This Soap & Glory Hand Food is a deliciously scented, hydrating hand cream. I love how it nourishes the skin, without feeling greasy and is highly concentrated so the tube lasts for ages. I also gifted a mini version of this to someone undergoing Chemo, and they loved it as well!

Tips: Apply as often as you can, but especially after washing hands and before heading to bed.
I have been a fan of Soap and Glory products for years and I love them all! This gorgeous scented hand cream is one of my go creams. Yes, it smells amazing, yes it is non greasy, yes it absorbs very well and yes, my hands look and feel so much better off after using this. I can't rave enough about this cream. I use it last thing at night, it is a vital part of my evening ritual and I use it a couple of times during the day.
Tips: Try this at your local Mecca store!
Love this hand cream, so thick and moisturising, yet soaks in fast, doesn’t leave my hands sticky, just beautifully soft and moisturised. I like the scent too, it has been a favourite of mine since discovering it 12ish years ago while living in England. I also like the lime scented one, that one is a tad lighter than this original. It has 2 sizes, the little one is great for the handbag and I have the large on my bedside table, will always repurchase, no matter how many other hand creams I try, I keep coming back to this one!
A pink squeezable tube with a flip top lid Original Pink rose and bergamot that’s the fragrance to me more like a bit of bitter rose and vanilla Pleasant enough. The hand cream is mid consistently, white in colour, not waxy or greasy. It quickly absorbs into my skin within a couple of minutes so no worry about touching anything after applying and leaving a greasy mark. It’s called hand food and yes I guess it is, it does leave my hands moisturised and soft but I have noticed the more I use it the better condition my skin has become. It’s a reasonable price for a large tube (125mil) I have hard working hands and this cream ticks all the boxes, it relives dry tight and is slowly improving the condition of my skin makes them feel soft. I’ll easily repurchase this.
Tips: Slather in on
Argh words can't express my love for Soap & Glory, it's almost up there with Lush. Their Hand Food is such a fab product and super affordable, even though it's probably one of the best hand creams I've ever tried. The lotion is the perfect thickness, and has a delicate but lovely scent. It leaves hands soft and cared for without being overly greasy, and helps massively to reduce dryness. It's from a great brand that doesn't test on animals, and comes in the cutest pink packaging you'll ever see. Honestly, what's not to love?
Soap and Glory are the absolute masters of body products. They've nailed the most amazing formulas, cutest packaging and done it all for a miniscule pricetag that gets me Mecca Beauty Loop points. I've been sold on these for ages and now I can get them in NZ I'm so so happy.
But I digress......
The Hand Food actually comes in a wee half price, half sized handbag option as well - $4 ish for 50 mls. I'd recommend getting the smaller size to carry around.
Packaging is the typical S&G dusky pink with graphic labelling that is sturdy enough not to leak when thrown into bags and carted around on planes (trust me on that one!)
The cream is very thick - borderline body butter consistency - and white, with a delicate scent that is apparently rose and bergamot. Other key ingredients are shea butter, macadamia oil and (interestingly) marshmallow.
It absorbs pretty quickly - not super fast but it *is* really thick, and the residue isn't at all greasy. Hands are left with a soft scent, and lusciously hydrated.
It's so cheap you could apply it a dozen times a day if you needed to, but you really won't, it gets the job done.
Cheap luxury that earns me rewards? I'm so IN....
Tips: Soap and Glory have a range of minis at Mecca Maxima - check these out as a starting place
The smell and texture is Devine . Highly recommend to anyone with dry hands . Has made mine silky-smooth again .
This is the best hand cream I have ever used. I get dry flakey skin on my hands in the winter due to the weather and I have to use hand sanitiser often at my work. This hand cream is not greasy, it absorbs quickly, and smells great, on top of actually making my hands feel human instead of lizardy. I love it.
Tips: Buy the mini travel one to chuck in your purse for on the go softness
This is one of the few beauty items I've repurchased. It feels a little bit fancy but affordable and easily obtained from Mecca etc
Unlike most handcreans I find applying before bed is enough. I am an extreme hand washing so that is saying something! The fragrence is a m a z I n g and I find it helps me relax and sleep. A sleep association or just a great fragrance who cares? It is however a strong fragrence so maybe best avoided if you sensitive to scent.
Definitely worth a try!
Tips: Keep beside your bed and apply at night
This is such a beautiful hand cream and I agree with the title 100% - hydrating. It is a really thick hand cream but its not greasy like some thick creams can be.
Leaves my hands so soft and nourished and it smells amazing. Makes you want to eat it actually ha ha ha.
I love the fact that the price tag makes it cheap enough for everyone to afford but not cheap quality - this is some seriously good stuff here. And I love that it is in a squeezy tube as opposed to a tub.
