One of the big trends of 2015 is set to be dewy skin - that's skin with a healthy shine, that looks hydrated and healthy. Dewy is the skin of youth - and who doesn't want that?
The first thought of many is that a highlighter pen is akin to a concealer, but this isn't the case. They're an illuminator - use them on areas that are dark / shadowed for brighter skin. They're perfect for those that suffer with dark circles and a fantastic addition to your contouring routine. (Have you master contouring yet?!)
Tip - even if your highlighter pen boasts concealing properties, don't use them to attempt to cover things you want to hide, like a blemish or spot. The light reflecting particles will draw attention to it, and you don't want everyone looking at Mount Vesuvius do you?!
Now YSL definitely have the iconic highlighter pen, the very fancy soundingTouche Eclat but many other brands have fantastic highlighter pens of their own, so there's an option for all budgets.
