We are huge fans of pastel hair here at BRHQ. And we know loads of you are too. Oh yes there are many mermaids, unicorns and MLPs among our members.
Using pastel shades is a really cool way to go from drab to fab without the worry of being 'too bold' or creating a major hair boo-boo. It's fun. It's quirky. It's girly. It's awesome. It's whatever you want it to be, because when it comes to pastel hair there is no right or wrong. You can opt for a quick rinse of colour, leaving just the hint of pastel-y pigment, or you can go for a deeper pastel hue. You could pastel your whole head, dip dye or ombre your ends, add splices or if you're feeling adventurous, you could go for a multi-tonal pastel rainbow effect.
We're putting the brand new (like, really, really brand new) Schwarzkopf Live Colour Pastel Sprays to the test. These temporary colour sprays add a twist of pastel colour to blonde hair.
Wait, what? A colour spray you say? Is it hard to use? Is it messy? Does it work?!
The ready-to-use spray has built-in pastel pigments that give your blonde hair an instant soft pastel hue. The formula is LEAVE-IN (no way right?!), which means you simple spray on to towel-dried or dry hair, blot the excess product with some paper towel and blow dry.
And it's gone in just 3 washes, making it super cool for those of you who have to stick to employer's rules about unnatural hair colours!
We're looking for 50 members to take a spray out for a whirl, in one of five shades:
- Apricot Sunrise
- Cotton Candy
- Icy Blue
- Mint Green
Now this product works best on blonde or prelightened hair - and brassy or yellow tones will affect the end result. So we're looking for blondes only for this one.

Is this the trial for you? What do you think of the idea of spray in, leave in, colour? What colour would you choose?
Get chatting below and don't forget - if it's not the trial for you, share it with a friend who might be interested!
I would love to! Sadly the pastel shades won't work with my olive skin tone.
