in my morning shower, and still feel the benefits from how supple it makes my skin even after I shower at night time. Will definitely be buying this again once it finally decides to run out!

Yet another Fab Lush product

This is one of the few products i have got to try from lush (I don't have a local) and I have to say it is pretty fab

After i wash with the Saltana soap by Lush i condition my body with this. It smells like heaven

remember a little goes a long way and it pays to wash it off as you are leaving the shower so the moisture and smell stays

If you do it first then it will all be washed away during the shower and your skin doesn't feel as moisturised

I only got the small sample bottle of this but that has lasted me forever even.

This product is definitely on my repurchase list.. when i can afford it as it seems quite pricey.. But it's definitely worth the price as the massive tub would last months!!

Best. Smell. Ever.

I LOVE this stuff. It smells like pure happiness. It's averagely sweet but fresh at the same time. You are supposed to use it in the shower after you wash yourself and then rinse, hop out and pat yourself dry. The scent lasts on my skin for a good 6-8 hours after my shower and it makes my skin feel so silky soft. I absolutely love this and will be repurchasing!

Tips: Make sure you smell it in store. Smells are so personal!

Lush Ro's Argan Body Conditioner

Its not often I give a product 5 stars all round, but I love, love, love this product. In all areas, except for the price! I first heard about this on the forum, and at Christmas I got a Lush gift box, with a small pot of the Ro's Argan conditioner in it. Well from the first use , I was sold. I love the gentle Rose smell, and it seems to form a barrier on your skin, which is moisturising and just amazing. I have dry skin and I didn't need to apply more moisturiser , as I have with other body conditioners. Its just a superior product, that really works. It saves time, as when you get out of the shower, you are all ready to get dressed and you can skip the moisturising step. The lady in Lush advised me that I could also use it as a shaving cream, however I love it too much to use it for that! This is one of my favourite discoveries of 2014!

Lush & Luxurious

The first time I tried this product was in a Lush Shop, where a lovely girl who worked at the shop gave me a little demonstration of how this product worked, using my hand to test the product out.. And wow. My hand felt so smooth and soft and amazing. Then I saw the price of this product, and knew it was a lot of money for a product that literally got washed down the drain. So it was lucky that I received this product as a gift.

This product. Well its lush.. not as in the store, but as in luxurious. In comes in a black container, like a lot of the lush products, which is handy because not water gets into it, so I feel happy leaving this in the shower!

The body conditioner is a pinky-beige colour, but very pale and soft and looks just like a thick moisturizer at first glance. It has a lovely consistency; it feels like a nourishing rich cream, which really is thick and creamy with a slight sheen to it! It also has a soft delicate rose scent to it, which normally I’m not a fan of, but I really liked the scent within this product.

I find a small dollop of this is enough to cover most my body, and the richness of this cream means I know a little product is enough to do the job, so I don’t have to smother myself in this conditioner. I leave it on for a few minutes (if I can wait that long) before rinsing off. And here is what comes next. I love this stuff. I can actually hope straight out of the shower and do whatever I want to do, without worrying about moisturizing my skin. My skin has no dry patches (which is usually does), but instead actually feels like it has just been moisturized. My skin feels healthy, smooth and has a rich moisturised feel to it which actually lasts!

I love this product, and would love to buy it again but $40 is a lot of money for something that just goes down the drain, especially when money is a bit tight at the moment. I would consider buying this on special though, so I’ll keep my eyes peeled for the next lush sale.

Tips: If this product sounds good, but a little out of your price range, try Nivea’s Body Conditioner. It is similar, but in my opinion not quite as effective or luxurious (but it is ¼ of the price).

Worth Every Penny.

If you have dry skin (like me), you need this. Argan Oil is a product that is amazing fr dry skin - I use a pure oil on my face as part of my skincare routine. When I spotted this in Lush I decided to give it a go.

Although the directions are to rinse this off, I actually use it as a body moisturiser. Even though it leaves your skin feeling hydrated when you follow the directions - using it as a moisturiser really nourises and hydrates my awfully dry skin.

The packaging is typical of all Lush packaging. The scent of this is beautiful, it reminds me a lot of their Rose Jam body wash. The scent is quite strong s if you aren't into heavily perfumed products then you may want to skip this. Even though I am not a fan of rose scented products, this is delicious - it is a more sweet rose smell as opposed to a grandma kind of rose smell.

A little of this goes a long way and the cream is quite thick. When using it both according to the directions and as a moisturiser it is absorbed into the skin and leaves you feeling smooth and hydrated.

This is a must have product in the winter for my super dry skin and I definitely recommend you give it a go.

oh man I was wondering if you could use this as a moisturiser! I got this as a gift and thought it was a moisturiser for ages until I looked it up on the website... I might give it a go both in the shower and on dry skin :)

Heavenly!

I bought the Elf's Workshop gift from Lush at Christmas and this was one of the incredible treats inside it.

It wasn't full sized, only 45 ml but it was still a lot. The first of two problems I have with it is that I used it up in two uses. So it's about 20ml per bath/shower which will amount to ten uses for a whole container.

I seriously do not know where the Rose Jam scent in this is, because I only smell the overpowering scent of brazil nut - which to be honest, I really love! I had a bath with this 5 hours ago and I can still smell the brazil nut as if I just applied it.

If you've used the Nivea In-Shower Body Lotion - this is exactly the same! Just a slightly thicker consistency, a bit messier because it's in a pot and not a bottle and it smells so much better.

This is exceptionally good for my dry skin, and if I use this I can go up to a week without applying any other cream/body lotion/body butter etc.

The second problem I have with this is that when you wash it off it doesn't really come off and you can feel a bit oily for a few minutes until it has absorbed fully into your skin. It doesn't come off on your towel, but it takes a while to absorb.

I would buy this purely because of the smell, but not for everyday use. I'd buy it as a treat, yes.
