Essano Cream Exfoliator With Few Sparse Rough Bits

I was lucky to win this in a pack with some other products. I do really like Essano products so I was happy to get this. I've never heard of rosehip bio-exfoliants but I was hoping these tantalizing all natural rosehip bits were as gentle as jojoba beads which are my favorite natural manual exfoliant. The product comes in a big pink 100ml tube which is a really good size for the price. The exfoliant is a cream cleanser with a with a few sparse scrubby exfoliants. It smells like the signature earthy rose scent that I found the line to smell like. I do like that the ingredients in this scrub are organic. The ingredients are water, aloe vera juice, glyceryl stearate, caprylic/capric triglyceride, coco-caprylate, cetaryl alcohol and cetearyl glucoside, ceteraryl glucoside and sorbitan olivate, cetyl alcohol, glycerin, stearyl alcohol, rose hip extract, beeswax, benzyl alcohol, dehydroacetic acid, silica, xanthan gum, fragrance, rosehip fruit oil, tetrasodium glutamate diacetate, potassium sorbate and lactic acid. 99% of the total ingredients are of natural origin and 11.7% of the total ingredients are from organic farming. It's even certified by Ecocert. When I used this I had no allergic reactions or stinging. The product was easy to get out of the tube which is great considering I did have packaging issues with two of their other products. They come in a tube though. However there is two big cons for me when it comes to this product. One is that the scrubby bits aren't concentrated enough in this scrub for me to get a nice even exfoliation when I use this. The other con is that the exfoliating bits are too rough. It feels like some parts of my face are getting scratched and others are just getting gently cleansed by a cream cleanser. I do think if the Rosehip bio-exfoliants or more likely it's silica, was replaced by jojoba beads and a lot more jojoba beads than current ratio of silica to cream cleanser, this would be a really nice gentle facial scrub. But because of that I won't purchase this and I'll probably give it away.

Tips: If you love natural products and scrubs and the rosehip bio-exfoliants are beckoning you, they aren't as gentle as jojoba beads. What's most likely the exfoliant in this scrub is silica. Also this scrub doesn't have enough of it to give a good even scrub, so if you like the exfoliants to be more concentrated in your scrub give this a pass.

Nice little cleanser

I saw this range in the supermarket and was looking for a different cleanser. I love the pink packaging and the fruity, clean smell. I found that you only need a little bit as goes a long way. It is very smooth and creamy and took off all my makeup. Rinsed off easily and my skin does feel clean and smooth. I like that the smell lingers a little and my face felt very fresh. Make up was all gone and my skin didn't feel dry. I will be trying more of this range, would use again.

Tips: Great little supermaket cleanser, good sized tube for packing when going away.

My go-to night-time routine!

I'm in love with Essano as a company. Their packaging is beautiful, their product really works, and their ethics are a godsend. In particular, I really, really love their exfoliator.

I'm one of those people who just cannot live with only cream cleanser. It doesn't work. I've been using an exfoliator every day for years, and my skin can't cope when I stop. However, I am aware that consistent exfoliating can also be quite unkind to your skin, leaving it scratched and sore and prone to nasty bugs.

But this product is so good! It's very gentle, made of good, natural stuff, and really works with my skin. Consistent use of it has left my skin largely perfect, with only the odd blemish every now and then.

I definitely recommend using this product.

Lovely and gentle

I'm not usually an exfoliate person but took this travel size with me to Denmark and seeing I've started getting a few implies, just started using it. The results have been good. It s gentle, not a huge amount of exfoliating bits but just a little of he cream will do for your face. The tube is a lovely design, attractive and makes me want to stock my supplies with them. The exfoliated cream itself is a patchy pink, a lighter shade of the packaging with bits of rose hip granules giving an inconsistent colour and texture. I really like the look and feel of the cream. I think it's made my skin brighter and definitely in good condition. My skin is dried a little afterwards, but as long as you're happy to apply moisturiser when you've finished washing your face, as I do, that's fine. It isn't noticeably scented, which I also like. I have very sensitive skin but have found this lovely for my skin. I would recommend this product as a cost effective, nice, not boutique as it is in supermarkets, but accessible and effective exfoliation.

Tips: The supermarkets stock a travel pack. This is perfect to give a few products a try.

Good product

I just started using this a few weeks ago when my favourite exfoliator was no longer sold at countdown. I find it nice and gentle on the skin but still exfoliating. I don't like the smell as much as my old exfoliator and you don't get as much for your money but it is still a good product. The packaging is cute and I love that it is not tested on animals.

Essano Gentle Facial Exfoliator

I love facial scrubs, and this one I found quite good.

It comes in a 100ml pink tube with a black flip lid. This is a good size to fit on your shower shelf.

I found this exfoliater to be quite gentle, which could be great for people with sensitivity. It has a gentle fragrance which is not overpowering.

After I used this in the shower my skin felt clean, soft and totally refreshed. I will continue to use this as I have had no adverse reactions.

GENTLE but effective!

I tried this after my Mum bought me an Essano gift pack for Christmas. I have been buying most of the Essano face care products since as they are amazing - the facial exfoliator is no exception! I love it. It is definitely gentle but it still feels like it gives a great skin polish. It smells nice and leaves my skin silky smooth.

Tips: No tips other than if you are thinking of buying it then do :D

Essano Exfoliator

I own a scary amount of Essano. I adore the fact they're cruelty free, I adore the fact that they smell so good and I adore how cheap they are. Essano doesn't use microbeads either, which is even better!

I found this product while looking for something to replace St. Ives Oatmeal Scrub, and I'm so in love with it. I have sensitive skin with so many blocked pores, and my acne is virtually gone with this product. I tend to follow up with the cleanser to make sure my skin is in tip top shape!

Tips: Those aren't microbeads, they're ground rosehip! This means you can use it on a septic tank with 0 stress!

Great natural scrub

I bought this scrub because I wanted an affordable one with natural ingredients. I'm very wary about scrubs that have particles or beads that you can feel when you use it because I've read a lot of articles saying they scratch the skin not just buff it and ones that have plastic beads are bad for the environment and the fishies.

Its got the usual scrub feeling but doesn't leave your skin tight after you've washed it off, which is nice. The smell is pleasant for a natural product, it still has a hint of essential oil but not as strong. Overall a great scrub to use about once or twice a week.

Tips: Use a generous amount so it doesn't feel scratchy but the beads tend to roll around which doesn't feel so harsh.

Loving the smell but not very exfoliating

I've been using this daily for the last couple of weeks. My skin seems to reacting well to it but for me I do feel to be called an exfoliate it should be a little more exfoliating. Its a great cleanser though! and very moisturising!

Very cute packaging and delicious smell!
