Great product to try on sale!

This was $20 on sale from Countdown, and they have sales like this frequently for beauty products so would be good to keep an eye out. I love that this primer comes in a slim red tube. The packaging is sleek and I really like the amount of primer you get for the price. Below I have listed the pros and cons of this product.

Pro's -Creamy, smoothly consistency -Actually does blur my lines and pores. -Evens out skin tone. -Only a small amount needed, when I first applied this I used too much and it made my skin feel quite oily!

Cons: -I found this came out quite chunky after using a few times, so I like to shake the primer a bit before using. -I only apply over nose, cheeks and chin as I found that my eye makeup would slide a bit if I applied this all over my face. - This primer has a weird chemical like smell to it. This smell goes away once you have applied the product to your face.

Overall, this is a great primer. I have 3 primers at the moment and this is my second favourite. I really like that this primer provides a smooth base for foundation and makes application so much easier! Will definitely repurchase this.

Tips: Apply a tiny amount, this product can make you skin feel Quite oily/slippery if you use too much.

So disappointing...

I was filled with hope leading into trying this product. I'd seen a couple of good reviews online so when I found it on special, I eagerly pounced and bought it.

Now I wish I hadn't wasted my money. To start with, it comes out of the tube like frothy whipped cream, splattering and generally looking fairly unappealing. It's as if the product has been overwhipped and it doesn't make it easy to carefully press out only a small amount.

I have to admit that it does feel nice on my skin. It's a slippery silicon-based product so my skin did feel smoother after using it, but no more so than when I use my cheap ELF primer. And unlike the ELF primer, which provides a nice smooth base for my makeup, I found that the L'Oreal product frequently balled up as I applied my usual makeup over the top and I was left with small 'shavings' of foundation or BB cream across my face. This was definitely not what I wanted.

I also failed to see any difference between my skin with the Revitalift applied and without. I definitely didn't notice any blurring or smoothing, despite trying it on half my face at a time and also asking the opinions of several trusted friends.

I'm sorry, but it did nothing for me and I certainly won't be purchasing it again.

Tips: There are better options out there. I wouldn't recommend this product.

I also have this issue with applying foundation over top of this product ! I use a liquid foundation and when i use the cream underneath my foundation goes really funny and forms little ball type things rather than going on smoothly ...

I Like The Results

I have been using this for about a month now and I must say I like what it does.

I really only have one pesky wrinkle near my right eyebrow which I like/need to minimise and when I use this and then apply my foundation, it disappears into nothing!

Personally I find the results to be long lasting and I don't really need to use much to achieve a "blurring" of my wrinkles.

I am 37 so just sit outside of the age demographic. I use this as a primer underneath my foundation.

I am going to buy and try the Garnier 5 second perfect blur, just to see which one performs better!

Tips: You don't really need to use much to achieve the results you want.

Blurred pores, Not wrinkles

The thought of 'blured' wrinkles excited me, i mean, im 33ish, and am slowly showing the signs of age. First off, this feels SO soft!! I love the feel of it on my skin, it didnt make me anymore oilyer, and i just felt like my skin was young again. I instantly noticed my pores had dissapeared, but no wrinkles, maybe as i dont wear a day moisturiser, and you are meant to put it on after moisturising. I find this a GREAT primer!! i get so many amazing compliments when i use it as a primer. Totally reccomend people to try it out.

Tips: if you are worried about wrinkles, use it as suggested - over moisturiser - it will probably work a heap better than without.

Magic Blur

I really like this product. I got free samples with my online grocery order and decided to try and I loved it so much I went and bought the full size product. I have been using it as a primer and feel it gives me a more "polished" look. I love how it makes my skin look all smooth, it smooths over pores, and makes forehead look less lined. I put it on over my moisturiser and leave it a minute or two before applying my foundation or BB cream. In my opinion it doesn’t reduce wrinkles but it does reduce the appearance of them. I do sometimes tend to find with this product that my face does appear a little greasy at the end of the day, unlike another new blurring brand recently out on the market.

Not for me

This made my skin feel super smooth and soft, but it didn't really make it look any smoother, which I thought was the point. I noticed if I wore this under my foundation, it actually made it cake up quite a bit on my nose and forehead, which I really didn't like. It didn't look too different either.

I also tried this out with just a powder over top, but I didn't get enough coverage so it's not something I would wear regularly. The rest of what I have pretty much just sits there on my dresser. I'm not sure if it's just my skin type or foundation preferences, but this was definitely not for me.

I do believe in magic

I received some samples of this in my weekly shopping so was after a couple of weeks decided I may as well give it a go. I had heard of the product but like so many other 'magic' products advertised, I was a bit dubious about the results.

Wow was I ever wrong!! You only need a small amount of product and it feels absolutely amazing going on. There was an immediate difference in my appearance, it was like I had one of those amazing Instagram filters permanently fixed in the mirror! In fact the first few times I used it, I didn't wear any more makeup, I felt confident enough without anything else.

On the days I have worn makeup over top, it's so much easier to apply and just seems to enhance everything I am definitely a believer in this magic

This is what I call a great product!!

I bought this when it first came out in stores after seeing it advertised so much. It's gotten to the stage where I need to apply this product everyday to feel fully confident in how my makeup looks! It just smooths everything out, hides Pores and any fine lines and actually feels nice on the skin unlike other primers. This keeps my makeup on all day and really does its job but at the same time keeps everything natural and feels light. I am definitely re purchasing! !!!

Tips: Only use a small amount to start- this product is very blend able and spreads easily without pulling on the skin.

Magic is right

Oh my god this product is one of my new favourites! This cream is soooo soft & smooth it literally feels like velvet i've never tried anything like it. It gets to work almost instantly minimizing pores & lines, diguising blemishes or any uneveness in skin tone leaving a smooth matte looking surface. However it leaves me looking a little pale so i wouldn't wear alone i use as primer and it's the perfect product for that job. This cream worn under my foundation makes my face look so clear & fresh better than any other primer i've tried, it's a keeper.

Magic

This product game my face a super smooth feel and really does what it says by reducing the fine lines and pore on my face. Made my foundation application easier and looked more natural.
