With the imminent arrival of the new seasons of Vikings and Game of Thrones it's time to brace ourselves for an influx of Pinterest and YouTube tutorials. These two shows have done what a few years ago would have seemed impossible. They've brought back the braid. And they've made braiding cool.

But a simple three ply braid isn't going to cut it. We're talking intricate designs and an infinite number of strands to keep track of. It's not for the even ever-so-slightly un-co person to attempt. The image above links to one girl's attempts at recreating classic Game of Thrones hairstyles - short of having the arms of an octopus and eyes at the back of one's head, this looks impossible to do on on yourself!
So what's a girl to do when she wants to rock a complex braid do, but lacks the skills? If said girl is London based she can pop into BR Natalie's most favourite place, Selfridges and head to the latest pop-up counter, The Braid Bar.
There's for ten quid (about $20) you can select your desired do from the Braid Menu and a braid technician will put her incredibly dextrous fingers to work, creating a work of art on your head.
BRHQ have fallen in love with the idea of The Braid Bar, which got us to thinking - if Braid Bars were to pop up in say, your local Farmers or maybe your favourite clothing outlet, would it tempt you to get braided?
Get chatting below, and you never know, a Braid Bar could be popping up near you in the future!
I love it - I'd love long hair and a hairdresser. The braided styles on 'Reign' are to die for!!!
