L'Oréal Paris ELVIVE Fibralogy Shampoo Review

This shampoo smells nice and lathers up nicely. Having used a range of shampoos before, it sits about in the middle in terms of quality. It's not harsh, but it's not that nourishing either. I do feel like my hair is thicker after using this with the conditioner - however it's hard to tell how much was the shampoo and how much was the conditioner, as I generally don't apply shampoo to all of my hair. All in all, reasonably good. Good enough to use again if there wasn't anything else I prioritised for my hair.

I normally have thick Asian hair but due to some heavy bleaching, my hair now feels thin and damaged and easily broken. This shampoo did help with that in restoring the thickness. The turquoise colour is not the best if you're looking to match it with your bathroom interior, however it was easy to use. A little went a long way and I found that maybe 2 50c coins worth was all you needed. The shampoo smelt good-not too chemical but not overly fragrant either. When applied to hair, I found that it was a bit harsh and it stripped almost all the oils off. That being said, when used in conjunction with the conditioner, it was no longer a problem. After use, my hair did look slightly fuller and I felt that it was heavier. All in all- a pretty good product.

I thought that this shampoo was very simple to apply and it smells real good! The size of the product is of good value and would last a few months. I don't wash my hair everyday and it cleans my hair thoroughly. However I didn't notice any significant differences to using this product compared to other shampoos giving the same results.

The first thing I noticed with this shampoo is the stunning colour of the bottle, it looks great and makes a pretty edition to my shower collection, my only concern with the packaging is that the lids seem to fill with water so you need to be careful when transferring between showers or into your overnight bag, other than that you get a great amount of product for a very competitive price. The next thing that struck me about the product was it's smell which was much too strong and perfume smelling for me, I don't like my shampoo competing with my perfume and this very much did. I would be more inclined to use it again if the smell was more subtle. The shampoo itself is a nice consistency and not a lot is needed to get a great foamy lather. It cleaned my hair really well allowing me to maintain my 3 day wash cycle. I tried using this shampoo a couple of different ways - one wash then condition, two washes then condition, and the reverse technique condition then wash and they all left my hair feeling great but I don't think there was much benefit to a double wash which made my hair feel a bit stripped. I have fine straight hair but a lot of it and it did feel as though I have more volume the first day which is a huge plus as my hair is normally weighed down by its length (just skimming my lower back) however I don't think it retained this thickness which was my hope and I didn't notice increased thickness with every wash. I would still purchase the product for the look and feel it gave my hair straight after washing but perhaps it would be better for someone who washes every day or every second day.

I am a hairdresser and thought I'd give this a go but was not very impressed with it as there was no added volume at all. It smelt nice but that was it. I used it every 2nd-3rd day and nothing, I thought it might of been a gradual thickening but that didn't happen either. Was not impressed with this product at all.

I don't wash my hair often. For a few reasons. 1, I'm lazy. 2, I have a purple ombre and I'm in a constant state of trying to keep the purple dream alive and not have it wash out. 3, I hate how my clean hair sits and feels. But I love this shampoo! Granted I've only used it about 3 times since receiving it. But I love it so far! My hair doesn't feel super clean when I wash it with this shampoo. That sounds weird. But what I mean is it has texture to it, it DOES feel thicker. It doesn't feel dirty, but it's also not all soft and slippery like usual when I wash my hair. So I do really enjoy this shampoo and will definitely repurchase it.

I had my doubts when i first saw the adverts for this on the TV. I didnt believe a shampoo could provide volume without weighing your hair down, but amazingly, L'Oréal Paris ELVIVE Fibralogy Shampoo does! It has a great scent, although I can't place exactly what it smells like, it makes me feel like my hair is clean and smells gorgeous! After about 2 weeks of using it i noticed a difference in how full my hair felt, it has definitely given it more "va-va-voom!"

SO the thought of having thicker hair is something i have always dreamed of! As soon as i used the shampoo i could tell that in order to make it seem thicker it leaves and film of some sort on your hair. As im prone to oilyness it just wasnt good for my hair. Although my husband loved it! said it made his hair feel awesome. My hair was extremely oilly by the end of the day and it kind of weighd it down also.

Found product lovely to use, didn't have to use as often as other shampoo, left hair feeling lovely.

Delicious smelling, thick consistency, and easily applied, this shampoo comes in brightly coloured, typical shampoo packaging. It definitely does what is says it does. From the very first wash, my hair felt thicker and had a lot more body to it. The down side is that there is a little frizz, and my hair felt as though it was a little 'gluggy' with product. I could last 3 days before I needed to wash it again, but by the end of a day it was hard to get a brush through it. Competitively priced and I would definitely recommend it to friends who have thin, wispy, fly-away hair. Thank you BR for the opportunity ☺
