Do you regularly use a multi-purpose balm?

As some of you may know a lot of products come through BRHQ.  A LOT.  There are three things a courier can deliver that guarantee an interested Natalie .  Primer.  Nude lipstick.  And a multi-purpose balm.  WELL, earlier this week, not only was I interested, I was bordering on petty theft.

You see not only was there a multi-purpose balm in Monday's delivery - there was a natural multi-purpose balm.  Not a petro-chem in sight! And then, as though being a blend of beautiful oils, butters and extracts wasn't enough - it's packed full of the most magical NZ ingredient of them all.  Manuka Honey!

So you now understand my near-miss with a life of crime.  This product just ticks so many boxes for Nat.  I need to try it.

We're looking for reviewers to put the Wild Ferns Manuka Honey 80+ Here, There and Everywhere Balm to the test.

This is an intensive soothing balm formulated with premium certified Manuka Honey 80+ - scientifically proven to deliver antioxidants, proteins, vitamins and minerals that protect, nourish and heal the skin.

This 100% natural balm uses Clove Oil, Manuka Oil, Calendula and Chamomile to heal and soothe irritations, while a rich blend of Papaya, Mango and Shea Butters combine with moisturising Grape Seed and Rosehip Oils for a supremely nourishing and protective balm.  It also contains Sweet Almond Oil, Bees Wax, Aloe Vera, Royal Jelly.

Now one of the coolest things about Kiwi brand Wild Ferns (other than the cruelty-free and environmentally-friendly packaging!) is that the Manuka Honey used is guaranteed to contain at least 80% Manuka Pollen.  The products also feature formulas containing more ingredients from nature and a more natural preservative system.

Now if you're new to multi-purpose balms you're probably thinking, 'how do I use it?' .  And to thee I say, 'Let me count the ways'.  Use to:

  • soften dry cracked skin
  • condition lips
  • soften cuticles
  • soothe and heal insect bites
  • replenish sun-damaged skin
  • lock in moisture after a shower
  • soothe post-shaving irritation
  • to treat eczema and psoriasis

...and so many other ways!

So, hands up - who wants to take this gorgeous Kiwi product out for a spin?  What would you use it for?  And what other things do you use a multi-purpose balm for?

This sounds wonderful. I always keep a multi-purpose balm in my handbag, but I haven’t tried this one. It sounds like a winner!

I have a pottle of multi purpose balm beside my bed, I use it often, however I am sure it is full of petro- chems, and to be honest, it is probably not cruelty free, either. I also bring this jar out when the kids have bumps and the dreaded 'itchy bites', for me it's dry cracked heels, sandpaper elbows, and to smooth the rough cuticles I can have. I love the idea of a NZ made one, with all natural ingredients, I wonder if the Manuka Honey is really as good as what people say? It really does sound like a far better natural alternative to one filled with chemical nasties.

I would! I haven't used a multipurpose balm before but it's sounds very useful, and the honey ingredient sounds so healing! I would be interested in using this on my legs after shaving.

Oh it does sound good Thanks for the list for uses for balms a couple I didn't think of using it for x

i tend to use Trilogy Everything Balm or Black Robin No Harm Balm - but Wild Ferns stuff is lovely and anything with Manuka is worth a go! Heading in to summer I'd try it on heels, post-waxing and on sunbun - possibly even a little on my hair to tame it down

This looks like the perfect product for me!! I get really bad dry lips and have cracked, dry patches on my hands. I get quite bad dry skin on my face too, along with general dryness everywhere else. I love natural products and I've never tried a multipurpose balm! I have used products with manuka honey though and I love it

Who doesn’t love the power of Manuka Honey? I have the Trilogy balm, it reminds me of the old Rawleighs salve in that it useful for a multitude of ailments. I mostly use it for insect bites, it takes away the itch and soothes the redness and swelling. I would love to try another brand as I’m nearing the end of my Trilogy pot. I had not thought to use it as a cuticle softener so will definitely give that a go.

This sounds like something you would carry in your handbag. An absolute fix all in one easy pot. Oh, I would love to trial this, and manuka honey, oh honey it dosent get better than that.

Ooh this seems super convenient and suitable for so many things!

I would love to try this! I have trialed other products from this brand and would love to see how this compares! Me and my partner both get eczema so I would love to see how this goes with that. I also get quite dry feet so am wondering how well it could work on that sort of dry skin? And post-shave rash, ahhh what a relief something natural like this would be for that!!

I used to SWEAR by multi-purpose balms but I haven't used one in ages. This makes me think I should start getting back into them as I have just recently developed stress eczema and dry lips so would definitely like to try a product that could help! Also, I never knew you could use the balm on razor irritation, genius!

Would love to try this on!

I would love for my husband to try it. He suffers from psoriasis. Has tried lots of lotions, ointments & creams but nothing has worked so far. If this product claims to treat psoriasis, he could put it to test And if it works, hallelujah!!

16th November, 2017

I don't use a multi-purpose balm, but I would love to try this. I want to try this on my lips and cracked heels

16th November, 2017

I usually take a multi balm travelling, so I can use it for cleansing and moisturizing. I love all the oils they contain. I usually use Goodness or Trilogy. I haven't tried this one.
