Dr. LeWinn’s Ultra R4 Collagen Surge Overnight Sleep Mask

I am enjoying using the Surge Overnight Mask, and I have now been using it for approximately three weeks now.

I apply the masks two to three times a week as instructed on the packaging. The bottle has a pump that allows for easy distribution of the product and two pumps are all you need per use. The serums are easy to mix together in the hands and apply easily to the skin like a moisturiser. Once a thin even layer has been applied the mask sits nicely on the skin and I found it is only slightly tacky for approx 10 mins after application, then you don't notice it.

The mask feels very lightweight on the skin and has a slight fragrance to it, it is hard to pinpoint the exact scent but I liked it - sort of had a spa scent to it. Overall this is such a quick easy no-fuss skincare step for such a great outcome - this product has left my skin feeling soft, plump and looking more radiant.

I am a huge fan of Dr LeWinn's products and at any given point they usually feature in my regime (currently I'm using one of their cleansers and a moisturiser, both of which I've repurchased numerous times), so I was excited to try out their Ultra R4 Collagen Surge Overnight Sleep Mask.

First things first: packaging. I did enjoy the look of the product with its silver top and bottom and the two products that were separate within the bottle but were pumped out at the same time for you to then mix.

Once pumped the two products melded together easily and had a very subtle floral fragrance that didn't hang around once applied to my skin. I found the product to be quite tacky initially, however it did sink into the skin quickly.

On waking my skin felt plump and soft, and just looked better. I also found that my makeup would go on better than usual on the days when I'd used it the night before.

Is it love though? Not quite. Even though the scent's fine, it's not my favourite, and while I'll use the bottle up, I don't see myself rushing out to repurchase. A good, solid product thought, and one I'd recommend for anyone whose skin needs a boost.

I received this product to trial as part of the review crew. I liked the idea of the two part formulation that blends together in one pump.

When I started using it however, I actually struggled to get the clear part of the mixture to come out and took several pumps to even it out, which does concern me a little how it is going to work long term, will one side run out sooner?

The product itself has a rich, gel like consistency to it when mixed together, and I found I only required two pumps to dispense enough product to cover my face nice and evenly, so being used only 2 a week as directed, I could see this product lasting a while. It has a soft fragrance to it, which I love. Once on the face for a few minutes it becomes a little sticky but goes away within about 20 minutes.

I love the concept. However, I didn't see huge results after consistently using it for four weeks, two times a week so I will continue to use it as I do like the feel of it and believe it’s doing something perhaps its just taking longer on my 37 year old skin. I did break out the first two weeks of using it but i think that's just my skin reacting to a new product.

I definitely recommend this product and the price point is pretty good and affordable, and easy to access as sold in most pharmacies.

I really enjoyed using this sleep mask. I woke up after using with my skin feeling hydrated, plumped and refreshed. I honestly don't know if it improved the look of fine lines / wrinkles but my skin felt softer, smoother and consistently more hydrated.

One pump of the product was enough to cover my face, neck and collarbones and using it 2-3 times a week it will last ages. I didn't notice if this improved my sleep at all, but I did notice that the mask can feel sticky on your pillow if you sleep on your side or tummy.

Overall I really enjoyed using this product and would definitely buy again.

I picked this up in the Vault, thanks BR! I quite like Dr Lewinns products and this one sounded lovely. I don't get much sleep and it definitely shows on my skin so this product is definitely suited for me.

It comes in a 30ml bottle with a silver top and bottom, I find the packaging quite appealing. It has dual action chambers so when you press the top down they both come out separately then mix together.

It has a nice floral scent and a thick consistency, you do not need a lot of this. One pump is more than enough...if you do more you will have the most awful sticky face! I recommend starting off with less as you can always apply more if needed.

I pump out a small amount then gently mix together then apply all over my face, it dries down in about 5 minutes and you are left with the most soft feeling skin ever!

I use this 3 times a week as stated and the next morning my face always looks so fresh and smooth! My makeup applies like a dream and my skin just looks healthy and firm. Although the bottle is only 30ml it lasts forever so I think it is great value for money.

I am enjoying using this and I would buy it again.  Keep an eye out for when it is on sale!

Initially, I thought I would never spend this much on a product that is a ‘mask’, BUT wow! This is probably the best mask I have ever put on my skin!

I use it once/twice a week. My skin gets an amazing glow and dewy appearance once applied and makes my skin so soft the next day. I make sure to use it the night before an even to make my skin perfect for my makeup.

I had been searching for a product that had a Korean skincare effect and have finally found it. I will definitely be repurchasing!

This sleep mask is a good product. However, I need to trial it for longer to get any idea as to whether it delivers on the claims around improved skin. What I can say is that since using this, I didn't have any adverse effects and my skin did seem good over the first week or so.

The dual pump is fun, but I didn't enjoy the consistency of the serum on my fingers or face.

I had heard about sleep masks but had never used one so was looking forward to trying Dr. Lewinn's Collagen Surge Overnight Sleep Mask. It comes in a 30 ml bottle with the bottle split into halves - one side had a clear pink gel, the other a shimmery creamy liquid. The first time I used it, I pumped 2 squirts of the mask onto my fingers and a piece from each side came out which I thought was very cool. It had a lovely refreshing scent, was thick without being gloopy, and absorbed quickly. Two squirts were enough to cover my entire face and neck. I have to say that I am really impressed with this and found that my fine lines had pretty much disappeared. I even had hubby take a look to confirm, and he admitted that the wrinkles and fine lines had visibly reduced - and this was after only 10 days. I had been using it every night, but the instructions on the box said to apply every 2-3 nights so I've calmed down a bit and use it every other night. I am a true convert and will definitely be looking to use this again. Highly recommended if you are starting to get wrinkles/ fine lines and want them to disappear!

The silver cardboard packaging is lovely, it's sleek and luxe looking and feeling and there is no unnecessary plastic in the packaging. The canister that dispenses the product can feel a little rattly when pumping but looks lovely on my counter. This product is to be used 2-3 nights a week, I chose to use 3 times. Mixing the product before applying on the back of my hand felt like I was losing half the product, however doing this has proved it works! The skin on the back of my mixing hand is clearly visibly more smooth and plump than my other hand after 3 weeks of use. The instructions state to use as a last step in nightly routine, after serum and moisturizer I have been applying this sleep mask. It is sticky to the touch when applying and still sticky when it's dried- my husband was not a fan of my sticky face! But that sounds like his problem not mine! One of the claims this product has is the scent helps you sleep. I am a chronic bad sleeper and I hand on heart believe this claim is true, the best nights sleep I have are when wearing this face mask. It's a lovely scent too which helps. I have not noticed a reduction in wrinkles on my face but my skin is definitely more hydrated, the plumping effect does not last too long on me though, by about 3pm the day after its effects are waning. I am intrigued by this product, I've not used Dr. LeWinns before and when I'm through my current skin care I'm going to invest in this brand to see if the effects can be heightened by using the rest of thr R4 range, they are a bit pricy but I can see the potential after using the sleep mask.
