I found this product to be OK, however it didn't seem to remove as much of the eye make up and mascara as I would have liked. For the price I def think there are better products out there to use. Have been using Elizabeth Arden eye make up remover which came in a kit I brought ages ago and has lasted for so long.
So these worked fine removed most of my eye make up but struggled with waterproof mascara. Good for travelling as I wasn't lugging around yet another bottle with spill potential. But then I blinked (like didn't use them for a week or two) and they were dry and useless.
I bought these about a month ago, the price was very reasonable for 30 removal pads. (Just under $4 from Pak n Save).
The size of the packaging is very handy, you can easily keep a pack of these just about anywhere.
I did find though that the actual material used for the pad can be quite rough on my skin, and in terms of eye make up removal these did not really work the best for me.
I did find these eye pads being not so different to any other makeup remover. I have sensitive skin so I like to ensure that im using quality trusted products for my skin, these were okay but I felt the texture of the pad being abit harsh for my eyes.
I received these in a combination discount-rate pack at my pharmacy. I probably would have also purchased these on their own accord if I had not known how terrible they would be. They are a very rough feeling and leave my eyelids feeling scratched. Plus they do not remove every last drop of makeup and in fact smudge quite a lot of it. The only redeeming factor would be the natural pleasant smell. I would not purchase them or recommend them.
Tips: If you do have these, try holding the pad to your eye for a few minutes before wiping. The soaking of the remover onto the makeup helps remove it, but still only slightly.
Only good thing is that theyre convenient, can just keep in your hand bag. It took more than a few wipes to get my eye make up off, then ended up just irritating my eyes and skin- so I wouldn't recommend for someone who has quite sensitive skin, especially around the eyes like me.
It does do what is says by removing the eye makeup, however for me it actually was too abrasive and left me with slight rashing around the delicate eye area
I have only brought these once, and once is enough. I was on a tight budget and this were in special, so I got these. Even for eye make up removal I had to use 2. Might be the eye makeup I use. If on a budget these ate great. However, I would opt for slightly better quality.
Tips: Great travel size or in a busy environment.
I got these while i was away for a few nights and didnt want to take my full routine things with me. I found it took a long time to take mascara off and felt like i need to use 2 to get all my foundation off. I ended up using the cleansing wipes after using 1 pad. Its ok it you dont have anything else but i probably wouldn't buy again unless i really needed to. A little disappointed as i had heard and read the brand is good.
