Two new beauty trends have come to our attention over the last couple of months and we're having trouble deciding which we love more. The first trend is marble lips - and no it's not the act of gluing marbles to your lips or anything OTT like that - it's creating a marbled effect on your lips, and the result is stunning. The other trend is geode nails - basically painting a crystal-esque look onto your fingernails, and some of those designs have left us awestruck. So anyway, we were doing 'if you had to pick your favourite' in the office over the other day... and, well, we couldn't decide which we preferred if we had to choose one - geode or marble? So we thought we'd show you some of our favourite images and get your opinion.
Batter up... Geode Nails!!
Would you look at that? It's rich, sumptuous, and I couldn't do it in a bazillion years. And we love how you can do a single geode feature nail, or rock the look on all your tips.
Not only can the geode nail be as full on in style as you'd like, but it can be a gorgeous simple design too - one we think anyone could achieve!
And then you get this kind of geode nail - and it's fresh, yet sophisticated - and again totally achievable. Hellloooooo fluttery heart.
Right, so that's that for the geodes... Marble Lips, you're up!
Okay, so marble lips aren't as wearable as geode nails. But they're so cool! And interesting to look at!
And while the majority of looks perhaps aren't work-okay (depending on where you work of course) some of them actually could totally be rocked.
And doesn't this look so luxe? Luxe-alicious! Saaaa-woooooooooon!
