Do you regularly use a multi-purpose balm?

As some of you may know a lot of products come through BRHQ.  A LOT.  There are three things a courier can deliver that guarantee an interested Natalie .  Primer.  Nude lipstick.  And a multi-purpose balm.  WELL, earlier this week, not only was I interested, I was bordering on petty theft.

You see not only was there a multi-purpose balm in Monday's delivery - there was a natural multi-purpose balm.  Not a petro-chem in sight! And then, as though being a blend of beautiful oils, butters and extracts wasn't enough - it's packed full of the most magical NZ ingredient of them all.  Manuka Honey!

So you now understand my near-miss with a life of crime.  This product just ticks so many boxes for Nat.  I need to try it.

We're looking for reviewers to put the Wild Ferns Manuka Honey 80+ Here, There and Everywhere Balm to the test.

This is an intensive soothing balm formulated with premium certified Manuka Honey 80+ - scientifically proven to deliver antioxidants, proteins, vitamins and minerals that protect, nourish and heal the skin.

This 100% natural balm uses Clove Oil, Manuka Oil, Calendula and Chamomile to heal and soothe irritations, while a rich blend of Papaya, Mango and Shea Butters combine with moisturising Grape Seed and Rosehip Oils for a supremely nourishing and protective balm.  It also contains Sweet Almond Oil, Bees Wax, Aloe Vera, Royal Jelly.

Now one of the coolest things about Kiwi brand Wild Ferns (other than the cruelty-free and environmentally-friendly packaging!) is that the Manuka Honey used is guaranteed to contain at least 80% Manuka Pollen.  The products also feature formulas containing more ingredients from nature and a more natural preservative system.

Now if you're new to multi-purpose balms you're probably thinking, 'how do I use it?' .  And to thee I say, 'Let me count the ways'.  Use to:

  • soften dry cracked skin
  • condition lips
  • soften cuticles
  • soothe and heal insect bites
  • replenish sun-damaged skin
  • lock in moisture after a shower
  • soothe post-shaving irritation
  • to treat eczema and psoriasis

...and so many other ways!

So, hands up - who wants to take this gorgeous Kiwi product out for a spin?  What would you use it for?  And what other things do you use a multi-purpose balm for?

Uhhh where can I buy this? I feel like it's missing from my life! I didn't even know multi purpose balms were a thing! I get horrific red patches when I get bitten by insects, I now have eczema on my hands (thanks to having a baby...), and everything else happens every now and again. I. need. THIS.

I would love to try this! I would use it for softening and conditioning my lips, softening dry skin patches (especially elbows), and healing insect bites and rashes. I also find multi-purpose balms good for keepng unruly eyebrows in place and I also use it a lot in winter under my nose to prevent tissue rash!

I haven't tried a multi purpose balm but love the fact that one product can be used for so many different purposes!

Would love to try this on my dry skin. I struggle to keep my skin moisturized. This sounds great for feet to to get them summer ready.

I have used on balm in the past and really like them but I haven't found one that I can use on my lips too so have my arm up for sure to give this one a try, a real manuka honey fan here.

I would love to put the Wild Ferns Manuka Honey 80+ Here, There and Everywhere Balm to the test! I am an avid seeker of products for my dry lips and also for patches of eczema. Loving the other ideas for application listed and to put them to the test also! :)

I have never used a multi purpose balm before. Would love to trial it and find out all the benefits. It seems it would be much more convenient especially for travelling and short trips. Thanks.

I don't have a natural multi purpose balm in my collection, and I really need one! Especially coming into summer, I'm already dealing with dry lips, sunburn (oops!), dry cuticles, and insect bites. Plus I'm very intrigued as my partner has psoriasis and I have eczema so I would be very keen to try it for that reason alone.

Yes please! I have perpetually dry skin and lips from medication I'm on so I'm constantly applying layers of Sukin paw paw ointment (I prefer it to Lucas's because they don't use petro-chems either), moisturisers, oils, and almond butter. I've tried the Trilogy everything balm which my partner swears by but I just can't stand the scent, so I'd love another option!

If I deem it safe I would try it on my 1yr old I think she has a touch of eczema. I would use it on my lips they are super cracked. I would try on my stretch marks perhaps it may even help with nappy rash. I have very dry heals on my feet so it could be worth a try there too and on anything itchy. My hand is up!

I would try this on my eczema, lips, body moisturizer and to tame browse bin a bit fan of Elizabeth Arden 8 hour cream, but I'd love to try a petroleum free and kiwi made option. I've tried everything balm and an antipodies balm so it works be interesting to see how it stacks up.

Wow, this Wold Fern''s multi purpose balm sounds like a magical product. I could definitely put this to good use. My cuticles and dry cracked skin would be benefiting from some special treatment.

Sounds great! My sister actually makes her own natural, organic all purpose balm and it's awesome!!!

20th November, 2017

I feel like I'm definitely missing out! Never used a multi purpose balm but the idea of being able to use one product so many ways is great! I do have quite dry skin in certain areas and working in retail dries my cuticles out heaps so it'd be so nice to see if this would help that at all!
