So after many many reviews and advice from various BR dolls to use rosehip oil, I went out and bought it. I was scared because I have very sensitive skin - but I thought, hey, its trilogy and I normally always trust them. After the first day I used it, I was terrified that I would wake up to an outbreak - but I woke up with my skin feeling hydrated and supple, so I put some more on and went to work (I don't wear makeup at work) and it felt the exact same way, it didn't feel as though my pores were clogged up, nor did it have an oily after feel (after it dissolved into your skin). I kept using it, and have no outbreaks (taps on wood) and it has made my skin feel and look so much healthier! The only reason I didn't give it 5 kisses for "would you use it again" is that I got hooked on rosehip oil and I love trying out other brands

I was a bit wary of this as I have a tendency to break out if I use oils - but this works so well ! Especially in winter - any dry flaky patches just disappear overnight. It has a fairly strong smell - definitely not perfumed - but I rather like that, it makes it feel like it's working even better somehow. I use it around my eyes every night, and while I can't say whether or not it's anti-ageing, it definitely keeps the skin there moisturised and cared for. Love this product.
I first purchased this in my last year of high school (eek 10 years ago) and loved it and for some reason stopped using it and end up finding it my paint box smelling like oil paint so thought i should get some more which i did and i had completely forgot how amazing it is. i have had trouble finding a face moisturiser that agrees with my skin and this is perfect for me. i am not using it for scars or anything just to keep it hydrated, and it is great for sensitive skin. Although while is oil it does absorb well into the skin and have had no issues with putting it on before bed
Tips: Looks a little bottle but it goes a long way you only need a couple drops
I got this as part of a mini trial pack of all things Trilogy... and I did go on to purchase full size version of their products. This being one of them, I did get the night cream as well but that has been relegated to back up/ travel.. This oil... love it!!! I use it before bed on my face. Zero breakouts and awesome skin the next day. not to mention the lovely smell, oh and i'm getting asked for ID again at 31!!! who would have guessed? :)
Trilogy Rosehip Oil is the BOMB!
Would not be without this amazing pick me up in my beauty routine. It does help to keep your skin supple where needed & assist with diminishing the appearance of fine lines & wrinkles. It's not overly expensive & a little goes a long way so it last's forever (even the smaller size bottle). I found it particularly great as a night time oil to rub in to where I needed it most. It can be used & mixed with other products as part of your beauty routine.
Tips: As it's a pure oil it does tend to have that pure oil smell that pure oils have so be careful not to get on your clothing as the only way to get pure oil out of clothing once it's gone rank in there is to boil it out of your clothes. Therefore use very sparingly as a little of this product does go a long long way & if you use too much it will take a long time to absorb...plus you don't want to look like a grease monkey...
I loved this oil on my very dry skin, it absorbed quickly and made my face feel soothed and moisturised, slightly more expensive than just the rosehip oil and I didn't really notice a difference with the antioxidants
i love oils and i am quite fond of the trilogy age proof coq10 oil, it just... does it for me. but i got a sample of this with my last order and thought hey why not and used it.
its a beautiful golden color with a very natural scent. a bit floral but not over powering. i use 3-4 drops and find thats enough for my face.
glides on easily but i have noticed it doesnt absorb as well so i tend to use this at night so i dont have to put up with a too greasy face. using less makes me feel like im pulling my skin and i dont like that!
its never made me breakout and in actual fact its made my skin look clearer. and its really great for the lips too! i heart it big time. probably wouldn't buy a bottle any time soon but i have enough samples left to last a bit ;-)
it was good, but I've found there are definatly better products which I've worked with professionally. I would recommend it to clients of mine if they were seeking something cheaper, which still gives good results.
Tips: Use it max twice a week as a serum under your night cream. It isn't nourishing or hydrating enough to use alone, it's designed to be a booster for your beauty regime, not to replace moisturisers. Also, two or three drops is enough for your for your face and neck, over use of any oil will lead to congestion in the pores.
I loved this product - it left my skin so soft! You definitely only need to use a few drops which is great because it'll last for a long time. I've been using it at night instead of a moisturiser. Overall, I really liked it as it was gentle on my skin and left it feeling softer.
This oil is incredible! Whenever I get patches of dry skin i make sure to use a drop or two of this oil before I pop on my night cream. I only use this oil at night as my skin gets too oily during the day and can clog my pores and cause breakouts. After using this oil for a month or so I have began to notice a more evened out skin tone and a glowing complexion, which is hard for me to achieve considering I have super oily skin. Love, love, love this.
