In two minds.

It smells amazing!!! its Kiwi made, its actually really nice. I have noticed a slight difference in my skin tone and disscolouration, BUT not in the 5 days it states on the box. More like 2 weeks of using it twice a day. It soaks into my skin so quick and is really easy to apply. however i did find that it dries my face up quite a bit so use Ananda toner to add the moisture back. I really do like Aposlte as a extra boost for my skin, but i will come back if I start seeing more results of brightning and toning.

Thanks for sharing your experience with this one! I didn't notice a difference in my skin when I used it, which was such a shame! The smell was so beautiful though! Haven't tried out their toner yet, but I'm so keen to!

You're lucky it worked for you I used this for over 6 months twice daily and went through over 4 bottles and didn't see results. I do like this brand but this product didn't do anything for me.

Skin Brightening serum

I loved the scent of this product and it was easy to use. You can feel the product slightly exfoliating as your skin slightly tingles. I did find my skin felt really sticky after application and didn't absorb quickly like most serums and oils but after a few weeks continued use it did help brighten my skins appearance and even out my skin tone. I was really impressed with the bottle although other reviewers thought differently. I find the bottle gave the product a luxurious feel. I would proberly not purchase again as it was quite expensive and I would prefer to pay extra for a product t less sticky, but definitely the best natural product I have used for skin brightening.

Tips: Don't use to much and apply moisturizer quickly after

Oh my gosh - yes!!! I too absolutely loved the smell of this product! Sadly I didn't notice too much difference in my skin tone when i used it, but the smell kinda' made it worth the original purchase! :P

Not sure this does much!

It was a good hit of moisture, but after using a bottle up I didn't notice any particular brightening. It didn't hurt my skin, but I think my face is just used to more active ingredients.

It has a watery gel-like formula with a reddish colour that soaks into the skin well, leaving a slight tacky feeling.

Tips: Put your moisturiser on straight away while this is still damp on your skin for a good hit of moisture.

@tannygirl (not sure if you'll see this) I think "natural" brands are generally really good at moisturisers and oils/serums -- usually they're very nourishing. But in terms of getting rid of pigmentation, more "active ingredients are better, eg AHAs.

I went through a least 4 bottles & applied this twice daily for over six months & it didn't brighten my skin or even lighten my light tan colored freckles. In the end I was disappointed I burned so much $$$ on this product. I like this brand though.

Antipodes Apostle Skin Brightening & Tone ...

I was excited to try this serum, I really enjoy the results I have had in the past. I decided to try Antipodes as it is a New Zealand made brand and is ethical. The serum comes in a 30 ml glass bottle with an eye dropper for ease of application. It has a nice label, pale in colour with black writing stating the all important information that you need to know.

I followed the suggestion to apply liberally to face, neck and decollatage morning and evening. I followed this routine morning and evening but unfortunately by the time I had finished the bottle I had not noticed any difference in my skin tone, no brightening or no less of a dull look .

The serum itself is one of Antipodes water based serums. This is the first time I have ever used a water based serum and I did enjoy using it. It absorbed really well and left absolutely no residue. It is an unusual colour, it has an ingredient from pinot noir grapes so it is sort of a murky pale reddish colour, hard to describe. Despite the colour it smells pleasent.

There is a lot to like about this serum, but for me it just didnt live up to its said purpose.

I have missed you Maree, hope you are all good. The range is pretty pricey, a little does go a long way though. :]

I'd love to try it Kim but the price makes me gulp - maybe it's too much if the product isn't fabulous. I love the Antipodes products I've tried so far tho...

correcting serum

I was super excited to give this product a go since using the other Antipodes products and having amazing results. I followed precise direction and applied to my face and neck morning and evening, after using the small jar unfortuanetly I didnt notice any significant differences, I was quite disapointed that I had that result I decided to grab another jar. I then again used a small amount morning and evenings, after using this jar I did notice a good difference in small spots, my skin looked noticably clearer and tonned it well.

I was an Apostle of this Antipodes Serum until...

I love natural products and had been looking for a brightening treatment for my skin. It was quite pricey but I made sure to stock up when it was on sale. I liked scent and the ingredients but that's where it ends. I used this product twice a day or sometimes three times a day if I washed my face before would put on makeup and head out and after at least six months I noticed no change to my skin. I had some redness and this did nothing! I had the lightest tan freckles and this did nothing! I still had to use my clay mask to get refreshed skin. It does have a slight tightened feeling after it dries but that didn't help eliminate my fine lines and wrinkles. So about a month ago I ran out of my last bottle and stopped using it and my skin didn't suffer unlike my wallet when I bought it. If you're looking for a miracle for your skin try praying for one instead of buying this, at least God doesn't charge 65 bucks like Antipodes!

An Expensive Disappointment

I purchased the Antipodes Apostle Skin Brightening & Tone Correcting Serum on recommendation from a friend. I was so excited to try out this product after reading all the hype, and especially because my fair skin suffers from red patches quite frequently.

Sadly, however, this serum did nothing! In fact, each time after using it I felt my skin lost a lot of it's natural glow, becoming much duller and LESS bright and dewy! I'm not sure if it was just the way my skin decided to react, but this product certainly did not live up to my hopes and expectations.

The product itself is gorgeous, however, coming in a lovely little glass bottle with a dropper. It smells fantastic, too, and I love the principals behind Antipodes with their focus on natural, organic ingredients as well as scientific backing. A little of this serum goes a long way, so one bottle of this product would last you quite a while, too.

I have now switched to their Divine Face Oil and am hoping that I see better results from this! Fingers crossed.

The Divine Oil didn't do anything either! So bit of a bummer all round :(

Ohhh - I didn't notice a difference with my skin tone either, so as horrible as it sounds, I'm glad to see that someone else didn't have the desired results from it. Hopefully the Divine Face Oil helped?

I went through over five bottles before I quit using this serum. I liked the scent and the ingredients but like you for me it was an expensive disappointment.
