Oasis Beauty Hot Toddy Serum Review

This comes in a cute wee box it looks nice and natural and it is and also cruelty free, and inside is a dark brown glass bottle with a pump top, nice to squirt the right amount out and not contaminate the serum. This is a nice light amber coloured serum, it's like a oily liquid but not heavy it's very light. This has a light oily scent nearly a musty rose not to unpleasant but I'm glad it doesn't linger. I shake the bottle and do a couple of squirts and get it on my cleansed face pretty quickly otherwise my hands would slurp it all up. After a good rub in and I nearly do a wee massage, I leave it for five and then follow up with a cream, I use this at night and my face is nice and soft in the morning and is less greedy with my day moisturiser. This I've found does soak in and I'm not left tacky at all and I don't get my face stuck on my pillow over night or leave a greasy residue on my pillowcase. This serum just seems to give my skin that extra drink it's looking for and I don't get any stinging or irritation or tightening off my skin using this and that's even after exfoliating. Results are my skin is definitely smoother and softer and my moisture levels are better so a little less in the wrinkles. I do have dry skin and this does really help the moisture levels. The more I use this the more improvements I see in my skin. A little pricey but it does last and the results speak for themselves. So I'm more than happy to keep this in my face care routine.

Many Oasis products have quickly become some of my most adored, holy grail products. After reading fantastic recommendations on the forum for this serum, it was time to get me some!

As for some background, my skin can be dry/combination and quite reactive to some products, so I have to be quite careful what products and brands to use on my skin. Oasis seem to be made specifically for my skin, I love it.

The packaging is distinctive of most Oasis products, stylish yet simple. It comes in a small bottle with a pump, great for dispensing the right amount. I use this serum after cleansing my face at night, and then massage a small amount over my face, concentrating in the fine lines. It feels lovely on the skin and makes it feel hydrated and soft. The fragrance however, is not very pleasant for me, but I'm getting used to it.

I didn't have very high hopes for this to work in improving the dryness and fine lines, as I have tried other serums in the past and not really had any improvements. But, I have to say..wow, I just love this serum. My skin tone feels so much better and moisturised. I also feel its really helping to minimise the fine lines that were appearing..I didn't think that was possible, but I really think this serum does what it says. I will never be without this serum and so thankful I have this little gem! I can't recommend this product enough, five stars from me.

About this time last year I was having a bit of a hard time finding a skin care regimen that didn't cause itching or dry scaly skin, yet was intensive enough to improve the sun damage I have sustained over the years (the eighties was the worst time to be a teenager - we all baked ourselves in the sun :( ). After discovering this brand of skincare right here on Beauty Review, I am a real convert to this wonderful serum. It comes in a nice little pump pack which dispenses exactly the right amount of product down to the very last precious drop. A little goes a long way. When warmed up in your hands and pressed into your skin, it spreads easily and is quickly absorbed. Skin instantly feels moisturised without greasiness. The fragrance is a little assertive at first, but not unpleasant or overpowering. Most importantly, after faithful use morning and night for a few weeks my skin was noticeably less dry and sensitive. I have reduced my usage to once a day for the last few months and am still reaping the benefits. My skin is clear, comfortable and smooth. And all of this made in NZ and not tested on animals. Perfect.

My first impression of this was oh dear god it stinks, it has a very overpowering smell to it, but to be honest you don't notice it once it's rubbed all into your face, luckily!!

I got this as a trial product and am so glad I did, it is amazing for my dry skin it just sinks in. I do have to allow it a bit of time before I can moistirise.

I haven't noticed much difference in my fine lines but I have defiantly noticed a difference in my under eye discolouration, which no other product has helped with.

I have sensitive/dry skin and this product has not made me break out at all, I would defiantly recommend, and will be purchasing the bottle of this.

I recently bought this after discovering Oasis Beauty and their free samples. What a great idea! I got the full size Hot Toddy, which I use as a moisturiser before foundation. It feels and smells great and keeps my dry skin looking fresh and dewy all day. I hope the anti-ageing vitamins really do work!

So after reading all the wonderful things about this product in the BR forum. I had to try it for myself. I ordered the sample from their website and waited excitedly by the mail box like a child waiting for their favourite blanket or soft toy to be washed and dried. I tried this AMAZING serum and instantly my skin felt soft and smooth. It smells fruity but it is not over powering. I use it at night and when I wake up my skin looks hydrated and healthy. I then use it in the morning under BB cream. The fine lines are almost gone now from around my eyes. I cannot believe how good this serum is. It really is magic. It absorbs so quickly into the skin and doesn't feel oily greasy or sticky. So after trying the sample I was so quick to jump back on the computer and buy the bottle I feared I would run out before the bottle arrived I couldn't imagine my regime without it now. I also love the fact they do the free samples for peace of mind. I'm gutted I never found this sooner and thank goodness for BR!!

I have never used a serum before. I got this from Oasis as a free sample and I am scrambling to get more before it runs out. I absolutely adore it! It goes on SO smoothly and easily - little goes a long way. There is a slightly warm feeling afterwards, it truly feels like it is working some magic. The scent is yummy, I leave putting night cream on for as long as I can so that I can smell the serum for as long as I can - how crazy is that?! As it works on the lower levels of skin, I expect to see results in a couple of weeks as I have only been using it for 2 weeks so far. My skin is definitely more supple and smoother - can't wait to see if the wrinkles 'relax' a little to!

I've been using the Hot Toddy Serum for about a month now, and it is amazing. It takes very, very little to cover my whole face so the lifespan of a bottle should, in theory, last me maybe six months!

It has a very strong aroma, but it's not overwhelming at all - the opposite really - when I use before bed, it's soothing and takes my mind off the day (face aromatherapy! :))

I have noticed an improvement in the fine lines under my eyes since using this, and it absorbs really well. It's a very light formula, and doesn't sit heavy on your face. I typically follow this with a good moisturizer, and I've never had any sensation of 'caked on' which you can get from some products.

I would unhesitatingly recommend this product, and I'm very impressed with all the products I've tried from Oasis.

I was gifted this recently and I absolutely love it ! I find that even though it is a serum it is not as greasy as some of the other serums that I have used before. Also with the pump application it is easy to get just the right amount that you need. I find that it absorbs very nicely into my skin and doesn't leave an annoying film on the surface of my skin.

I was a bit concerned at the beginning my the size of the bottle but a little bit seems to go all the way and all I need is one pump and it does my whole face.

I feel that since using this product my skin seems to be a lot smoother than it was. I also find that my skin isn't as dry. I work in an air conditioned office and that plays havoc with my skin.

I also have to say the packaging is awesome. Very cute and love the labelling.

Oasis Hot Toddy has replaced Trilogy Rosehip Oil in my affections in my nightly routine. I Have a steadily increasing range of Oasis products and I really like everything in the range. I got this as a sample in a wee teeny bottle, and it lasted me a week; by then I had purchased a full sized bottle. I use this on my face after I get home from work and clean my face... my poor skin is quite dry over winter with the air con at work and the heat pump at home... I use one pump of this and I can just feel my face drinking it in. It is a smaller bottle that other Oasis products, but a little bit goes a long way. I think it's very reasonable for the price and I will definitely buy this again when it runs out.
