I Must Have My Apple a Day Everyday!

This is a my holy grail staple spf moisturizer. Anyone who knows me knows I'm a sunscreen fanatic. I'll wear spf indoors on a rainy day. There's so much to love about this spf moisturizer, it's almost completely comprised of natural and organic ingredients, it's not heavy and greasy, barely whitens my skin (I'm a light tan color), has zinc as one of it's two sunscreen agents, it has a spf over 20, the other ingredients in it are ones that are anti-aging and improve the health of your skin, doesn't make me break out, it retails for under $30 if you know where to buy it, it comes in an airless pump bottle and three pumps covers my face, neck and décolletage. Not much that I don't love about this product as I've been using this as a daily staple for the past two years and I wish I started sooner. The only thing about this that would be a con is the other sunscreen agent is p-ethyl hexyl methoxycinnamic acid which isn't organic, there are lighter textured spf moisturizers and an spf of 30 would be a bit more preferable. However, I have not gotten burned when I've worn this during the day. Also I've worn it under makeup any day I was wearing makeup and it hasn't been too heavy or greasy underneath, so I'm happy to continue using this and will plan to repurchase multiple times in years to come.

Tips: Don't rub in the spf as this halves the sun protection, instead apply and pat it on. The whitening will fade in ten minutes max. This is recommended as a primer but I find after time it doesn't help your foundation stay on as well so a primer would be more effective to keeping your foundation in place. This retails on Healthpost for $28.90.

I enjoyed using this product

I first tried this as a free sample from oasis. I adored the smell but I didn't feel like it was quite moisterising enough for my dry skin. Anyway, when they had their sale on for a not quite right batch, I bought two bottles. They were marked down to $5 when the usual price is $50 so I really couldn't resist. The batch has the same ingredients but the texture and smell were not quite up to their usual standard. To me, both batches felt the same on my skin, the cheaper one was just more like a lotion in texture then the thick butter like consistency that the sample product had. The cheaper one still smelt good to me.

I've just used up the whole bottle. I use it just in the morning and use 3 pumps. I do my face, neck top of my chest and also rub the excess into my hands. It feels nice on my skin, not too greasy, and it absorbs quite fast. The bottle lasted me about 6 or 7 weeks which I think is quite reasonable. I love the packaging, it's a pump and as you use it, the product moves up so you don't waste a single drop. It always annoys me when there is a heap of product left in a tube and it's impossible to get to.

My skin feels really good after using this, it did feel moisterised but maybe for my super dry skin, not as moisterised as I would like. Overall, I do think this is a good product, it smells good, it's made in NZ and it has lots of great ingredients in it. I probably won't buy this one at full price but I would definitely use the same brand again, just a different product in their range. If you have normal skin, I would definitely say to give this a go. Oasis give you 3 free samples to try out so why not :)

My skin loves it!

I use this product every morning as part of my skincare routine, and I find it to be a fantastic spf moisturiser. It doesnt stay looking white on my face and my skin drinks it up. It smells yummy like apples. I do find it ever so slightly greasy although it doesnt look greasy on my skin. I have quite dry skin after about an hour my skin will feel less greasy so my skin does soak it up. The packaging is cute and easy to handle.

Tips: A little goes a long way you dont need too much of this product to cover your whole face.

Like biting into a crunchy apple

Hhhmmmm where to start. The product as a whole is beautiful. The packaging is cute, simple and not over done. Of course it matches the rest of their range, looks great all lined up with the others. The pump I love, you only need one or two pumps maximum. Saves on squirting out to much and wasting.

The cream is silky. Smells AMAZING. Fresh like a crunching apple. Even on cold, wet and grey days the fragrance is a happiness booster. It's not a fake apple smell. A light, crunchy, real apple.

I have dry sensitive skin, I normally need a thick moisturiser. This is a light one that soaks right in. Thick ones can leave a greasy feel. I have used this for ages and it doesn't leave a residue. I can even put it on over a greasy one and it takes the oily feel right away.

Wearing this under their BB cream and or a foundation just works a treat. It's nice to put on hands as well.

We haven't seen any sun since I have been using it so can't comment on the SPF. I do love the fact it's in there though. I hate wearing sunscreen on my face but I have to as I burn easy.

Tips: Putting it on in the morning is a great wake me up. No need to wait to put on BB or foundation.

Apple a Day

I bought this in a beauty box and was really pleased as I missed out in the last vault. This comes in a nice box with a goldish sheen on the front and one sidewith a copper web in the side and.the back of the box is white so the instructions and information are really clear and easy to read. Inside in a lovely white tube with a tab you push to open at the top so when you squeeze the tube not too much pours out. The cream inside is a nice thickness with a strong apple smell which enforces the apple a day thought in your head. The cream spreads easily and absorbs really quickly . My skin feels really nice a soft and I notice the more I use it the nicer my skin is looking. It has really good SPF 25 which as I love gardening I find essential is any face product .Best of all the product is NZ made. The price is a bit steep for a 50 mil tube however I will certainly consider a repurchase. A nice surprise in the box was a sample of their BB cream which I thought was a lovely touch.

Tips: Watch you shut the little stopper when you are finished as the tube is soft and easy to squeeze out by mistake if you leave open

Apple A Day All The Way

I have very fair sensitive skin prone to being on the dry side with eczema and breaking out with some products particularly heavy products. A lightweight moisturiser that I applied morning and night after removing my make up (or first thing in the morning) after cleansing my face. It glides on smoothly and nicely, absorbed quickly & wasn’t to heavy or greasy which was great. This moisturiser has a wonderful fresh apple fruity smell but not to sickly or overbearing. My foundation has SPF in it aswell so I didn’t really get to test out the SPF side of it but fabulous that this has an SPF25 in it for those weekends you don’t want to have to put a face on !. It definitely brightened my skin up , it was feeling a bit sad and dull over these winter months thanks to air conditioning in the office and then blasting my heater on the way home in the car !! . This is one of my favourite product finds thanks to seeing it here on the Beauty Review site (well actually the Oasis brand)!. Probably a little on the higher end for moisturisers but I think it is definitely worth it for the benefits. I would definitely encourage my friends to try this.

Apple a Day

I purchased this off Oasis Beauty for $5.00 when it was on sale

It has a fresh apple scent to it, I'm not sure if I'm a complete fan of it as I'm not big on fruity scents.

Comes in a handy pump bottle, I use 2 pumps in the morning and 3 pumps if my skin is feeling extra dry.

The lotion is quite thick in appearance, but emulsifies really well in the fingers and once applied to your face.

I love the fact it has SPF in it aswell, 2 for the price of one.

I have noticed a differnce in my skin, I'm so glad I decided to try using this in winter, my skin , feels smoother and hydrated for longer.

It sinks into the skin really well, so is great for under foundation as it does not slip around too much, overall a really lovely product.

Applicious

I was super lucky to pick this up in the BR Vault Dec '15. I'd heard great things and was keen to try it but it was a bit pricey for a maybe, so this was the perfect chance. This is my first full sized Oasis product!

Oasis Beauty Apple a Day SPF25 Skin Brightening Moisturiser for sensitive skin comes in a 50 ml pump bottle simply and beautifully labelled in a mix of white and apple green, which darker green writing. The pump is a bit tricky, I kinda need 1.5 pumps so end up with two, so use the extra on my neck and ears.

The product is quite a thick white cream with a distinct, fresh, pleasant apple scent. It spreads well, but tends to sit on my skin and feel a little tacky until it absorbs. This feeling only lasts a moment and once it's properly on/in my skin feels great.

It definitely has skin brightening properties, making my face look quite alive in the morning. The apple scent is invigorating, and the effect that this has on my skin is awesome. The SPF 25 is more than enough to protect my face, especially once I add makeup, and i haven't burned once since i began using this on my face, which is awesome. I spend a lot of time outside in summer so face SPF is essential.

I love this product but where i hesitate is the price. I have used SPF face lotions that are almost as good for 1/4 of the price so unsure right now if I can justify the $40 - but I do like it, a lot, and could be swayed if Oasis have promotions on!

Tips: Oasis often run free samples - go to their website above and type 'samples' in the search bar. You can usually choose three products; i would recommend this one, a BB cream and either the milk cleanser or the berry toner, myself! :)

Top rated for a reason!

This was one of the main reasons I purchased the "Top rated" Best beauty box ever, Oasis beauty is a kiwi company that is raved about often, and now that Ive tried the Apple a day moisturizer I can easily see why.

This is the first moisturizer I have used that has a lid that is similar to a toothpaste lid. You push the back down and gently squeeze the contents out. The scent of this moisturizer is one of a kind, it smells like green apples and it lingers for at least a few hours each day.

The cream is the consistency of sunscreen, it is thick but also feels light. It absorbs into your skin as soon as you start rubbing it into your face, I like to use any excess cream to rub onto my hands, it keeps them moisturized and smelling delicious.

For the past 2 weeks I have noticed a significant difference in how this has brightened up my skin, my face looks instantly hydrated after each time I apply this. It has also helped lighten the dark pigmentation on parts of my face. It is a big bonus that it also contains SPF25 especially with the warmer months ahead.

I will be repurchasing this again, I have gifted one to my mother who also loves this. I cant wait to try more of the Oasis Beauty range. I also got a free sample of their BB cream which is an added bonus.

Appe a day

I purchased this when it was on sale on Oasis Beauty for only $5 so it was definitely a bargain if it turned out I didn't like it. Which I did!

I love the scent, like freshly cut apple slices but it's not to overwhelming like a lot of moisturizers can be. I use this every morning and only lightly rub in leaving most of it to naturally sink into the skin on it's on.

I'm not in the sun everyday so having SPF is a must and apple a day provides that without the yuck greasy feel! My skin is noticeably brighter (without looking shiny) and just overall healthy looking.

I get really bad normal acne on my chin around that time of the month and I don't find this to help at all with that so I will need to try something else like the Knock-out moisturizer for when that happens.

If you have really bad acne all over your face then I wouldn't recommend this but you want to have brighter more radiant skin then I definitely would. I love the benefits apple a day has, it makes me feel so good about using it and I know my skin will thank me in the future.

It's great that it has a pump, sooo much easier and more efficient to use.

Overall I'm glad I took the risk and tried something new. My skin looks so much more healthy than what it was before but I think I'll try Knock-out next because of my monthly chin area. I'm only 18 so I can't comment on the anti-aging but I like that it was there so hopefully my skin benefited in some way.

.. I have oily, dull, acne-prone skin. Hope this review helps :)

Tips: Ask for a sample to test out first before committing to a full size bottle! :)
