Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation Review

This foundation IS on the costly side, but, there's a reason for it. Perfect coverage, SPF included, no surprise colours at the end of the day. I can't thank Estee enough for creating this fabulous product. Honestly...invest!

I cannot rave enough about this foundation and recommend it to everyone! Great coverage, great colours and great lasting power! I wore double wear while at a wedding in Rarotonga and my foundation stayed beautiful all day!

I only got this the other day but I absolutely love it, it doesn't smudge or change color you dont even need a setting powder, i find that when photographed the foundation looks alot whiter than in person, so i wouldnt recommend this for evenings (because of lighting) or for photos

I find this foundation amazing and I have been using it since I was 17 (6 years). I have well and truly tested this product and I find it stays on really well and gives you that flawless professional finish that you see in all of the magazine's. I love a full coverage and this foundation goes above and beyond. This is the only foundation that hasn't moved and creased a lot when I've been out at night. Highly recommend this for all of you people who love a flawless finish.

At first I wasn't sure if I liked this foundation. I had a play around with it and fell in love with it. Its probably one of the best foundations (apart from one other) that actually does it what it says. Gives great coverage, doesn't feel cakey or heavy. Unfortunately I always seem to find the products I really like are really expensive.

This foundation has quickly become my go-to for nights out and special occasions. I have actually been complimented on my foundation quite a few times while wearing this out.

I really like it because it's full coverage but doesn't break me out, and doesn't look cakey or powdery or at all heavy, even in the harshest of light.

The colour I have matches me perfectly and I've only ever heard great things about it :)

My 2nd favourite foundation, i love the coverage & how a little goes a long way, the downfall i have is when i reapply it later during the day you can see the colors dont match up leaving my skin looking patchy (unlike mac pro long), other than that if i dont need to reapply after a busy day it is great

Estee Lauder Double Wear stays exactly where you put it without smudging, budging or sweating off from humidity.

This is my favorite go to foundation when i need to wear something thats going to last the entire day and night. It goes on smooth and lasts all day and night just like it promises. Being fair skinned it can be hard for me to find a foundation that works well with my skin tone and this one does.It is the only foundation I have found that give me a flawless finish. I have some pigmentation and it covers them very well without concealer. This doesn't make me breakout and looks and feels great.

A little bit really goes a long way and a whole bottle will last me months and months. I dont wear it on my entire face daily as i do find that my skin starts to dry out, so its more an "occasion" foundation, however i do use it daily on my nose as thats the area of my face that looses foundation the quickest. I set my foundation with my Dr Hauschka setting powder, which helps it to last even longer and gives a great finish.

The downside is: it's expensive at $80.00 NZ a bottle and it doesn't come with a pump which would be nice. But since I love it so much, I will continue to buy it when i run out.

I personally think there are better long wear foundations out there. I have been trying a sample of this over the past few days and my skin has broken out in huge pimples around my neck and nose. Thanks goodness I asked to have a tester to use before I purchased it. However I did fine that it stayed on and didn't appear to wear off like some other foundations, there certainly was no need for me to use a primer which I always use with my colour stay, but can't say that the colour stay wouldn't stay on without a primer either (I have just always used one).

This is hands down the BEST foundation I have ever used! I got a ten day supply a year or so ago and was so impressed with how long it lasted and how little I needed to apply! It blends so well into my skin, and I don't need to touch my makeup up at all! Is worth the $80 especially if you purchase it from Farmers and get Club card points. Mine lasts me about 4-5 months :)
