Ah I love a bit of Lush and for the most part I quite like this lip scrub.
It tastes nice, it exfoliates gently and it leaves my lips soft.
BUT. You're essentially paying $12.50 for a bit of sugar in goo. (Probably not actually goo...). And its quite messy, and yeah you can lick it off, but come one, should being able to eat it be a good reason to use a product?!
I think for the health of my wallet I'll stick to the soft toothbrush for exfoliating, and leave the sugar for my tea.
Smells and taste yummy (lol) can’t say I feel it works 100% it leaves an oily ( not bad ) residue on your lips
Smells amazing!! also a sucker for pink so that is a big bonus. Does a great job as exfoliating my lips and would make a great gift for a friend.
I love this! I do find the sugar granules are a little big though, which meant I found them falling off so I ended up using a little bit more. The jojoba oil leaves my lips smooth and soft and this is gorgeous for buffing away any flakes and cracks, your lippy looks great after using this. The mint julips tastes amazing! However I must say, I actually make my own lip scrub with brown sugar and coconut oil and it does a better job and is a lot cheaper..
Tips: Use before a lip stain or long lasting lip cream to stop that dry, uneven look.
This scrub smells SO nice, and tastes just the same. I feel like it does exfoliate my lips - but for this reason it also makes them feel very dry, even when I put on lip balm straight after.
Tips: Works well if you have dry skin sitting on your lips that you need to get off, but don't use it just for the sake of it
I have this in Mint Julip and Cola. They're great little scrubs when I remember to use them. They taste/smell amazing but depending on the batch you get it might be a bit crumbly.
I was really excited to use a lip scrub for the first time. I used the bubble gum flavor and it smells and taste delicious! I did find that afterwards my lips feel smother and more hydrated afterwards but to be honest my lips weren't to bad to start off with.
Tips: Don't rub to hard!
I wasn't really sure what to expect with this. And I have come to the conclusion it's ok... I got the popcorn flavoured one... I don't particularly like it. It tastes strange, salty and sweet at the same time with a chemically enhanced popcorn flavour
Flavour aside the scrub itself is good, but can hurt if you rub it to vigorously. But it does a good job exfoliating the lips and I like the tingly feeling it leaves. Definitely finish with a decent slick of balm or gloss afterwards
I bought this scrub in the flavour 'Mint Julip' the other day after hearing so many amazing reviews. I absoutely love the fact that after applying to you lips, you can lick this product off, and it tastes great! I have found that when I use this product, it seems a bit harsh on my lips and I find myself having to apply lip balm more often..not sure if this is because I may be scrubbing the product on to my lips too harshly or not, but this is the down side of the product that I do not like at the moment.I generally have dry lips all the time, and they seem to be quiet sensitive, so I will continue to experiment with this scrub to see if it works for me, but I'm still not sure that I would re- purchase.
This lip scrub is a little price and is extremely sweet tasting, it leaves lips with a sightly redder tint too. This product does what it claims to and works well if not used too often.
Tips: Only use once a week lips will get dry if frequently used
