Just another eye cream!

I got this eye cream as a free gift from purchasing other goodness product and was excited to use it as I love the Goodness brand because of the ingredients it uses. Its not creasy which is good for an eye cream and it did help keep my eyes area moisturize, but I probably wouldn't recommend it to a friend as I think there are better ones out there!

Moisturizing

This is a moisturizing eye cream. That is where it ends. Packaging is great as you squeeze the amount you need and the tip is perfect to make sure you dont get too much product. This lasts a long time as a little goes a long way. Very affordable and easily accessible. Perfect eye cream if all you want is moisturised under eyes. Would recommend for a young teen as a preventative to dry under eyes and prepping the skin for more advanced eye creams.

Tips: reccomend for the 16-19 age group. Apply to finger and warm with your fingertips before applying to orbital bone in dabbing motions (never drag or rub product in the under eye area)

Its Ok

Ehh this eyecream is ok, I put it on as the second to last step in my facial regimen and whilst it is on the thicker side, I still dont find that this really does anything to my under eye are. Where it does shine for me is as an eyeshadow primer.

Its tacky and silky smooth so I was surprised to learn that it could be used that way and I ave had no problems yet.

Tips: I love this as an eyeshadow primer and as it is tacky and lasts all day.

Goodness twice a day eye cream

I am always on the look out for new eye creams to try, this one stood out to me because of the natural ingredients of chia seed, coconut and avocado oils. This was easy to apply and made me feel as though my eyes were getting some much needed recovery. It helped to revive my under eyes. However after a few minutes of application if I touched the area where I applied the cream it would rub off, which I wasnt a fan of

Goodness eye cream

The Goodness line itself has been a bit hit and miss with me, moisturizers hit, cleanser and toner miss. Thankfully this was a hit. In the short time that I have been using this, it seems to be working away in the pale apricot/yellow tube. The main results have been the area around my eyes has been nicely moisturized, but it hasn't done anything amazing on fine lines at this point. I have been applying day and night as instructed this seems to be ok under both day and night types once it has been allowed to sink in a little. Did I apply too much? possibly but I do treat eye cream like concealer and bring it down over my cheeks. Compared with another pricer brand that did work in a couple of days on my skin. This one is a longer game. I will keep using it to see if it works by a good 1/2 the tube, I'm barely into it at present.

I agree ragingfrog - it's a great moisturiser but maybe not the best eye cream for those of us (me) who are over a certain age!

Fair to middling for me

I got this product in the Thanks For...BBBE. I'm always on the lookout for a good eye product so I was looking forward to trying it.

I don't have an amazing history with Goodness products, they're lovely products, but I suspect they may not be as potent as my aging skin desires or requires.

So this one comes in a lovely apricot tube, which is actually smaller than I thought the box indicated, and has a thin applicator tube. Presumably this is to ensure only a small amount is released with each squeeze.

The product itself is a thin white lotion, but slightly thicker/creamier than a lotion. It has a very gentle but pleasant perfumey scent - though oddly the tube says it's fragrance free? (did it pick up a scent while it sat inside the BBBE?)

On application it absorbs very quickly and leaves my under eye area well hydrated. That is very nice, but over time I haven't noticed any change to my eye bags or wrinkles.

I love the gorgeous ingredients - witch hazel ( which explains the nice cooling sensation when it's applied), chia seed, coconut and avocado - all my favourites. All combining to make a fabulous moisturiser.

I will continue to use it to the end and benefit from it's moisturising properties but maybe my eye area is 'too mature' for this lovely product to tackle the big three - lines , puffiness and bags! I tend to think of Goodness products as suited towards women younger than myself and this product hasn't changed my view.

For a good eye product it's a great price and has fabulous ingredients, and I would recommend it to women maybe of a younger age or those just starting to need an eye product. For older women, I think we've missed the boat with this one - something stronger might be more beneficial. I'd be happy to continue to use it as a daytime facial moisturiser as well, it has the goods for that most certainly. No SPF, but hey, I live in the South - there's no sun at the moment!.

Thanks Maree, this cream lasts I have only used about a 1/3 of the tube with twice daily use. Still no major noticeable difference in my skin. The only thing it has real done is get me in a habit without spending a fortune on a product.

Not for me

I purchased the whole goodness range - I loved the look and the ingredients. It just sounded so good.

What was also good was the price! It’s such a good price. You don’t use much it has quite a fine tip nozzle so it applies evenly and cleanly. I’ve been using the same tube for a while now and like the cleanser it’s lasted a long time.

It looks good. The whole range is well presented. Modern, stylish and easy to use.

Is a light cream. Not greasy or sticky and coats the eye area soothing as it goes. Not heavily scented at all.

But.. I feel like this is best suited to someone just starting out. It didn’t really do anything for me. I really just felt the soothing effect. But in terms of minimising, reducing etc it didn’t make a dent. It may have preventative ingredients to guard you but personally for me I need something stronger.

still waiting

Goodness are a wonderful company, and for some reason or another they sent me this for free along with a chia seed oil. I was quite excited, I was just getting on the eye cream buzz and I couldn't wait to smash into this head first.

The tube is actually quite generous for an eye cream, and it's lasted me ages. I do only use it once a day, rather than twice, but even so it's standing the test of time. The smell is quite pleasant, it's very mild and definitely not irritating, nor is it offensive to the nose.

The eye cream is just that, a cream. It applies easily and absorbs fast but... What is it supposed to do!? The blurb about it isn't all that helpful, and I just... Is it just a thin face cream labelled as eye cream? What sets this apart from a normal face cream!? I just don't get it. I personally wouldn't repurchase, as I have no idea what it's supposed to do, and I haven't noticed any changes to my eye area, with makeup or not.

Budget Friendly Eye Cream

What attracted me to the Goodness range was the natural ingredients and no hidden nasties. This eye cream comes in an 18ml tube which is quite generous for an eye cream. It contains witch hazel extract, chia seed, coconut and avocado oils and is not tested on animals. Quite hydrating and leaves my eye area soft and moisturized, but not a lot of difference to my dark circles under my eyes. If you want a budget friendly moisturiser which contains lots of natural ingredients, try this.

Tips: Just use a small amount as it takes a while to absorb into skin.

I wanted to love this eye cream as I'm a big fan of the brand Goodness overall. This eye cream felt really nice on my under eye area, I also really like the packaging as its easy to get just the right amount of product and is hygienic. The only drawback for me is that it caused some Milia under my eyes, which is a sign for me and my skin that it is too thick/pore clogging. I would recommend this, unless you experience Milia a lot with eye creams, and in that case I'd try a gel-like texture instead.
