L'Oréal Paris ELVIVE Fibralogy Shampoo Review

I loved trying this product and was surprised with the results I have got. My hair feels not only thicker but healthier as well ! I've tried other products that just didn't do the trick ! I will have to keep buying this product as I know its going to give me the results I'm truly looking for ! I love the smell, look and feel of this product and think its great ! I would say my hair is 40% thicker then it was before I started using it !

I used this shampoo (and matching conditioner) solidly for three weeks. I even threw in the serum for good measure.

I love the colour of the packaging. The vibrant green and pink really stand out for me. But let's face it, you don't choose a shampoo based on the colour of the bottle do you?

The range has a really 'clean' smell to it, so I know my hair will at least smell good! It also feels very clean.

But as for promises of thicker hair, well, my hair is pretty darn fine, so if anyone would notice it, I would. And to be fair, my hair is still fine and flyaway. There doesn't appear to be any extra thickness or volume. And only using the serum for styling, I didn't get any volume staying power either.

This is a really nice shampoo but I wouldn't pay the extra hoping for thicker, tumbling tresses any time soon.

Firstly, the packaging for this is fabulous! It comes in a 250ml squeezable bottle, which is a vibrant turquoise colour. Very aesthetically pleasing!

The texture of this shampoo is a little thicker than I expected but seems to lather well and you only need a small amount.

The smell of this is just lovely, and like the conditioner has an expensive hair salon smell to it (I am sure you will all know what I mean).

The shampoo seemed to make my hair feel soft straight away and after I blow dried (in conjunction with the conditioner) it looked noticeably more shiny. I have been testing this product for a month now and I have to be honest and say I have not noticed it getting thicker but I do feel my hair feels in better condition.

I feel like overall this is a lovely shampoo and worth spending a little bit extra on.

I was super excited to participate in this trial as I have very thin, straight, flat hair. This combo of shampoo and conditioner seemed like the perfect remedy!! The packaging is nice looking and easy to use. It has a nice scent that lingers. However, I don't think my hair is any thicker!! The shampoo works to clean my hair, but I just don't think it's any thicker. Maybe I am just destined for flat thin hair forever :(

I was slightly apprehensive to begin with this product. I didn't think that by just changing my shampoo I would see any improvement, so I'm glad that I was somewhat wrong.

The shampoo did what it said, not amazingly so, but I wouldn't expect it to. After the first wash I noticed that my hair was thicker than I'm use to and amazingly soft. Wow the softness! That alone would keep me on this brand (and I do intend to keep using this) but the fact that my hair was thicker was a great addition! Even just running it through my fingers I feel the difference.

I'm also hugely motivated by smell, so the pleasant scent of this shampoo has kept me attracted to the product.

Overall it does what it says on the bottle, not mainly so but it is noticeable and definitely an improvement, and so far my most favorite shampoo I've used!

I have used hair thickening products in the past as I have thin hair & not much of it... This is a good product to try as it is not as expensive as the others. In saying that I haven't rated it as a 'must have'. Packaging is good & I like how the conditioner bottle is packaged the other way up, & I loved the smell of it. I did feel that it thickened my hair though it felt a bit like cotton wool after rinsing. I definitely wouldn't use it without the conditioner. (See my other review) For me personally I would use this once a week but stick to my colour protect shampoo & conditioner for the other washes. I would recommend it to other people to try as it is less expensive than other brands & they may get a great result. See review for conditioner for more comments.

I was very excited to get into the trial team for this shampoo as it sounded like exactly what I have been waiting for for a long time. I have very straight, long hair, and nothing I have ever tried has been able to give it more volume. I am not absolutely certain that the Fibralogy shampoo actually made my hair thicker, but it definitely made it look more "alive" than it used to. I am really pleased with the result, and would definitely recommend it to anyone with hair that's similar to mine. I have used the shampoo together with the Fibralogy conditioner so I am not sure what the effect of the shampoo alone would be, but I will definitely keep using it!

I have quite fine, oily hair and I found this shampoo worked well for me. It smelled nice and cleaned well without completely stripping all my hair's natural oils. I thought perhaps my hair was a little thicker after using it but I wouldn't buy it again for this purpose.

I really loved this shampoo and its accompanying conditioner really helped its effect along.

The smell is a sweet smell, slightly floral but mostly sweet, so that was a nice bonus. The bottle is also a nice sleek looking design.

I found this very cleansing. I have a fringe, and people with fringes will know that this needs regular deep washes (sometimes two lathers!) to avoid the oily look. One lather was more than enough, so I could tell it did a really good job of removing oils.

I've been using it for a month and I think my hair is slightly thicker...I can't really tell. It's not too kind on the scalp, which is getting a slight bit of dandruff, but the hair strands do feel healthier and stronger, so I have mixed feelings on their promises. Hair is stronger and thicker, but there's not much improvement in terms of shine and the irritating of the skin on the scalp is unfortunate. I do have sensitive skin though.

Overall, I did love it. The nourishing cleansing coupled with an easy scent is a great combination, although it is a bit pricier than some other shampoos at the supermarket!

I'm not sure how I feel about this. It makes my hair so much thicker and soft which is what it is supposed to do which is great but it also makes my hair really tangly. It smells devine. You only need the smallest amount to wash your hair with a little goes a long way which makes the product last that much longer.
