Aveeno Daily Moisturising Lotion Review

I recently purchased a bottle of this because I was in need of a new moisturiser, and honestly will never go back to using any others! I have quite dry skin and this has been the most amazing thing coming into summer!

I use it all over my body, and I saw results within 2-3 days of using it! It feels very light and non-greasy on the skin, but does a great job at keeping my skin soft and smooth! I also like the fact that it does not have a fragrance and has no "nastys" that may irritate my skin, and that overpower my fragrances.

I bought a bottle of this to try on my hands in the winter - my eczema plays up something chronic then, and I need to keep my skin moisturised. I didn't expect too much from it, but from the first time I applied it I loved it. It felt light enough to soak into my skin quickly, yet heavy enough to really feel like it was giving me lots of moisture. I wouldn't use it on my face unless I had nothing else, it leaves a bit of a residue feeling, but for body it is brilliant! I use it everywhere now and haven't had trouble with my eczema so far.

I recently tried this product and thought it was pretty good. I usually moisturize my face and body at least once a day but did feel this was superior to my normal moisturizer. I wouldn't use it on my face, it's pretty thick and does leave a residue and makes your skin feel firm which I would worry could upset my skin with every day use. It also definitely does have a noticable oatmealy fragrance, it's not unpleasant but it's also not great, although it doesn't really linger on your skin so I can get over it. I did notice a difference in my skin straight away when I applied this moisturizer, it absorbs really well into hands/legs etc. and instantly makes your skin feel silkier. I would definitely consider buying this product again once my current moisturizer runs out.

First of all I must say for anyone other than people with dry skin on their face, I wouldn't use this on my face again. It smells kinda odd and I don't like putting odd smelling things on my face. It's not necessarily a bad smell, just weird. Also it doesn't sink into the skin the way I would want a face moisturizer to do. It leaves a sticky film behind.

On the other end of the spectrum, for a body moisturizer this stuff is SO NICE. If you can get over the smell I honestly think it's such an affordable option. I like to use this on my legs after shaving and then anywhere I have dry patches. Even on my feet! Leave it overnight and you wake up with the softest skin. Also those dry patches pretty much disappear - which is especially good for people who like to use fake tan.

I have really dry skin on my legs and arms and this is my go to product especially in the summer. It is super moisturising, and it works! It soaks in and doesn't leave a greasy feeling, but it still leaves your skin feeling moisturised. I like that it has no fragrance, so it doesn't compete with my perfumes, but helps them last longer, as perfume lasts more on moisturised skin apparently! I love the price, its so reasonable and available at the supermarket so I can pop it in my food shopping, and no one is any the wiser. I like the pump, so you can hygienically dispense the amount you need and you can get the last drop of it out too. There is nothing bad to say about this product, and I have persuaded my hubby to use it on his dry skin as well, and because it has no fragrance, hes happy to use it.

I got a sample of these a awhile ago and were so completely sold that I had to go and buy a full bottle. This works wonders on my arm and legs which always gets irritant and 'rashy' when they become dry. This really works and feels very natural. It's not oily and gets absorbed in just a few seconds. I do like baby moisturizers but this is among the best moisturizers I've used. The only thing I don't like is it's smell if malt. But u suppose that adds to the all natural thing. Other than the smell I'd definitely buy again.

After about two years of my grandmother raving about this moisturiser i finally gave in and purchased a bottle. My son suffers from bad eczema, and after actually buying this product for myself, I actually decided to use a little on a patch that he had on this knee. The results have honestly been amazing. Before using this, i was actually a moisturise 1-2 times a day kinda gal, due to really dry skin, especially on my arms. But after using this - it is acually a once every two days kinda job for me! My skin is so moisturised and supple, i just love it and wish i had of bought it sooner honestly. I also love the fact that it is non greasy - this in the past has been a huge problem for me. Using it on my sons eczema has also made a huge difference. His skin is no longer scaley and dry and he is not as itchy as when we have used other moisturisers. I love this, and as long as they keep selling it, I will keep buying it.

I am a dedicated Aveeno convert! I tried Aveeno after struggling to find a moisturising cream that worked - I didn't want something that was greasy or overly scented and would work on my combination skin. A friend introduced me to the Aveeno range and I have never needed another product since. I get quite dry patches on my knees, upper arms and elbows, and with 2 children in nappies, I do a LOT of handwashing so my hands are always suffering. I keep my Aveeno by my bed and apply it after my shower in the evening. It absorbs instantly and leaves my skin feeling amazingly soft and supple. There's no real scent to the product which is fabulous. I prefer the cream to the lotion, simply because I prefer a thicker product, and I actually prefer the tube as I find it easier to get the last little bit out - but either way, this product is amazing. Best of all, it has a wonderful price tag and is great for the whole family.

After getting a free sample of this I thought I would give it a go to try and get rid of my dry patchy skin. Well I got the biggest surprise! My skin is softer than it has been since I was a teenager and that to me is a huge thing. My redness has disappeared and I am so much more confident that my dry patches don't look so stand out-ish anymore. I think the design is basic and simple but I like that it has a pump top which assures that there is no wastage. The smell is not really to my liking but I can look past that because of the results I am getting.

My Mum adores this moisturiser and she bought it for me as I had no money that week... Using this product made me finally sit up and pay attention to my skin - sensitive and dry. I'm sure for people with normal or oily skin this moisturiser is great but it stung my face as if I was swimming in the sea and I didnt feel all that moisturised. :)
