This product was a bit more on the pricey side and especially as it’s such a small amount. But it for sure surpassed all of my expectations. The sunscreen itself is not at all sticky as some sunscreens are and leaves the perfect glow that lasts all day. It also didn’t break me out

Tips: Remember to reapply throughout the day!!
First thing, I love the brand La Roche Posay because their products are just amazing and it does the job. This sunscreen is so light weight and it doesn't leave any white cast. Once you applied it, it absorbs quickly and just blends nicely with the other skincare products that you used.
Tips: Use it everyday, it's essential :)
Recently I ran out of my favourite Joyce Blok sunscreen, and I had been annoyed with that for a while as it is a bit big for travelling.
I like the packaging in particular as it is nice and compact. Easy to squeeze to get product out. In particular I like that the nozzle is quite small so heaps of product doesn’t come out too much at once.
The product itself is quite liquidy so it does spread over the skin nicely. It does smell a wee bit, but at least it sinks in fast so the smell dissapears as well. I also adore that this is SPF50+ as well as being both UVA and UVB coverage. Perfect for my extra pale skin.
Only downside for this is a small tube, so it is certainly only for the face and not your body. This isn’t enough to stop me using this as I already have a fav spray on sunscreen for the body, and I plan on repurchasing.
So I really liked that this was more of a milk lotion and not a cream. It mean it didn't feel sticky at all once it was on which is one of my main issues with sunscreen. It felt super light and I slapped my make up on the top with no issue at all. Didn't seem to impact my make up in a negative way at all. So in terms of texture and ease of use, 10 out of 10! I also liked the nozzle which is came out of which made it really easy to use sparingly.
So negatives for me were only two. The first was the packaging is ugly - it looks very clinical and not like a beauty product - I suppose that makes it feel expensive and professional? The next thing for me was the smell on application - overwhelming alcohol/ethanol smell when it comes out the bottle. It doesn't last but it's definitely there when applying it. I wonder if it's due to being for sensitive skin that they haven't tried to hide this with perfume.
Tips: You only need a little bit - it goes a long way.
Okay, get your seatbelts on! This product totally amazed me. I’m sensitive to every single sunscreen I’ve ever tried. EVERY. SINGLE. ONE. I break out and have tried everything. So I could only wear it for short periods of time until I had to fully wash my face to avoid a face full of gross invaders. Using this one, I really wanted to put it to the test. I got it and expected it to be a creamy type. So I saw the bottle and was like “wow this is small. Are we sure it’s full size?!” I put some in my hand and immediately it all became clear. It was really thin and liquidy and when I applied it took hardly any to do the job. Hence, the smaller bottle. I was impressed. Then I noticed that I didn’t have any of that oily greasy look/feeling you get a lot of times with sunscreens. I noticed it made my skin also feel extra soft and I was really happy with that. I applied makeup over top a couple of times and my foundation looked even better! That was a awesome bonus. I wore it alone a couple of times and took it outside to work up a sweat. There’s no way it would withstand that. WEEEEELLLLL. It did! I used it for awhile to be sure and nope. No breakouts. IN YOUR FACE STUBBORN SKIN! (Pun intended) I feel quite victorious to have finally ended a long vicious war and defeated my drama queen skin and will obviously be continuing to purchase this product. WOO!
Tips: If you’ve been in battle with your skin for years and are tired of being laughed at by your own skin. Pull out this secret weapon and turn those tables right around!
I am really impressed with this ugh it does have a “sunscreeny” odor it is not offensive and not overwhelming. The consistency is very thin and does tend to separate a touch and I would suggest giving it a good shake before opening. I quite often react or break out with sunscreen on my face but I had no issues with this at all. The product sat nicely under my makeup and I actually used it instead of a primer or moisturiser and it held up well. Though summer has not quite hit yet I am very fair and burn basically at the sight of sun but this was lovely to use and worked well in the lead up to summer. The packaging is very clean and crisp, thought the bottle is very small. I do think a little will go a long way however so this should last you a season at which point you would probably want to buy a new bottle any. One small gripe is that I could not easily find an expiry date on this which when it comes to sunscreen is important. On further inspection there is an expiry indicator but it means downloading a QRcode scanning app and scanning said code before being able to determine the expiry. On attempting to scan the code it was also too small to even be able to read it. Saving grace is that there is an expiry on the box however you would have to keep the box which is also impractical.
Tips: Give It a good shake before you use it, and be careful as the product tends to overflow the top of the tube.
I don't really have much to say about this product. Good or bad. I used it for about a week. It's a good sunscreen I guess. I liked the fact that it doesn't have that usual sunscreen smell and that it doesn't seem to sit on top of the skin. The packaging annoys me because its so runny that way more comes out when you use it than you actually want or need, so there wastage.
Tips: Watch out while applying this because it's very runny and more comes out than you need
I have a few sun spots so have been using the Sun Sense Daily Face SPF50+ for a while, but after a few days I am an absolute convert to the Posay SPF50+. It goes on super light, isn't at all greasy and when it dries makes my face feel beautiful, soft, primed and makeup ready.
I think the only thing that would make this better would be if it was lightly tinted, but that is just me wanting to save time in the mornings.
Luckily we have had a good run of weather including over the weekend to give this sunscreen a try. It did protect me from burning, however it is still spring so hard to know fully how well it protects against harsh NZ summer sun.
It comes in a small, very clinical looking, container. At first I was surprised how small it is as I am used to huge bottles. But I now see the benefit of being able to have it in my purse at all times.
The consistency is very thin and easy to apply so doesn't require a lot (so should last a while). It doesn't have that thick sticky feel of normal sunscreens, which is good especially for the face to prevent breakouts. It is fragrance free and doesn't smell like normal sunscreen but it is not scent free. It has a clinical medically type smell.
Because it is so thin it comes out very quickly and comes out of the bottle as soon as top is off (though this may stop once it is not so full). So be careful not to waste too much.
Downsides is that it isn't waterproof or sweatproof so probably better used when just hanging outside rather than at the beach or while exercising.
Tips: Pays to shake bottle first to prevent the cream from separating.
This is the first sunscreen I’ve found that doesn’t melt into my eyes and make me look like a grease ball. Stays on for hours and works great. It’s quite runny so a lot goes a long way, but it is quite expensive. Its also non comedogenic so no clogging pores
