Stila One Step Correct

I brought this in australia because i had heard great things about it, but it did nothing for me at all it didnt do what it said it would (even out skin tone) and didnt find it made my foundation sit any better. I am really dissapointed in this product but it may work better on a more normal to dry skin as i have quite oily skin

This is one of my favourite primers. I think the only downside is the price - I can't always afford the high end stuff! This primer was super hydrating which I just LOVED. I love that it really truly was one step - hydrating, multi colour correcting and of course - priming, it really did keep my foundation on longer. The packaging is great too, the pump never fails and you don't waste any! Highly recommend!

I love this primer!! It has really great neutralizing properties and it is also very moisturizing. Keeps my makeup looking great and glowing all day :) Definitely worth the money

My skin looks fab after applying this primer, it really tames my red cheeks and brightens my complexion. My skin is dry/combination and prone to breakouts especially with silicon based primers. I haven't broken out with this product. It works especially well with a dewy fresh face finish and keeps my makeup looking good for the day. I've actually used just this and a powder as I like the way my skin looks. The packaging distributes just the perfect amount of product per pump and you also get every drop from the tube so no wastage.

I purchased this after reading great reviews, as I wanted to counteract the redness around my blemishes as well as reducing the redness in my cheeks. The texture of this primer is quite nice, it somehow smoothes the texture of your skin whilst still providing a bit of hydration. I would liken the texture to another primer I own (Fusion beauty antiageing primer) which I also enjoy the texture of. I think in terms of helping my makeup, it ensures my makeup glides on easier and lasts longer on my skin (in the same manner as the aforementioned fusion beauty primer).

The reason I am rating this product so low is because I purchased this primarily for its colour correcting properties. I found this had no effect in this regard, it didn't take down any redness in my cheeks at all. In fact I would say that my elf colour correcting primer was more effective in this respect. I also didn't find that it brighten my skintone at all.

While this is a nice primer and I will continue to use it (especially as it cost me a bomb), it simply does not offer the colour correcting properties that I purchased it for. At that price I would much rather repurchase the fusion beauty primer.

I absolutely love this primer. I was given some in a tester to use under Nars sheer glow and it is amazing! It reduces my redness and uneven skin tone. I find it enhances the glow foundations give my skin almost as a natural highlighter. It reduces the time of my make up routine significantly. I swear by this primer.

Firstly, this is the primer for dry skin! I don't hear a lot about Stila as a brand, but when I was at Mecca the salesperson recommended this and after trying it had to have it.

This primer is different to any primers I've tried in the past. It's colour correcting, so it's a rainbow mix of 3 different colors. Very funky to look at. My skin can be slightly red in areas and it does work to slightly counteract the redness. But, the most important thing about this primer is it really does make my skin have the perfect base for my foundation.

I find the texture is so nice, and applies so smoothly to my skin. What I love about this is it just locks in moisture to my dry skin, better than other primers I've used in the past. It's just so moisturizing.

My skin can be reactive and sensitive, but this product is just perfect for my skin type.

After using this primer it absorbs well into my skin and really makes a difference to evening out my skin tone, so my makeup goes on well. It makes my foundation last longer, so it's a definite must for me.

It has surpassed other primers that's for sure! (Goodbye Smashbox..) I can't wait to try more Stila products. This one is a winner.

I've noticed as my skin ages that I have developed areas of darkness with the faint start of red areas beside my nose. Never really worried too much but started to notice I was getting heavy handed with the concealer so wanted to add in a light colour corrector and seeing that this also is a primer it works as a double duty product which gets a massive tick for me, I am all for lesser build up of products on the face as it makes for the less likely event of caking.

Coming in a clear acrylic casing with a black lid and pump dispenser, it is fun to see how they have produced the 3 unique shades that are going to blend together on your face to blur out all those little imperfections that you want hidden. The green, lavender and peach shaded cream sit inside the clear container in a swirled fashion which makes this such an attractive piece of makeup to look at. Each colour has it's own part to play in achieving that flawless face.

The cream itself is very light and easily, quickly absorbs into your skin so you can just keep cracking on with your makeup application. There is a slight tackiness which you want with primers as they act like glue for your foundation. After using this primer a couple of times I have noticed that i don't reach for the concealer nearly as much as I used too.

Lasts all day and keeps your makeup fast and strong until the evening. Its a miracle in a bottle!!

After hearing and reading so much hype over this product I had to get it to try and reduce my redness, and brighten my skin, which can get quite dull.

The packaging is good. Plastic tube, with a pump, and a really pretty helix thing going on inside. It's great for travelling with - no cracks, no spills.

The product itself has no discernible scent, which I liked. It applied lightly and easily to my skin and didn't take long to settle - also a bonus. However having nearly finished off a whole tube of it I can honestly say I didn't see any diminishing of redness or brightening of skin. My skin remained the same after each application.

That being said, I did enjoy this as a primer. My foundation goes on easily and doesn't go patchy or wear off quickly. Unfortunately that's not enough for me to warrant buying another one at the price point this product is at.
