Would You Try Brow Printing?

Brows should be sisters not twins.

How many times have you heard the above saying, then rolled your eyes because your brows are cousins at best and complete strangers at worst? What if you could get them to sister status without splashing out a small fortune on microblading or spending hours every day plucking and filling and creating the illusion of hairs with three different brow products? Well, L'Oréal have come up with a solution. Introducing, the Brow Magic printer.

So what does it do? How does it work? And can it really print your best brows ever onto your face?

In a nutshell, L'Oréal Brow Magic is being promoted as a tool that can give you the look of natural, precise microbladed brows - ones you can achieve by yourself in the comfort of your own home. Developed with tech company Prinker, it uses an app and an advanced augmented brow reader to scan your face. Based on what it sees, it comes up with different brows options to suit your face, keeping in mind thickness, shape and effect.

After deciding on your preferred brow look, you simply bring the tool up to your face, then sweep it across your brows. During this time thousands of tiny nozzles and technology work together to literally print your brows onto your face. After that, all you have to do is apply a top coat to lock those brows in.

The result based on this video had me convinced. The brows applied by the L'Oréal Brow Printer looked natural, fluffy, were in keeping with the models skin tone and hair colour, and they literally took SECONDS to create.

As for price point and release, all the information we have is that it'll be coming out sometime during 2023. Hopefully for our brow-loving beauties it makes its way down to New Zealand!

So, is L'Oréal Brow Magic something that interests you? Will you be rushing out to buy it? Or is this a little high brow for you? Chat below!

Not for me, but cool gadget!

2nd February, 2023

This is so cool! I never thought something like this would exist! Definitely would try!!

Just wow! I’ll be lining up to get this when it releases. I love having well defined brows and currently use 2 different brow products. I get the feeling this might be a fairly $$$$ tool.

As I have aged, my once dark brow colour has reverted back to my blonde colour at birth and the hairs are very fine and basically non-existent. It is not a good feeling when people I work with see me without makeup in the supermarket and don't recognise me and tell me, "You don't have any eyebrows!" as they come up to my face to see if I actually have eyebrows. This device would give me back my confidence and give me a quick application without trying to match up each brow and forever trying to find the perfect product to use. Technology is amazing...

I'd love to try it. My brows suffer from my thyroid issues and I'd be keen to try anything to make them look fuller and thicker at the ends.

Cant wait to try one of these. For someone who paint their brows every single day this would be absolutely perfect for me.

This sounds amazing! I hope it's as good as it sounds!

Totally would want to try this out. Aging means losing your eyebrows, sad but true. I had my tattooed about 5 years ago and that was fab for around 3 years but now they have faded back to non existent again and I can't really afford to get them re tattooed this time. So this little device could be a god sent.

I'm intrigued! Sounds idiot-proof (great for me!) and super fast to use, which is a biggie. I'd definitely want to test it on myself before shelling out for it though, as I imagine it's pretty pricey.

Oh definitely would try this how exciting!

Keen as toast on this!!!

Definitely putting this on my radar! My eyebrows are less distant cousins and more random strangers plastered across my face! I’ve almost given up on them so something like this would make a huge difference in helping with my face symmetry lol

28th January, 2023

That’s very interesting. I don’t know if I fully trust it though. I need to see it for myself

I would love to give this a go - I don't have the coordination when looking in the mirror to figure out where my brows need filling to look the same! I always seem to make them look wonky

I understand what you are going through and how it makes you feel. This device is made for people like us! I haven't tried tattooed brows, oh the pain...
