Shades of tan

I was reading some reviews on different fake tans recently and I noticed a few people who had very fair skin were using the dark fake tan instead of the light/medium. So I was wondering if anyone had tried this and what results they got?

Yep! I'm as translucent as they come but I always choose the darkest shade available. It just produces a good, natural coloured tan, it doesn't actually turn you 'dark'. I think the light/medium tan shades are for people who really just want a subtle tint to their skin, it provides more of a sheen of colour, as opposed to a full on tan...if that makes sense.
