Elizabeth Arden Advanced Ceramide Capsules Daily Youth Restoring Serum Review

I won these through a competition and was so excited. I'd been meaning to try these for ages and love all my other Elizabeth Arden products.

Everything you've heard about this is right!

My skin gets so dry and is really sensitive. I use this after getting out of the shower so it has plenty of time to absorb. I find it absorbs better than other serums or oils I've put on my face. It leaves my skin hydrated and so smooth. That was the biggest surprise for me.

It smells great and I couldn't recommend it enough. I'd happily pay the price for these.

I was dubious about trying these as they seem to get mixed reviews. I've been using them for a week, and I think I can see a difference. They're easy enough to use, simply twist the top and the serum comes out. (Kinda think a pump bottle would be better though - less packaging and product waste anyway!) The texture is silky smooth, I found it really oily the first couple of times, but it glides onto the skin like butter (not that I have tried putting butter on my skin of course) It fairly quickly seeps into my skin, but I do have to wait before applying any other products or makeup otherwise they slide right off. Fragrance free, and doesn't affect my slightly sensitive skin. There is way too much in one capsule for one application, but my hands have never been softer, it makes a great if expensive hand lotion (oil). My skin does feel silky after application, so I think it's working.

I received several samples of these little capsules and was looking forward to trying them. The capsules are a gold coloured round shiny attractively packaged product. The serum is accessed by pinching off the little tip and squeezing out the oil. I wouldn't recommend for younger oily skin but for mature wrinkly and dry skin, this serum is a hydrating boost. You can use daily after cleansing then apply all your other skin products on top, or every couple of days for a pick me up of hydration. The price is very high end, I would regard this as a luxury item of skincare. The oil has no scent and is non irritating for sensitive skin. I would purchase these if on special or they come as a gift with purchase due to the high price.

I was lucky enough to win some of these and have been using them as often as I can afford ,EA are a little pricey but they usually live up to their reputation of being good quality products .

These are easy to open ,but they are oily so be careful ,they can be a bit greasy but for my dry mature skin they really helped hydrate it and make it feel better .

I prefer them in the round container to the vertical one as they are a little hard to get out of the taller one .

Then packaging always looks enticing and pretty on my vanity . All in all I love EA ,something I can highly recommend to all.

This serum comes in little rubbery gold droplets, they come in a airtight container a plastic see through flip up lid it looks attractive enough and the gold contents it does look lavish. These we capsules are easy to use twist the wee nibb at the top of these off and the clear oily non fragrant contents are ready to use all nice and measured out, and sealed so the rest of the contents aren't exposed to the air, I find one is more enough to do my face and neck the whole lot does soak in. First use wow my skin just glowed in the morning and my moisture levels were great and it just improved from there. These are nice and easy to apply but it does leave me a little shiney, so I just use these little suckers at night. I like to cleanse and use this and give it a little soak in time and then follow up with a night cream, so they can do their magic while I sleep. I found the wee capsules get quite hard to twist the top of if they are exposed to moisture, like a steamy bathroom so keep that lid shut. These wee capsules are so nice like dipping my skin in a little luxury. I think they are expensive but 60 capsules is 60 goes, and if you wanted to stretch it out maybe use them every second night I do get soft moisturised clearer skin no improvements in the wrinkles but my skin is softer and feel great.

This product is unbelievable.. I was a bit skeptical cos to me it was just a gimmick, with little capsules in a pretty tin. But boy was I pleasantly surprised. I received this as a prize and at first glance it looks top notch as you would expect from Elizabeth Arden. The tub lid is spring loaded and so clicks closed and open well to keep capsules fresh and it looks great too.

The capsule feels rubbery and they need a twist on the small nib and it empties out a small bit of silky feeling clear serum which has a bit of oiliness too it too but when massaged into a cleansed face it just sucks it up.

After day 2 I could see and start to feel a difference in my face and neck..it keeps your skin hydrated and feels like it's healing from the inside...

If I could afford it I would use this everyday forever.

I would definitely recommend to friends who want an all over treatment for numerous skin issues especially pigmentation and uneven skin tone as well as skin that needs extra care. Love it!! So worth the price tag.

I got these about two months ago and I'm hooked.

I will admit the very first time I tried one I freaked out, I'm not accustomed to putting oil on my face and I wiped it off straight away but I gave them another go and let it soak in (which it actually does really fast).

My skin has never looked better they make all my other treatment work better and my skin is glowing.

Yes they are a little pricy but in my opinion definitely worth every penny!

I did hear somewhere that people were ingesting these DO NOT SWALLOW THESE!

I love these. I call them my magic beans! I bought these (along with an array of e arden products) a little over 2 months ago. So far my mum, sister, and husband are hooked too. My skin has never felt or looked so good. Normally I quickly write these sort of products off as "all talk" but this one is definitely a keeper.

These are so, so handy - little capsules that contain exactly enough for your face and neck - genius!

The capsules are a little bit of a challenge at times, you need to twist the top off and the capsule consistency is a bit like with a vitamin capsule. If you twist it enough it does work, but if can be messy (personally I just use scissors on them now)

The serum goes on so nicely - it absorbs really quickly and feels really nice when it's on. I generally use this in the morning - and I typically apply a moisturiser on top - the combination just works wonders. It sits very nicely under make-up (it doesn't make it look like your make-up is melting, like some serums I've tried before) I've noticed a definite improvement in my skin after using these for a couple of months, it's much softer and I feel like there's been an improvement in some of the fine lines around my eyes. I'm going to be really sad when I'm out!

I was first introduced to these in a gorgeous little sample and they are the best luxury for my face! One capsule lasts me two or three nights because I don't feel like I need as much as is in them. It feels strange rubbing oil into your face but it's easier to think of it as a serum and boy is it worth it. My skin glows from the moment it's rubbed in and looks even better in the morning. It also makes all my products apply nicer. So happy with this product
