Not sure if it works

I had high hopes for this product after I was recommended by a friend. The only good point for me was the price, at least I didn't waste a lot of money. It didn't really do anything for my spots that I could tell, though the product smelt promising a slightly pharmacy smell I saw no change in my spots. The reddish remained the spot didn't seem to go down any faster than if I put nothing on it.

Maybe I just have stubborn spots i'm not sure. The product is cheap specially if you get it from Iherb and the amount you receive is good. But not sure I will replace.

Excellent zit zapper

I bought this a couple of weeks ago from my local Kmart, and since using it whenever I have breakouts, I have noticed a big difference. Firstly, the size is great- not too big, not too small. I really like the roller ball applicator, as you just roll it on to your problem areas without the need for Q-Tips. The smell is quite strong, and at first you might find it a bit overpowering, but you get use to it after a few uses. Now to the main part.. how well does it really work? Well I have used quite a few pimple 'zappers' over the years, as my skin has always been quite problematic. And I found this to be the best I have ever used. I apply it twice a day, usually once early afternoon when I get home, and another application when I go to bed. The packaging recommends 3x daily, but I think its about personal preference. Since using this product, I have noticed my pimples go away almost instantly, because of all of the fantastic pimple fighting 'chemicals' in the product. I find it too drying to use it too often, so only use it when needed. Overall, a truly great product- good size, affordable, and does exactly what it says!

Cleaner skin

Despite my teenage years being well behind me, I do still suffer from the odd pimple or blemish so I'm always on the lookout for an effective solution.

One of the first things that caught my eye with this product was the price. I have to admit that I didn't expect much from a product that cost less than $5, but I thought it was worth a try. And I'm glad I did. While not the most effective product I've ever used, this certainly did reduce swelling and lessen the red colour of the blemish without drying out my skin too much.

The packaging was another point that sold me on this product. I liked the subtle, stylish white frosted bottle which looks a lot better in my handbag than a traditional tube of pimple cream! The small clear ball bearing applicator also makes it very easy to apply, without the risk of using too much or wasting any.

Being a clear liquid/gel, it also absorbs into your skin nice and easily, as opposed to many creams that sit in a large blob on top. The smell is also not too unpleasant or strong and dissipates quickly.

Well worth a try.

Tips: As long as you let it dry, this product will sit nicely below make up and you can even reapply during the day without it being too obvious on your skin.

ELF Zit Zapper

I purchased this product off iHerb.com

Consistency- This product has a liquidy which made it more difficult to apply directly to the target area without applying to surrounding skin also.

Application- This product had a roller ball which made application rather easy but due to the liquidy consistency it made it a little bit more difficult to apply directly to the target area without applying to surrounding skin also.

Fragrance- This product had a strong fragrance similar to other acne treatments I have tried, once dried on the skin it was unnoticeable.

Coverage- A small amount of this product goes a long way.

Usage- This product is very economical as it is super cheap to purchase and one tube will last a very long time.

Price- This product is definitely cheaper than other acne treatment products I have tried.

Packaging- The packaging of this product is great for how inexpensive the product is. The packaging is a small clear roll on.

Results- I used this product every day as a spot treatment for around three weeks, I don't feel this product did anything for my skin.

Skin type- I have very fair combination, blemish prone skin. I get an oily t zone but other areas of my face often get dry.

Repurchase- I would not repurchase this product I have tried many other products that were way more effective than this one. I don't mind spending a bit more money for quality.

Tips: Purchase off iHerb

10/10 literally would recommend.

I'm not going to lie, I really do have perfect skin. I hardly ever get any pimples (yeah, my highschool days were a breeze) but when I do, I use this godly-stick and any blemish goes away. I think the best thing about this is that it's so affordable and the applicator allows you to hit exactly where you need to.

It will definitely work well for someone who only has a few pimples here and there every now and then.

Tips: Be prepared for the stinging which is 100% worth it. That's how you know it works :D

Love this product

I struggle a lot with annoying one off pimples. The type that pop up in certain areas on my face one at a time and go bright red for days. Before purchasing this product, I had been using the old 'use perfume to dry out your pimples method' but had found that it really wasn't good for my skin. I found this in store for $5 and thought it would be worth a shot. When you first open the lid and take a whiff, the smell isn't too great, but with it containing a lot of pimple fighting chemicals you can't really help that. The product has an easy to use roll on top so you don't need to carry around q-tips to apply it. It's a nice compact size, great for shoving your bag on the go. I find that after a couple of hours I start to see my pimple sizes reducing and a lot of redness goes away.

Tips: Apply once a couple of hours before applying make-up and once before bed after taking off your make-up :)

Holy wow wow bow

Omg so this morning I woke up with 5 really big, red pimples that came out of nowhere, all on one cheek. Luckily my Elf order had arrived on Monday so I got to put it to use!

I washed my face, used a toner, and applied the zip zapper on, followed by a primer and no makeup. It is 9pm now, and by goly THEY ARE GONE!! Gone I tell you. I am so amazed!

I have used 3 different spot trick zapper things and none of them have ever worked like this.

It has no smell, is clear and doesn't create a sticky film substance across the pimple and dries within seconds.

It's very small perfect for a makeup purse or on the go in your handbag. It has a nice, sleek and clear design so you can see when it is running out, and also clear on the skin.

The only thing I worry about is that it is a roller ball applicator, which is convenient yes, but germs are transferring onto the roller ball, which you later roll onto another pimple, transferring all that bacteria.

Doesn't work for me

I've had this thing for a while around 6 months I guess, haven't reviewed it till now as I found it hard to tell if it was actually doing anything at all. I don't get pimples very often but whenever i've had the odd one pop up since i've had this i've used it, applying directly to the area several times daily.

As far as I can tell this does nothing for me, no reduction in redness or size. Even if I try to zap the zit with this as soon as it begins to appear, it will still form every time and live out it's full cycle no matter how often I keep applying this stuff. It doesn't seem to affect my skin in any way, no drying, stinging or stickiness, pleasant enough to use and has a slight menthol smell.

The roller ball applicator I don't like the idea of as it's probably going to be dragging the bacteria from the sore back into the product..gross. On that note i'm going to chuck this now, only paid $2 for it so no biggie.

Tips: I notice this product is highly rated here and there are a few like me who it didn't work for, so it's probably just one of those things where results vary quite some. You can get this for $2 @iherb.com so you might as well give it a go if your interested, as others have said it works wonders for them.

Immediate results

I feel like I have been searching for this since the dawn of time. I've tried many topical pimple treatments in my time and never really found one that warranted repeated purchases - until now.

This product has changed the appearance of my skin in a matter of days. I have been very stressed lately and my complexion is showing the signs of this, so there's a lot of pimples cropping up. I applied this during the day and before bed, then woke up with a whole new face (or so it would seem!). There is such a wonderful, visible difference. Pimples are smaller, less irritated, and no longer red or angry looking. On top of that, the few pores I could see where on their way to becoming pimples are now back to normal!

This product is also very easy to apply, it smells nice and does not sting when applied. It dries matte and is invisible, which is rare for these types of products. I highly recommend this zit zapper!

Zit Zapper?

I got this from iHerb because I was having a bout of pimples and I wanted something quick and easy I could throw on them to silence them. It arrived fairly quickly and I immediately opened it and gave it a whirl.

The dispenser ball is quite annoying and I don't always get a lot of product from it. You're supposed to roll it on the area, but as I didn't want to put germs on that and give myself more pimples at a later date, I applied it to my finger instead. You can see how little actually comes out when you use it on your finger, too.

The liquid is clear, smells medical and I honestly don't see it making a huge difference. I've applied it onto angry looking lumps and pimples, and everything in between. I applied it a few times a day too, to get an added effect but nothing happened. I have products that work a lot better, so I don't think I'd repurchase this in a hurry.
